RACHELLE ROMANOWSKI WILLNUS Ac c e s s o ry designer

Red Silk Carpet Awards Finalist

A bit about Rachelle: Rachelle started her career with a Master's Degree in Instructional Systems Design (specializing in engineering program development). She began working at Ford Motor Company when she was 19. Her manufacturing design background made for a smooth transition into hat design; which also requires a strong knowledge of design, shape, and form, fit & function. As with engineering design, hat designers must be able to assess the fit of the product (e.g., the client’s face and head shape with hat size and function). Any woman can wear a hat or fascinator – It’s about finding the best design to compliment the wearer.

Project ‘We Live And Remember in Color’ Mission Statement. Project "We Live And Remember In Color" groundbreaking mission is to unify the awareness colors of health and humanity in one ribbon. Our objective is to stress the importance of knowing your color. Knowing your color is the key to mind and body support, disease prevention, and humanitarian assistance. Because people give most to what matters to them, project "We Live And Remember In Color" intends to showcase events in collaboration with other organizations in fundraising efforts toward the many "Colors" that affect us all. Mission statement Dr. Quinton de’Alexander “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing”

-Helen Keller

No better quote expresses the philosophy of the exciting and avant-garde designer Dr. Quinton de’Alexander. Living in New Orleans, an area rich with diversity and culture, Quinton’s curiosity about the clothes and how they were structured was recognized by him and supported by his family at an early age. At eight years old, he saw a sewing machine at a local garage sale and asked if he could have it. Thank goodness for the world of fashion and for those of us who benefit from that world, that young Mr. de’ Alexander was not denied. Quinton began by teaching himself, through trial and error, how to make things. At a rate belying his talent and imagination, he saw his first creations within hours of setting up his new “toy” -perfect potholders- an event that sparked the journey of his life’s vocation. Day after day he would feed his newfound passion and sit at his Singer sewing machine and recreate garments that he had studied. Without any patterns or formal education in design, he worked at the concept until he got it right.

Michele Casto Fashion Designer

Red Silk Carpet Awards Finalist

Michele Casto

Fashion Ar tist

Michele Casto is a Salentine Artist and Fashion Artist who, with his determination, managed to bring his creations all over Italy. Originally from Racale, Casto graduated in scenography at the Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce and over the years he has made himself known in the circles of fashion and art thanks to his "sculpture dress" ("sculpture dresses"): these are dresses from the fort scenographic component, played on the three-dimensionality and on the mixture of materials and compositional techniques. The love for art in all its forms was born during the adolescent period where, in his beloved Lecce, he attended the Art Institute and later the Academy of Fine Arts where he graduated in set design and passionate about fashion. The set design is the key to everything: his "Sculpture Dress" is born from the union between "Fashion" and "Costume". It is a very particular line, whimsical and original like its stylist, formed by "sculpture dresses" that no one would ever wear in everyday life, but that on the catwalk and in the most beautiful social evenings take on another perspective and manage to dominate the scene unchallenged. Art is something that represents it. It is his lifestyle, and it is precisely for this reason that he is not satisfied with creating clothes, but he wants to be a set designer of himself. In fact, it seeks to create creations and scenographies that are able to merge together, bringing to light something new, fresh and alternative. According to Michele Casto there are no big differences between the set and the fashion because - in both cases - it's about making something that satisfies the customer, the fashion show or the viewer who looks with the constant goal of developing "something" that can fascinate, strike and inexorably remain in the mind. Among the events that made him famous throughout Italy we mention the most important: "Florence Biennale 2015", at the Fortezza dal Basso in Florence 2017 “Terra Amica. Art, Fashion and Music from Contemporary Italy to Vienna" 2018 Afro Milano Fashion Week 2019 Mad Mood Milan fashion Week

Andre Bellos Entertainer

Red Silk Carpet Awards Finalist

Born in Chicago to parents Paul and Lilliana Bellos, Andre was the middle child out of five. Being brought up in a blended family, being of half Greek and half Salvadorian decent was different for most. Theater was in his blood, leading him to express his interest in acting to his mother, by age thirteen he was enrolled in Barbizon. A modeling school and a great opportunity at that age and after graduating, it was over. There were no job opportunities for a child in the Chicago land area at that time. One year later and now growing up in Des Plaines, Illinois Andre graduated from Maine West High School in 2005 where he spent 4 years taking singing, dancing, and acting lessons where he perfected his craft. After graduating he enrolled in college, but Andre had his sights set on something else. The next decade would be the reality of becoming an adult and juggling school and odd jobs at the same time. This frustration only fueled his ambitions and in 2009 he signed a digital distribution deal with Nimbit music. By age 23 Andre Bellos had become a triple threat and broke through the challenge of standing out amongst the crowd as the newest Chicago singing sensation. On July 4th, of 2013 Andre Bellos released his highly anticipated official debut album “Mythology”. This was the graduation to another level of artistry; the album was independently released and includes 7 original compositions and 2 unreleased tracks. Mythology produced a few hits including EXPLODE, but by far the biggest single was “Otra Vez” (Tried again) which was the first Spanish unreleased single from this crossover artist. The song hit the top ten w/in 7 days on local pop charts for Chicago. This has never been done by an artist w/o a record deal, Andre Bellos made internet history, cementing his position and Mythology re-loaded in 2015. Expansion for this brand was inevitable, after some success in the local music scene Andre moved on to acting. Starting out as a background artist and moving up from there, modeling soon followed. Print ad campaigns and magazine covers really helped grow the #TeamAndreB movement. Team Andre B. our fans that make every moment so special and every difficult time worth it. It was initially produced by friends and family, along with social media it took on a personality of its own. There are Team Andre B. groups in almost all 50 states in the U.S. and growing internationally. Andre has been presented with the first couple awards of his music and acting career. On behalf of Tru-Biz magazine and the Greek film festival of Chicago they presented him with the Best R&B/Latino singer and film award. Amidst all the success he never thought he would be able to include all his talents in one program. Now Andre can be seen on Fox's hit show Empire, meshing music, acting, and fashion. He garnered cameos in the controversial Spike Lee joint "Chi-raq" and the Ron Howard film "The Dilemma", just to name a couple projects. As an adult it comes full circle, Andre now is the official male spokes model for Barbizon USA. The same company that introduced him into the business two decades earlier now takes him all over the country, telling his story of industry success to other aspiring models. The possibilities are endless for this dancer turned all around entertainer. He is on a hit TV show and back with the company that started it all. Mr. Bellos is represented by Babes'n'Beaus Model/Talent agency. (Illinois/Georgia).

In 2006 H2H had a single titled "Waka Go Down" which was produced by celebrity superstar Artist Runtown a massive song in the early days, and in his then unofficial music album he had songs like Psykolomental, Ololufe, and Chinelo." In 2009 he pulled up another big one titled "Am a Millionaire and Fast Lane.” In 2010, he released another party, Banga "I like D way," but due to financial challenges facing most upcoming Artists and lack of sponsorship, the songs could not be promoted. In 2017, H2H teamed up with Sophia Cin, a female Haitian/American MC/Rapper, to cook up a Hit song titled Cucumba (Prod. by Bigtymerbeatz) in Nigeria, Africa and is gaining massive airplay in the US, Haiti, and Nigeria currently. He shows tenacity, courage, and determination to surpass his challenges with signs of massive air-plays his latest songs #Cucumba and #Whineam are gaining. H2H says he has a lot of songs in his archive waiting to be released, and he is eager and keen on writing more songs. H2H is working on traveling to the US by 2019. Let's watch out for him as he's on his rise up to the top.

I am also the Executive Producer-Creator of the nonprofit online reality series, Chicago Talent, that has showcased tens of local stars for free, reaching over 80,000 viewers in its first year, with a strong 5-star rating from the audience, receiving rave reviews in the press. As I continue my journey to compete for the global title of Miss World Nation 2020, I plan to increase my work significantly. I spent days trying to figure out how I was going to summarize my community service efforts and get them all to align in some kind of story-like format. I wanted it to fit perfectly into this binder so that turning each page was like reading chapters from a book. But then I realized that my charitable endeavors are more than just a piece of me that could be stretched to a thematic ending. They’re my life. There is some things I partake in each and every day. So, I followed my heart and just went with the flow. Thus, I want you to think of this as more of a journal than a portfolio because I feel that adding that touch of intimacy and personal thought behind my work will make my submission that much more relatable to whoever is reading!

The stair way to paradise. Building a new step every day-----GUY

Guy Spagnoli Cinematographer / Director

Red Silk Carpet Awards Finalist

Long ago in Chicago,

Guy Spagnoli

was raised by his mother

and grandmother on the Northside of the city. School, their little black and white TV were his insight into the world. He sat for hours viewing what TV shows were on at the time. When he was 9 years old, Guy would travel on the Belmont Ave bus to the subway. On Saturdays and Sundays there were matinee shows for one dollar per movie and cartoon. Guy was a Dreamer. He would watch all these films and wonder how they were made. He visited the theaters so often the management would take him backstage and into the camera booths. He was a learner and did not forget. Time passed, and on Christmas Eve in 1966 a draft notice arrived. Thirty days before his induction Guy took a trip to Disneyland. Walt Disney died six months before his arrival. While on that trip Guy asked a cast member, "how do you get to work here"? The young lady said, "attend college." He never forgot her advice. After Guy was inducted, he was sent to Viet Nam. He never stopped dreaming of creating films for families. His officers thought Guy had a different way of viewing situations. He was able to stay alive and eventually returned home but not without multiple hospitals stays. During his last hospital visit, he met Bob Hope, Ann Margaret, and Chris Noel. He came back after discharge to an America that had changed. And like today, not for the better. Guy worked at many jobs while attending night school one class at a time. There was no GI schooling. That didn't happen until 41 years later. Guy always had a camera and shot with a supper 8, then VHS. In 1994 after multiple applications, a hiring scout called Guy and interviewed him over the phone. The call was from Walt Disney World. If he could arrive there by Monday morning, he could start work. It was a new adventure. Guy worked at many companies and met many famous people, but this by far was the best thing to happen to him in his search for a career. There were times after work he would visit different areas of the parks on property and watch and ask questions. But on a fateful day in 2007 a call came from his wife in Illinois. Guy talked with the bosses at Disney. Their reply was, "you are always welcome to return." "We know family comes first." After being hired seven times in many positions at Disney. Guy knew this was the last time. After returning home to Illinois, work was hard to find in 2007. But movies were being made in the Chicago area. Guy picked up work in the film industry as a movie stand-in and as an extra. Films like Public Enemies, Dilemma, Little Fockers, Contagion and FX Powers. During that time, the VA system gave approval for Vocational Rehab for Guy. They realized Guy had never been given his GI schooling benefits. During that time Guy worked at the front desk at Hines VA Hospital.

https://youtu.be/_XAuurEQ2J8 In 2010 Guy enrolled in Columbia College in Chicago. His major was Cinematography going back to his dreams of someday making family-friendly films. It wasn't easy. He was the old man or “pops” as the other students called him. But the professors respected him, and the students learned to love him. Guy completed four years of schooling in three. Currently, Guy has two First Place awards on short films and is working on several more. Another film student, Brent Bandemer asked Guy if he would be interested in being the subject of a documentary film. This completed documentary is called Keep Moving Forward, the title was derived from one of Walt Disney's frequently used quotes. This documentary explores how Guy’s love of all things Disney helps him to cope with a diagnosis of PTSD, which he developed in the years following combat in Viet Nam. Since his graduation in 2013 Guy has been to the Oscars 4 times filming and interviewing people of the Arts in California. He is frequently known to say, To live is a Great Adventure.

Supermodel Sandra Zemaityte In Search of Absolute Beauty

by Saif Rahman Sozib

International beauty contest winner Supermodel Sandra Zemaityte was invited to be a jury in Indian's top model show. Soon after, she was spotted in one of the most significant beauty events, Miss Polo International 2019. She charmed all the fashion loving people & jury by her true majestic beauty with brains, way of talking, and sense of positioning. She has received many offers of International brands after becoming Miss Polo International's success and she is preparing herself for the next steps in Hollywood! Her conversation with international fashion journalist Saif about different issues are as follows: 1. What is that one thing that you wanted to do since childhood but still remains unfulfilled?

My grandmother worked in an orphanage. When I was little, I would often join her to talk and play with all the kids. I saw their burning desire to be like me, to be the child who gets to go home to their family. So I made a promise to myself to provide care for at least one child once I start a family. This dream is still alive today but remains to

be fulfilled as I haven’t started a family yet. I know that making sure an adopted child never feels less loved or appreciated than biological children it is a great responsibility. I also know that adopted children are likelier to become victims of bullying at school, so facing a number of psychological challenges is inevitable. However, they are in no way less deserving to grow up in a family, feel love and support, and be taught how to deal with stressful

situations. Things they are unlikely to get growing up in an orphanage. If every family that has a chance to open their doors to an orphan did do so, then we wouldn’t have this number of orphanages. No one thinks what it would be like to be in their place. Surely being a part of a family and having a home would be your most prominent dream.

The Distance Between Dreams and Reality Is Called Doctor B by Saif Rahman Sozib

Known as Doctor B, Op. Bülent Cihantimur, MD, is a world-famous aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has more than 20 years of experience and owns a membership of ISAPS (International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery). With his scientific-based innovative works, the famous surgeon has become a phenomenon in Turkey, Europe, and Middle East and he has brought new methods and different perspectives to medical science with the techniques he developed. Doctor B takes it as his duty to raise people’s awareness of aesthetic surgery and help them access easily the

information. He has also eliminated the aesthetic concerns of people who attended TV programs with “new lives” theme and enabled them to change in a short period. Saying that his aim is always to create more happiness, Doctor B cares about the inner peace of his patients and defends that the aesthetic surgeons principally contribute to self-confidence.

“I consider this profession as an art. Scientific art! That is why I consider the results as an artwork.”

By using media, press, and internet and attending many events to raise public awareness and show people how to get help from aesthetic surgery, Doctor B has the chance to show his unique vision to the world, and he has reached many patients internationally.

Because he doesn’t repair, he designs. Also, he prioritizes the comfort of his patients with the techniques he developed, and he has created a breakthrough with key innovations such as “without surgery, without a trace of the incision, shorter recovery times.”

Doctor B Techniques Developed The most distinctive attribute of Doctor B is that he primarily considers himself as an artist who loves his job, rather than a surgeon.

Join us now midway into the second part of Scott Crossfield of NASA. In 1955 he joined North American Aviation as a test pilot and design Consultant on the X-15 rocket-powered research plane. He flew 16 captive carry and 14 free flights in the X-15, reaching Mach 2.97. Some would argue just over Mach 3 actually, but his orders were to keep it under Mach 3. I never could get a straight answer out of him. The X-15 was part of the family it seemed, the younger sister who got all the attention. On flight days, he would sit in the cockpit all day until it was time. When the contract for the X-15 went to NASA, it was hard for him, but he never showed it, he just kept putting his left foot in front of his right and marched on. Life beat him up just as it does all of us, but

through it all, he remained a strong, kind man who knew his own humility. He was a wonderful man, but as all of us do, he had flaws and troubles. He was awarded the Harmon Trophy in 1960 and the Collier Trophy in 1961, both by President Kennedy. Through it all, my mother never showed fear, she’d say he knew what he was doing. In 1967 a new job with Eastern Airlines took us all to Miami, Florida, that was hard on all of us. But, it was also full of new experiences, new home, new school, new friends, new everything. We had a pool, and I would swim 100 laps a day. Our house sat on a lot on a canal, so my dad had a boat, and my brother and I had a tiny sailboat. I learned to sail and to waterski. It was fascinating to be able to go to a friend’s house via sailboat using the canals, or out to play

Something happened in my parents’ marriage, there was a lot of tension, and my mother moved out of the master bedroom to a room of her own. It was 1972 when his position with Eastern Airlines took us to Northern Virginia to a home 20 miles northwest of Washington DC. My oldest brother and sister stayed behind in Florida, and another brother joined the Marines leaving the last three of us to our new home in Virginia. My mother remained in a room of her own. Please join us again in our May issue to continue the moving lifestyle of Scotty Crossfield, a dedicated flight hero.

ABOUT An event press photographer, and media. A Nikonclub06 Cannes. I was born on November 24, 1954, my Sicilian origins. My material: Nikon d800 and a Nikon d7100 Nikon lens 70-300 viri. Nikon 24-12. Nikon24-70. Nikon 80-200mm 2.8 Sigma 28-70mm 2.8 flash SB_800 I developed a reflection on the notion of the limits of the photographic frame that will later lead me to use video in which nature, the animal world, the 'Homme will be presented as a disturbing element of the perfect balance of filmed images. These experiments will lead me to the themes of photographic intimacy and the relationship between the production and the destination of his images. These notions will never leave my work anymore. "Very quickly, I feel that the images that I produce invite me to go beyond the mere representation of the real and urge me to look beyond what they show. Aware that photography gives me the opportunity to maintain a privileged relationship with others, I get closer and make my work substantially documentary, the pillar of the intimate narrative of a human and collective adventure. I opt-in all that I undertake for the sincerity and frankness of the emotion. While many photographers remain distant, cold and ironic, I aim to stay emotional and establish strong communication with the individuals and landscapes I photograph. Over time, I sacrifice the discourse of unique images and strive to heal the editing of my photographic series. I dig deep into the themes that I approach, enter a silent photograph, immerse myself in places that surround me, and synchronize me to the rhythm of life of people I meet. Jabala, as mentioned In the cuneiform texts of Ras Shamra, Gabala as Phoenicians called it and Jableh as its name arrived to us. The Artwork “Gabala | Alley of the sea” is such an initiative to invite the residents to figure out about their old town, as well as the municipal council to maintain it, keep it physically clean and enrich it with urban furniture. In addition, the Artwork is a perspective of how it would look if we took care of the old town, according to the lowest costs possible.
