Operations Centre see where the call is originating from and allows them to answer the call directly. There are over 150 pay-on-foot car parks that are linked back to the NOC via IP connections. These car parks consist of: One Intercom Server (either a GE 700 or a GE 200, depending on the number of call points within the car parks) Intercom within the entry and exit barriers (Commend specified Intercom, built into the machines) A master station within the car park for local control (either an EE 811 or EE 411 depending on if the system is digital or analogue) Adding Value: Using IP to network all the car parks reduces the costs of out-of-hours security coverage significantly, as all calls are directed to a single specific location. As an IP system is virtually a plug-and-play installation (if IP is available in the building) the new locations and equipment (such as car parks or Help Points) can be added to the network easily and cost-effectively. Commend UK‘s parking partners: All of the installations within the NCP Ltd. are worked on in conjunction with Commend UK‘s parking partners, APT Skidata, Parkeon and Designa UK.
