WELCOME TO THE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME FOR THE SUMMER 2018 TERM

At Melbourn Village College we are passionate about enabling your child to develop into a successful and well-rounded person.

Enrichment activities are vital for students and allows them to flourish both in and out of lessons.

This brochure details all the enrichment opportunities we are offering for the Summer term.

Please note that students must book an activity for the whole of the term so registers can be compiled.

Enrichment will run at the end of each school day, between 3pm and 4pm.

If your child is unable to walk home, you will need to make arrangements to collect them at 4pm, or book a seat on the minibus for them.

MINIBUS Due to a small amount of funding being obtained, we are again able to offer a free minibus service for this term. This will be available for those students within the Melbourn Village College catchment area only. Please state on the enrichment form if you wish to book a place, however this is limited to 32 students per day .

For those using the Royston bus, this leaves at 4.00pm to allow students to participate in enrichment.

Students from the Royston area who have not signed up for an enrichment activity, must attend homework club.

Fitness Suite This is now available every day, run by Melbourn Sports Centre. Please see Melbourn Sports Centre about payment.

Paper booking forms are available to download from our website, or from Reception.

Some activities incur a cost, either to cover materials or because they are offered by external providers. The funding that has been gained to support the enrichment programme at MVC has allowed the cost of certain activities to be reduced or are now free.

Payments can be made by cheque (made payable to ‘Melbourn Village College’) or via ParentPay and must be for the whole term.

All booking forms must be received by Payments by Friday 14th September 2018
