Carolina De Athey Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival and Maserati Sandy – Carolina! Wow, I love the photos. Thank you for giving us the Exclusive. So, tell us about the photo shoot everyone is talking about. Carolina Sandy! Thank you so much for having me. OMG, I am so excited about making the Cover. You are amazing! Congratulations on Red Silk Carpet Magazine once again! Well, about the photo shoot, it was a very interesting experience because we had to shoot on what I call a” live set.” So very different than a studio session. Sandy OMG! Sounds intimidating. How was that? Do you mean everyone watching you? Carolina Yes, right! You do have to be on your game because basically everyone is watching you. So, it is like a live attraction, but it was awesome! Sandy How did the concept come about? So, you shot Maserati and a couple of other brands correct? Carolina Yes! I, Aizhan Ligh and Ify Jones, had a few photoshoots during the Las Vegas Food & Wine Festival which is run by Barcelona Enterprises. Barcelona Enterprises produced all the Campaigns featuring brands they have been working with. Pretty Awesome Concept!
Sandy What a Brilliant idea! This is just so great! What a vision and you look amazing my dear.
Carolina Thank you, Sandy! Yes, it was and is funny you said vision because the man behind all of this is Alan Semsar who is a visionary. We call him The Shah here in LA. Lol. Sandy Now that is a stitch! Well, I saw the Maserati video, wow! The message is brilliant. I want to buy one tomorrow and babe those photos are so sexy! Carolina Lol! Who would not want a Maserati? Such hot cars, I would want one too. (laughs) Sandy, you crack me up! If you are saying the photos are Sexy, then I believe you. (laughs‌) Sandy I love it! Everyone should watch that video. Where can we see it? Carolina It is on IG on various channels and on my YouTube channel, but I am not sure where Barcelona will publish. Alan is a box of surprises. The Campaign will focus more on the print, so we shall see. I know it will be published on Vegas2LA and other mediums. Sandy I saw the Barcelona adds featuring Ketel One Botanical and Aniise Skin Care & Cosmetics. As you know we are running the adds. What a beauty! Carolina Yes! Thank you so much. You know what? We got to work with an amazing photographer Shawna Henrie. She is very talented. Super happy to work with such creative people. They were so open to ideas and that makes a lot of difference in a very good way. Sandy Well, my dear, I am very proud of you! Any plan for the Holiday Season? Carolina Thank you, Sandy. I really appreciate your support. I am super busy this season. I am working on a couple of projects more related to acting which I cannot yet share and may have to work during the Holiday Season, but I will take some time to relax. Sounds great! Thank you for the chat and I hope you get to come to Chicago soon Carolina. So looking forward to visiting. We will need to throw a party. (laughs)

Renee LangSchweikle My name is
and I am an internationally published creative director and fashion stylist based in Chicago, Illinois. Six years ago, I took a big leap and became a business owner and started a mobile boutique called Discover Mélange. Discover Mélange offers vintage fashions and home goods which I have curated from all over the world. Being a sole employee ran business I must wear all the hats. I am HR, Marketing, web development, stylist, buyer, inventory manager and much more. Doing it all was quite overwhelming, but it opened my eyes to how much l enjoy styling the various looks for those modeling fashions for the website and social media outlets. That was when I knew not only did I want to focus on developing Discover Mélange, but I also wanted to focus my time creating photo shoot events and offering my fashion stylist services to other creatives looking to expand their network
reach, business and portfolio. While discovering how to become a business owner, I was also discovering who I was as a young adult. I promised myself that I was going to spend the last years of my twenties working hard and pushing myself to learn as much as I can, even if it was out of my comfort zone. During that time, I volunteered for many years providing business development services for the rehabilitation process of the Roxy Theater located in Lockport, Illinois. I was the creative director for a city sponsored music and arts festival, as well as collaborated on a street-wear fashion line. It was not until then that I discovered how much I greatly enjoy working with other creatives on projects surrounding the arts and that the events I directed were all great successes. As I became more confident in my capabilities and those of my support group and network I decided to start taking on more of a production and creative director role all while still focusing on Discover Mélange.
As a creative director I am most known for the unique locations and establishments that I host my photo shoot events at. I have had the honor of shooting, with written approval, at; Chicago Magic Lounge, The Pink Squirrel, The Venetian Las Vegas, MGM Grand Las Vegas, Antique Taco, Music Box, Dellwood Park and many more. This past September my team and I were the very first production team allowed to host a photo shoot at the old Joliet prison. This is the same prison that is seen in Blues Brothers and Natural Born Killers. It was such an honor and a life changing experience. It has led to adding new members to my production team as well as created new partnerships and relationships for those involved in the event. I am still smiling from ear to ear just thinking about what an honor this was. I have dreamed of shooting at the prison for many years and because of my professionalism, persistence, concept, and drive, I was able to make this dream a reality. I am really excited for what the future holds, not only for myself but for those that I work with. I truly take pride in helping others. The services I provide consist of: creative and event director, fashion stylist, talent management as well as marketing and social media campaigns.

Project ‘We Live And Remember in Color’ Mission Statement. Project "We Live And Remember In Color" ground breaking mission is to unify the awareness colors of health and humanity in one ribbon. Our objective is to stress the importance of knowing your color. Knowing your color is the key to mind and body support, disease prevention and humanitarian assistance. Because people give most to what matters to them, project "We Live And Remember In Color" intends to showcase events in collaboration with other organizations in fundraising efforts toward the many "Colors" that affect us all.
Mission statement Dr. Quinton de’Alexander “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing” -Helen Keller No better quote expresses the philosophy of the exciting and avant-garde designer Dr. Quinton de’Alexander. Living in New Orleans, an area rich with diversity and culture, Quinton’s curiosity about the clothes and how they were structured was recognized by him and supported by his family at an early age. At eight years old, he saw a sewing machine at a local garage sale and asked if he could have it. Thank goodness for the world of fashion and for those of us who benefit from that world, that young Mr. de’ Alexander was not denied. Quinton began by teaching himself, through trial and error, how to make things. At a rate belying his talent and imagination he saw his first creations within hours of setting up his new “toy” -perfect potholders- an event that sparked the journey of his life’s vocation. Day after day he would feed his newfound passion and sit at his Singer sewing machine and recreate garments that he had studied. Without any patterns or formal education in design, he worked at the concept until he got it right.

Mark Justice shares. I’m so pumped for this to arrive so I can put it up as a reminder to stay inspired. A month from today, 7 years ago, I packed up, leaving my hometown of 450 people (McDermott, Ohio) and My 2nd home Downtown Circleville Ohio, to move to Las Vegas with no idea of what I was getting myself into. Never had I dreamed of being in the entertainment industry. With the spark of a question from one person, my interest piqued, I thought to myself, new beginning....why the heck not? So I researched. I read books....and then I auditioned....my very first audition ever, and landed a life changing role. I only look back to reflect on how I can make the future better, for myself and those who are where I was. From this small town bumpkin I say...stay inspired, stay motivated. Find it. You won’t always have it within yourself. Surround yourself with others who are hungrier than you. The only dream too big is the one you’re not chasing. Dreams are living entities that continually grow, and if you’re not hunting it down, the beast will become too big...it will outgrow you, and become your predator. Don’t let it hunt you down. Find your pack...strategically pursue the dream...take it. Sending much love tonight. P.S. one of the biggest members of my pack is the Main Man Upstairs. He’s the leader of my pack.

BEAUTY TIPS FOR ALL This is a gorgeous time of year and we need to use the colors of the earth to enhance our natural beauty. It is easy because it is mostly all colors of nature as the leaves start to turn Golden yellow hues, and cranberry, & reds, a lot of taupe's & browns with crispy leaves falling on the ground. So how can we go wrong with the Naturals? You cannot!!! They work for all skin tones! Everybody can wear earth shades and tones. This season is a lot of metallics and glitter, to push a bit of Glam into the Natural looks!! Here are some tips. 1) Foundation is always applied 1st. Use minimal amount for this time of year. We want to enhance glowing healthy skin! Try not to apply with heavy coverage. *Best in my Celeb case is always Armani luminous silk found. 2) Use a bronzer to fill in where the summer tan is fading away. Just apply liquid foundation for a more natural glow. Great one is Urban Decay Beach Bronzer. 3) Then apply a Cream stick in areas you need more coverage. Or using a good concealer can work as well for problem spots. 4) Dust on a good translucent powder all over with a slight bit of shimmer in the powder for more glow!
5) Cheeks use a beautiful cream blush
in russet, tawny colors for that dewy look like the J-Lo Glow! M·A·C Crème blend Blush. Use Earth colors everywhere. It is goof proof and the bolder colors come in on the Lips and eye shadows! This seasons colors- Lips-Maybelline New York Color Sensational in Cruel Ruby perfect for all skin tones 100% Gorgeous~ Perfect color for everybody & every occasion day or night. Love Eye Shadows-Alexis Vogel in Runway & Karma Velvet shadows at www.ravishingcosmetics.com 6) Lips are burnished berry tones looks so sensual! See Above Cruel Ruby Maybelline. Always enhance lip shape with a great liner pencil (NYX in Natural) to get that bow pouty without costs & painful injections. Top it off with a great metallic Gloss like_ Anastasia Beverly Hills Lip Gloss, Metallic Rose - 0.16 oz tube perfect !! This all works for daytime into night!! 7) For more dramatic night time looks just smoke the eye shadow out and add some Demi Wispies Lashes by Ardell mascara and you have arrived!! Ardell FauxMink Wispies Lashes, Demi Wispies BEST always in my Kits!!! Stay Bold Boss Babes!! Love, Alexis <3
