On behalf of the Broward County Board of County Commissioners and our 8,000 employees, we are excited for you to join us for the 51st National Meeting and Training Conference in Broward County. As you know, the conference is back to a traditional format with a virtual component from July 9 – 11 at the Westin Beach Resort.

Your COMTO Fort Lauderdale Chapter has been anxiously awaiting your arrival to showcase our beautiful County and talented team within Broward County. The Welcome Reception is proudly hosted and sponsored by several Broward County Agencies, Departments, and Offices; Aviation, Convention & Visitor’s Bureau, Port Everglades, Transportation, and Economic and Small Business Development. We want your first in-person conference experience to have the “WOW” factor from beginning to end.

Your conference is three full days of sessions, seminars and training with early morning starts and late-night finishes. The good news is that your conference happens at the Fort Lauderdale Beach, affording you a unique opportunity to do morning runs (or walks) listening to the ocean breeze or doing yoga on the sand. Break time is beach time. However, nighttime is the best time and Fort Lauderdale has lots to offer.

Please save some energy to explore our County. You are minutes away from Las Olas Blvd., which has a bevy of stellar one-of-a-kind restaurants and people watching places. In case you need new beachwear or evening wear, we have you covered with world-class shopping destinations to make a shopper’s dream come true with stores to meet every budget. Lastly, there is an array of activities and entertainment available. The most popular activities include chartered boats, comedy clubs, live musical entertainment, fishing tours, or visiting casinos. It’s impossible to experience it all on one trip. We look forward to welcoming you back again and again.
