We still want to keep our informal and conversional tone, look and feel. The logo should feel like the sender wrote it, casually, on his or her business card before handing it out. Albeit with a fine brush and using your skilled hand. • It goes without saying that the company name (Dear friends,) should be easy to make out. • It should be worded just like that, with a capital “D” a lowercase “f” and with a comma on the end. • We will probably use it on a variety of materials ranging from all our digital platforms to towels and golf balls.

The general feeling is that we’re almost there. One thing though: we need a, for lack of a better word, attitude adjustment on the logo. We feel that, for our purposes, the look is a tad bit too retro, or perhaps “throwback” is a better word. We need it to be a bit more like a …tag. Something you would write on a lamppost while waiting for the subway. But with retained legibility. I understand that this feedback is a bit fuzzy but I hope you can make some kind of sense of it.
