Happy New Year! I hope your holidays were wonderful and you are ready for what 2012 will bring. With the holidays, there are traditions we may have followed and now we are heading towards our New Year’s tradition of setting resolutions. What is your resolution or resolutions? Do you make a list of “should do’s” and do they come to fruition?
the truth is that many traditional New Year’s Resolutions don’t reach completion. Our wants and needs may be there, but unless certain actions are put in place, our resolutions or goals will be classified as good intensions that fall short of completion. I can’t tell you the number of years I notice this in full force in the gym setting. The first couple of weeks to the end of January have the feeling of “standing room only” with faces I haven’t seen for the past 10-11 months. Then February through April the sardine feeling subsides until people realize that Memorial Day and swimsuit season are right around the corner and they go into panic mode. Luckily there are ways to make sure those New Year’s resolution have a chance for success! These tips can be applied to any resolution you may be striving for. Write down your affirmations, be prepared, have consistency and be accountable.
Write down your affirmations
Consistency
Give yourself the power of positive words! Your subconscious will respond to personal commands, so start saying and telling yourself “I am”. Visualize and speak your goals in the present tense as you write them down. You want to always have your goals in front of you and on your mind….
As success starts to happen, be aware of old patterns and habits that can arise when you question with self-destruction. STOP and FOCUS on the positive behaviors. “I am exercising regularly, have fun doing it and I am seeing results.” When your new habits and behaviors become ingrained secure and resistant to reverting back….
subconscious and conscious.
it becomes second nature.
Meghan Transforms Herself “ I had weighed 224 lbs for more than five years, and I was just sick and tired of being overweight. I would always hear the Complete Nutrition ad on the radio and one day I was driving by the new Grand
Preparation: When you have made the decision on your goals, set your priorities to help you follow through on your commitment. You can create your lifestyle and habits when you realign your priorities. For example: “I have decided to exercise more regularly and have made time in my schedule to do so.” No more excuses or reasons not to make your new behavior a lifestyle.
Accountability Start by being accountable to yourself. This goes back to writing it all down and then sharing it with others. Once you have that support of others, know that you can achieve your goals independently. Fears of inter-dependence can arise. You need to share with others to have support when you have a weak moment, however realize you have the strength to achieve what you have set out to do. Believing that you now can sustain the changes you have made by yourself will give you the strength when times of stress or disruption occur. YOU CAN DO IT!
Your commitment this year is your decision, your promise to yourself and your determination to reaching your desired outcome. Start today with making the commitment...the commitment to a new you in the New Year!
Yours in Health,
Junction, Colorado, store and decided to go in quickly. I was greeted by Paul Herek, the store manager, who answered all my questions. I left the store, drove around for a bit and went right back in and purchased the CTS 360 system. I started off with the Clinical/Advanced kit and instantly saw inches drop off within two weeks. Ater moving up in levels and then finally hitting the maximum, I really lost weight. I started at 224 lbs, wearing size 22 pants and having no self esteem. I am now 170 lbs and a size 10/11 and have the self confidence that i had been searching for. I have never been more thankful for a product and I have never been more thankful for the staff at the Grand Junction store. They changed my life!” - Meghan
Andrew Recharges His Life “ After hitting a low at the age of 27, I realized that I needed to make some changes. I had just lost my job, I was unhealthy and I weighed 325lbs. My hips, back and feet ached. I had no motivation and drank sugary energy drinks to get me through each day. After struggling to shed the weight on my own, I felt like I was never going to feel good about myself, physically. Then, my wife showed me a flyer for a local Complete Nutrition’s grand opening. I decided to stop in and see what they had to offer. I became a preferred member that day and picked up my first Charger Pack, along with a tub of V-Core Protein. I have been using Complete Nutrition products for a year now and have lost 115lbs! The staff at Complete Nutrition has always been friendly and kept me motivated and educated!” - Andrew
