Leave a gift in your Will
Share your passion for art with future generations
Become a part of our future Every year thousands of visitors of all ages are inspired by our world class permanent collections, stimulating changing exhibitions, lively events and activities and our stunning ‘Capability’ Brown landscape. Through a visit to Compton Verney, an award-winning independent art gallery set in a Grade I-listed Georgian mansion, each week hundreds of school children are introduced to the world of art. In order to continue funding these activities as well as major capital projects such as the restoration of our Grade I-listed Chapel, Compton Verney depends on legacies and donations.
If you are inspired by Compton Verney please leave us a gift in your Will to ensure that future generations enjoy Compton Verney as you have done.
Since we can’t predict what opportunities and challenges we will face in the future, a gift given in general to the gallery can often be the most useful. However, if you would prefer, you are welcome to support one of our Four Pillar Funds: • The Exhibition Fund for our exhibitions and collections • The Adam Fund for our built heritage • The Inspire Fund for art education • The Capability Fund for our historic landscape
By leaving a gift in your Will, you help to ensure that something you love carries on for generations to come.

How your gift helps Gifts of all sizes make a difference. For example: • £300 buys a family backpack for all to use • £500 provides a text panel to introduce an exhibition • £2,000 covers the annual cost of planting and maintaining new shrubs in our grounds • £20,000 underwrites the schools programme that reaches 5,000 children a year • £50,000 can sponsor an exhibition • £100,000 helps restore the plaster and wood work in our Georgian Chapel Charitable legacies can, of course, be beneficial from an estate tax standpoint and as a registered charity, a gift to Compton Verney can be helpful in this regard. In all cases, please consult a solicitor when making your Will.
