Welcome to Erotic Poetry’s first newsletter. Our aim is to bring you an update on future events. In this edition, you can find the latest gossip and catch up with what went on at our previous shows.

Charmed Entertainments brings you an exclusive night of entertainment, particularly designed for those who are bored and tired of the “same ole thing”. We offer an alternative night out, which we believe is worth leaving the comfort of your home. This is a night with a difference in luxury surroundings amongst like minded adults, in an environment “Where we don’t need permission to talk about SEX”.

Showcasing talented artists characterised by poets, comedians, rappers, actors and dancers who are uninhibited about expressing and sharing their imagination of real experiences of love, lust, desires and sexual exploration. The organizers will go the extra mile to ensure that every month provides you with erotic entertainment at a premium standard.

The occasion can also serve as a perfect opportunity to celebrate birthdays, hen and stag

nights and other special events.

Our host is DJ Elayne Smith, from Colourful Radio, who is no stranger to taking the stage and has no qualms, in highlighting and discussing sexual topics.

The night was filled with excitement as it was left to the audience to decide who should be crowned “Mr Body Beautiful 2011” at the last Erotic Poetry Show.

Ria Brookes winner of March /April’s Showcase The remarkably talented Ms Ria Brookes, won the Erotic Poetry showcase two months in a row. The audience loved her poise and grace and the way she commanded respect and attention as her seductive lyrical content flowed softly over the mic. She mesmerized the audience intellectually with her spoken words, which consisted of an erotic nature setting the bar high, leaving it very hard for other acts to follow.

Ria came back to defend her title the following months and was determined not be knocked off the number one spot. She managed to reclaim her title in the April’s showcase where she become the

winner of Erotic Poetry Show in successive months.

Ria has been writing poetry for as long as she can remember, but feels there is a difference between poetry and spoken word. It was only by chance she realized that she had the talent to command respect, when she performed in front of an audience that was infamous for talented spoken word artist. At “Poetry in Motion” in April 2006, the night of her Birthday she was summoned to take to the stage and perform. However, unknown to the host, Ria had lyrical ammunition of the variety that wouldn’t normally be recited at that event. Thus a star was born as the audience, erupted with astonishing delig-

ht, leaving many blushing.

Ria has been a major support to the Erotic Poetry Show, not only as a performer, but she also is able to judge other performances, acts and other projects in helping to promote the Erotic Poetry Show.
