As a job, I already spin many things from nanny, attendant, waitress. But I never felt complete. My dream as a child was always to be on the catwalks. I always felt very attracted to the world of fashion. It was in the pursuit of this dream that I signed up for the Miss Latin Beauty Contest here in Italy, which I won in September 2019. It was imperative why I insist that when we believe in something and strive for it, we can achieve it. From there, I started doing some parades, lots of photos, and some advertisements. I am thrilled to be able to continue in this world of competition representing once again my beautiful Uruguay in the international competition ...

Miss Starlet Cuba by Saif Rahman Sozib My name is Jennifer Sanchez Aguilar, I am 19 years old, and I was born in Cienfuegos in Cuba. From a very young age, I began to show my artistic side. I've always loved to take pictures and watch people being photographed. So, at the age of 5, I started taking lessons and began to parade for small children's brands. At 11, I moved to Italy, to Rome, where I embarked on a wonderful sports career in volleyball, winning a gold medal at the regional level and allowed us to go to the national teams in the junior category. But I never stopped thinking about fashion and my dream of becoming a model, so I participated in many small competitions that made me win many prizes and a little "fame.“ Thanks to this, in 2016, they started calling me for the most influential fashion shows in Rome, for advertising campaigns, photo shoots, and TV programs. In 2019 I participated in the look of the year where I won the international final in Malta. From that moment, I started to participate in the fashion weeks in Rome (Altaroma). For Spring / Summer, the collective message from designers concerning jewelry is Go Big or Go Home. We're talking larger-than-life necklaces, oversize hoops, and statementmaking earrings with an asymmetrical twist. What's more, sculptural shapes are set to be your new go-to "statement" piece, from collar necklaces to molded earrings. And for classic tastes, pearls are continuing into Spring / Summer in a modern form with creative twists.

Jewelry trends might not change as radically from season to season as much as clothes, bags, and shoes do, but the designs for Spring/Summer 2020 is Vibrant and Colorful. Eco and Earthy Friendly jewelry are still very much a thing this season. There are also new trends in the mix like geometric shapes, bright statement earrings, necklaces, and bracelets. Yes, "diamonds are a girl's best friend," but designers proved that natural, accessible materials like beads, stones, rope, shells, mother of pearls and simple metals are just as gorgeous... and totally worthy of your eyes. Chokers are back for Spring / Summer 2020. I'm not talking about the fine delicate chokers of a few seasons ago, which continue to be worn layering staples. These are statement chokers –hard powerful statement pieces that curve around the neck and scream for attention. Friends Big! Big! Big is the style for 2020, and Less is More is my Mantra for the upcoming seasons. http://monashroffjewellery.com / http://monashroffjewellery.com/ jewellery-fashion-show-in-hong-kong/.

NON-STEREO TYPICAL MODEL by: SpeciàlK My view on the fashion world has changed throughout time because I was able to listen, learn, and observe what was around me. My 5-year-old perspective on fashion was just looking pretty, starving, and trendy. At 24 years old, my view on fashion has changed because I took the opportunity to be involved with the fashion world. I never viewed myself as a model because I was an allaround athlete and loved to get messy and aggressive, yet that never took away the fact that I was still a lady and certain things I had to take care of like my hygiene, skincare, and hair maintenance. Once I started getting into more fashion shows and photoshoots, I noticed a lot of unique models from different backgrounds, cultures, short, tall, large, skinny, natural, and so forth. There’s barely any space to be shy in the fashion world, but there are still some models as such trying to find their place, and I genuinely didn’t hesitate to help and assist in helping anyone be the best version of themselves. What’s the purpose of modeling? Is it about putting on clothes, walking down a runway, and taking a few pictures? I unlock that little girl inside playing dress-up having fun, and when
I get dressed in the morning, I dress confidently from the soul and not for the world. The same feeling applies when dressing for the runway because the clothing is not what draws the audience; it’s the confidence you present while wearing whatever item you tend to be modeling. That aura alone reaches out and grasps the attention of anyone who is watching. At that point, it doesn’t matter what you look like because you are confident within yourself, and people feel it. Nobody is the same, and some models are going to be different and bring their own shine. Whether you are a model, designer, photographer, host, stylist, makeup artist, or videographer in the fashion world, just remember what my father told me while playing sports that, “When you are not practicing, your competition is.” Therefore, if you are not practicing to better yourself in your craft, then you will evidentially be outworked by your competitor, and your most significant competitor will and should always be yourself. So aspire to break the stereotypes within the fashion world and be the best version of you, humbly, modestly, and unapologetically.

FESTIVAL DE CANNES CORONAVIRUS - The postponement of
the Cannes Film Festival "is no longer an option" on the table, according to its organizers. Unable to postpone to late June-early July due to the health crisis linked to the coronavirus, the event could, however, take new "forms" for its 2020 edition.
"It now seems difficult to think that the Cannes Festival can be organized this year in its initial form." They agree on the fact that the Festival (...) must continue to study all of the eventualities allowing to accompany the cinema year by making the films of Cannes 2020 exist in one way or another". It will not be able to be held until at least until mid-July.
The Cannes Festival's general delegate, Thierry FrĂŠmaux, had swept the idea of a digital festival last week in an interview with Variety: "For Cannes, its soul, its history, its impact, it is a model that could not work."

Thylane Léna-Rose Blondeau, is the daughter of Véronika Loubry, former television host. She started a model career very early, at the age of four. In 2005, she paraded for Jean Paul Gaultier during Paris Fashion Week 2,4. She was photographed in 2010 for a supplement to Vogue Paris magazine. This photograph is controversial; young girls are dressed and made up. In March 2014, she made the cover of Jalouse magazine 6,7,8,9. She is the face of the Swildens Teen brand for the spring/summer 2014 collection 10,11. In September 2015, she posed for the magazine Teen Vogue 12,13. The same year, she released a capsule collection with Eleven Paris. She created, in collaboration with the brand, clothes for their line for children, with part of the profits donated to the Make-A-Wish 14 association.
In December 2015, she appeared for the first time in a film, Belle and Sébastien: The Adventure Continues, in which she has one of the main roles3. This experience allows her to acquire greater notoriety, which leads her to climb the steps of the Palais des Festivals during the Cannes Film Festival 2016, as the muse of L'Oréal2,3. She then poses on the cover of the March 2016 issue of L'Officiel 15 magazine. She is the face of the Paul & Joe Sister campaign, Sophie Mechaly's brand, for the spring/summer 2016 season. She is one of the "small" models, and she measures 1.67 m. © Red Silk Carpet May 2020

Maubra Foster was born and raised in Evanston, IL. I have resided in Skokie, IL, for the past 30 plus years. I have been acting for the past 4 years. I'm a Registered Nurse (18 years) by day and a Chicago Actress by night. I started out as a background extra as a Real Nurse on Chicago Fire in March of 2015 and then branched off to Chicago Med, Chicago PD, and Empire. After a year, I decided to take some acting classes and workshops to further my acting passion. For the past 3 years, I took acting classes with Antoine Mckay of Mckay Arts, who is known for his role as Bunkie on the hit show Empire. For the past 4 years now, I have played in numerous short films, movies, and independent films; alongside some well-known celebrities. A few short films I have acted in are Orphans of God (2015) written by Jayson Bernard, Black Coffree (2015) written by Raul Colon, and a pilot called Craytopia (2016) in various roles. I was in the Widows (2018), written by Steven McQueen and starred Viola Davis & Liam Neeson, where I played a Choir member. I was recently featured in two Chicago pilots called Proven Innocent as Assistant State Attorney, and The Red Line as a
cop. I'm currently playing a detective in a web series called Happy Birthday, which is written and directed by Antoine Gomire. I'm also playing a commander-general in another web series called Sub life, which is written and directed by Nick Andrews. I also landed the role of a commander in another movie filming this summer. I just finished filming another movie called Radio Silence, written and directed by Jon Brunson. I recently produced my own film called Entrepreneurs earlier this year. Furthermore, not only do I wear the hat of an actress and an RN, but I am also the producer of my own talk show called On The SCENE. On The SCENE is an internet-based talk show which was launched in March of 2018. It airs every Friday at 7pm live on our On The SCENE Facebook page and Instagram page, where the show host Racheal J White interviews a variety of Chicago Talents. The show was created to give fellow artists, actors/actresses, film directors/producers, entrepreneurs, singers, authors, etc., a platform to promote their work and talents. We not only conduct live interviews, but we also do red carpet interviews and media coverage at movie premieres, plays, & other events.

A wise woman asked me: How to braid your hair..if you are handless? How to find your place if you are homeless? Hello again: I think it’s 7 o’clock, and my thoughts are walking beside me. No one is here, God forgot me alive and killed himself ! I’m here above, opening the drawer of prayers and thinking about you. Hello again: I’ll see you soon Maybe not today But after 17 moon I’ll tell you “hello again “ So close your eyes don’t shed another tear... Hello again, “ I’ll say it next year... Maybe in a child smile,, maybe in a butterfly,, So wait for me .. cause I’ve never said I’m leaving! I’ve never said “Goodbye “ Hello again: Look down and see me... I’m here in the sand... Look at the left... I’m here, waving my hand... I’m not in hell I’m not in heaven... I don’t know if it’s My new wonderland!
Hello again: Don’t Stand at my grave,, there’s nothing to save,, So Please don’t cry,, Stand, breathe, smile, and try : tell me a joke or to tell me a lie. Hello again: I’ll see you soon , maybe not tomorrow But after 17 moon I’ll tell you hello again... Maybe in a poor fridge... Maybe on an empty bridge... Maybe on a bad night... Maybe in a long fight... Maybe in a Syrian face... In a love, I can’t replace,, So wait for me,, Cause I’ve never said I’m leaving I’ve never said goodbye. Hello again: There is a funeral in Damascus It’s the “March to the sky.” Take off your wings now… No need to fly… Listen and sing my favorite old sad song: We’ll never reach eternity... We were never meant to stay,, So close your eyes don’t shed another tear... I’m here above laughing with No more fear... A wise woman said: There was a funeral in Damascus... But Damascus didn’t die..! E l i s s a r A h m a d W r i t e r & R a d i o

During this time, I had the opportunity to take part in numerous films including “The Great Beauty” (2013, Oscar for Best International Picture) and “Walking on Sunshine” (2014 film produced by “IM Global” featuring Annabel Scholey, Greg Wise, and Leona Lewis). I had my US debut starring in an Italian musical, “Rugantino,” at the “New York City Center” in 2014. I permanently moved to New York in 2016 and have been collaborating as a leading artist, singer and showman in the Italian American Community in New York and have taken part in off-Broadway theatrical productions. Some shows that I have starred include “Carrie the Musical” and “Treasure Hunt.” I have also collaborated with event organizers and music productions as a choreographer and artist.

My rendition of Judy Collins singing Send In The Clowns a song written by Stephen Sondheim for the 1973 musical A Little Night Music, an adaptation of Ingmar Bergman's film Smiles of a Summer Night. It is a ballad from Act Two, in where the character DesirĂŠe reflects on the ironies and disappointments of her life. I originally did this piece circa 1990 and would occasionally add or change a detail or two on this painting over the years. Yet I was able to finalize this image; and this is now the most current rendition. Ed Morales deselarom@olypen.com
