Supported Study FAQ: When I arrive at school in the morning, where should I go?
During Supported Study Attend registration From here you will be sent to attend an exam or to your normal lessons at start of period 1. During Study Leave Immediately to the front of the Performance Hall
Supported Study FAQ: From the 12th May onwards, do I need to attend tutor time or assemblies?
Tutor time and assemblies will no longer be available from the 12th May onwards. This will become an extended preparation period for exams or an extended lunch break.
Supported Study FAQ: If I have no exams on a day – can I still attend lessons for exam preparation?
You can during Support Study and should register with your tutors in the morning. You can during Study Leave, but you must sign in and out at reception.
Supported Study FAQ: If I have completed an exam during the morning, can I study independently at home?
Yes – but……. During Supported Study, you must sign out at reception Your parents will be informed of your attendance patterns.
During Study Leave – you should leave the school site or access the central revision area provided on the day. If staying onsite – sign in and out as normal.
Supported Study FAQ: If I have an exam in the afternoon and wish to prepare at home, what should I do?
During Supported Study Arrive in good time to attend the exam – your attendance will be entered in the exam and therefore you do not need to sign in. During Study leave Immediately to the front of the Performance Hall for the start of the exam as normal.
Supported Study FAQ: If I am in school during break and lunch, where can I go to relax?
During Supported Study Youth Centre, Covered area or field During Study Leave Youth Centre, Covered area or field
Food can be purchased from the Buttery and Dining Hall as normal.

Other expectations You are required to be in full uniform when attending
the school – exams, revision or signing out ………..you may be sent home if you don’t!
Respect the school when moving around between
exams and lessons as normal – lessons are still taking place for all other years
Key reminders Transport to and from school is your responsibility. Utilise the transport provided at the start and end of the school day. Positive correlation between time in school and
academic success.
As a result parents will be informed of your attendance
appropriately across the Supported Study.
