Can you risk not providing a safe and secure enviroment for your students and staff?

The Compact Visitor Sign-in and Fire Register System provides the first step in controlling visitors and highlighting the presence of unauthorised people on school premises.

While many schools have seen the need to control visitors, there are certain elements of the process that can be improved.

Compact’s “One-Write” method enables a school visitor to complete a visitor pass and visitor register simultaneously.

Visitor Pass Contains: • Visitor name and who they are visiting.

• Pre-printed school “Conditions of Entry”.

• Provision for visitor signature as acceptance and understanding of entry conditions.

• Emergency Evacuation Procedure.

The Compact Visitor Sign-in and Fire Register System is currently in use in many schools throughout Australia.

Visitor Register Contains: • Copy of all visitor details recorded on the visitor pass.

• Time in and time out.

Visitor Privacy Privacy sheet protects visitor details collected at time of sign-in from sight of other visitors.

Sign Out Procedure On return of the visitor pass to the office, visitor completes the “Time Out” section in the visitor register.

Management knowledge of who is currently on the premises is therefore easily established if an emergency arises.

CONTRACTOR PERMIT & ACCESS CONTROL Control of contractors and their employees entering school premises is essential to the safety and security of students and staff.

Contractor Permit The Compact Contractor Permit and Access Control System contains a checklist for: • Contractor identification.

• Current safety induction.

• Permits in order.

• Building maintenance plan / hazzard registersighted.

Identification Identifies contractor and their employees while on the premises.

Occupational Health & Safety • Provides details of your conditions of entry.

Contractor Management Manage potential risks being introduced by independent Contractors and their employees by creating projects and tasks that contain all safety requirements, permits and certificates.

• System will automatically provide early warning of impending expiry of inductions, insurances, permits and certificates that have been pre-set into each task.

• Contractor required to have specific task induction, permits and certificates in order before being allowed on site. Email or SMS sent to appropriate person if problem arises.

• Keep track of keys and access cards issued and returned.

• Refresh contractor knowledge of this site’s health and safety requirements upon each entry or conduct an optional health and safety quiz to test knowledge.

• Track budgeted hours for job completion against actual hours taken.
