We know that girls do best in an environment designed specifically for them, and that they excel when they are free to be themselves, without anyone to stand in their way. In central Ohio, there is only one place where a girl can discover her true voice and embrace her full potential.
That place
is CSG.
We are all
adventurers. We know it sounds trite, but we’re going to go ahead and say it: Students learn best when they’re truly engaged— and yes, when they’re having fun. That's why we give them plenty of chances to explore, and offer the guidance they need to find their own unique academic paths. Expert, passionate teachers challenge each girl to achieve her very best in our positive peer culture of highly motivated learners. It’s why our academic excellence is so widely acknowledged and why CSG alumnae say it’s easy to excel in college.

We are all
pacesetters. “All girl” means that girls have freedom. When it’s just us, we can play however we want. We speak out more, gain more confidence, and see ourselves as leaders. When we’re older, we don’t self-select into “girls’” subjects and professions. Did you know that one-third of the female corporate board members of Fortune 500 companies are girls’ school graduates?
We are all
game changers. At CSG, we work to hone all our talents, and we're not afraid of exploring new things until we find where those talents lie. That exploration makes us strong. It gives us depth. It helps us find who we truly are and how we can impact the world. Here are just a few of the ways you can test your talents outside of the classroom.
PLAY ON Unicorn sports start as early as Form II, and include 11 varsity sports like basketball, swimming, tennis, field hockey, golf, and lacrosse. We play in world-class facilities under the guidance of amazing coaches, most of whom have competed at the highest level in their sport. JUMP IN With over 50 student organizations— like Chess Club, Tae Kwon Do, Service Club, and Student Council—there's an opportunity for every interest. (We even have a club for Dr. Who lovers.) GO BIG Get creative in our theater, visual arts, and music programs. Through our working relationship with Actors’ Theatre of Columbus, you might even find yourself on stage with a professional actor.
GEEK OUT At CSG, we love our tech. Lower School girls create 3D designs, film videos using a green screen, and beta-test the latest Lego systems. Our 1:1 laptop initiative begins in Form VI, when each girl is issued a Microsoft Surface tablet. Don't even get us started on robots. We established one of the very first Lower School robotics programs in central Ohio. This tech-charged environment continues through First Lego League in Middle School, and in Upper School CSG girls partner with OSU engineering students to design, build, and program robots. Still not enough geekery for you? Check out our Harry Potter or Minecraft clubs, or take our One Laptop Per Child service-learning class, where you'll build laptops and donate them to children in need.
