The Public Works Department will be picking up leaves between November 2 and November 20, 2020. Please do not place any leaves in the streets, before October 31, 2020. The Moyer Family On October 1, 2020 the Moyer Family suffered a horrible tragedy when their home burned, due to a gas explosion. The Moyer’s lost everything in their home. All that remains are the walls of their garage. Gerald & Laura Moyer were home at the time along with two of their children. Laura Moyer and their son Cooper have been admitted into Bronson’s Burn Unit, and in stable condition. They both have multiple burns and will need to be in the hospital for serveral days to weeks. Any and all support is greatly appreciated. The Moyer’s will have to purchase clothes, shoes and the rest of life’s necessities, while they await any reimbursement from the insurance company.

Precious likes playing with toys, but she really likes spending time with people taking walks and getting loved up. She likes to be goofy and silly and enjoys playing with other dogs. Although she does well with fun easy-going dogs, Precious will need a cat-free home as she finds cats a bit too interesting. If there is another dog in the home already, a meet and greet will need to be set up at the shelter once your application is processed. Because of Precious’ initial reserved nature, a home with respectful teenagers is recommended. Precious is two years old and weighs only 48 pounds - she is a cute little gal.
