An indefatigable fellow and incomparable Artist, Annie Cordy shone during her sixty-year career. A reviewer at the Lido from the age of 18, this illustrious singer recorded more than 600 songs, appeared in some 40 films, and performed 10,000 galas. In 2019, at the age of 91, she received the prize for female interpretation at the International Entr' 2 Marches Festival organized alongside the Cannes Film Festival, for her fine performance in the short film "Les Jouvencelles" by Delphine Corrad. Tips To Wear Statement Pieces by Saif Rahman Sozib

Jewelry is an essential part of what you wear. Whether it's a casual dayout or an elaborate party day, wearing accessories that go best with your outfit is a huge plus point. Though mixing and matching works, specially selecting your jewelry for the day, actually makes you stand out of the crowd. What's more frustrating than picking out the perfect outfit?

Trying to pick out the perfect jewelry to go along with it. One of the best ways to wear them is by taking your basic outfit and turning it into a dressed up trendy look by merely adding a glamorous and bold, detailed statement

necklace. Also, statement necklaces are suitable to style with many kinds of necklines because they can bring dimension to your outfit. It's great to have choices, but too many can turn dressing into something dreadful. If this sounds familiar, don't think for a second, you're alone! Women all over the world are stuck in this predicament every week– –if not every day! Jewelry is the staple of the ensemble, so why not make informed decisions when you accessorize?

Here's how to coordinate jewelry to the fullest:

© Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

CALLING FOR ATTENTION sometimes, you just need one piece to make an impact, but that piece is a big one! Someone who puts on a huge gold collar necklace or a chunky giant gem ring transforms themselves into a beacon of intrigue. When you want to stand out, you reach for your statement piece. A lot of the time, your first real paycheck is spent on a big splurge. Consider picking up a piece that tells the world you're ready for anything. Big chains, Semiprecious stones, Chunky metal bracelets, and daring mixed metals are the best choices to pull off this bold jewelry style.

FUN AND FUNKY Are you attracted to lots of colors and oversize jewelry? You've probably got a great love for life! You can't walk around with multicolored bangles and mismatched dangling earrings without a smile on your face. The person who can pull off this jewelry combination is Confident and has a cool and Funky style. SPLASH OF COLOUR The all-black outfit is always a good idea because it is a classy, timeless ensemble that could be styled easily. Simply add your necklace with colorful elements, and you have just created yourself a very distinctive look and a necklace that will be easily noticed. Compared to necklaces that have colorful components, the monochromatic statement necklaces are great for colorful outfits.

Many of us like to keep their clothes lively all year round. Therefore the single-colored necklaces are a perfect add-on to your bright and joyful outfits. CLASSIC PEARLS The most favored all times classic pearl necklace is excellent for an ultimate high-class sophisticated look with a modern approach. To add a modern touch to your outfit, simply grab the trendy clothes that can best match with your lovely pearl statement necklace and classy pearl earrings, and you are all set up! Forever Timeless! COLOUR BLOCKING This is my favorite - color blocking is a popular way to wear more than one bright color at a time. Many women steer clear of this trend, as they are afraid that it won't be flattering on their bodies.

Website: http://monashroffjewellery.com Instagram: Mona_shroff_jewellery LinkedIn: Mona Shroff. Facebook: Mona Shroff Jewellery / Mona Shroff.

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

I recommend starting with two colors when using the color blocking trend. For those daring individuals, try two contrasting colors that will make your jewelry stand out for a more subdued look. These select colors complement one another, such as a pink and red or a blue and purple combination. Color balancing is a critical aspect of ensuring that all items have equivalent pizzazz or attractive vitality combinations. For example, if you select a pastel shade, the remaining hues should be within the same depth of color. Mixing bold colors and pastels rarely work. These bright colors are sure to compliment your skin tone and make your outfits appear even more fashion-forward.

Artem Timchenko International model & world beauty pageant coach by Saif Rahman Sozib 1. Artem, how did you decide to become a model?

I have been involved in professional sports since I was three years old. And when I was invited to the first shooting in Moscow, I felt that modeling and sports are related, the strongest wins. 2. You are very bright looking. Perhaps this is your trump card at the casting?

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

3. What was the funniest incident from the shoot.

It is a short story for the rest of my lifetime. St. Petersburg taught that it is more important for a photographer to have very good shoes than a perfect camera. There are no options for the model - there are tasks, and their solution is the most important thing. There were 14 hours of shooting, and more than 30 looks in different pairs of shoes, 2 sizes smaller than mine. The result was the following: calluses in the blood, painkillers do not work, it was utterly impossible to stand on your feet for 3 days, the contract was in your hands as well as premium allowances from the designer and the customer of the magazine, the joy that sports training is alive and we can do the impossible!

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

4. How long does it take to get to model Olympus?

You can have a phone and a white wall with which you can do snapshots by yourself. Or you can study at a model school for a long time and participate in photo projects but have nothing at the same time. It all depends on your personal decisions and corrective actions. No scout will notice you if you don't do anything for it. Castings are a carousel of luck, and it is in your best interest for this carousel to stop at you! Then the doors are closed for the rest, the casting is announced to have taken place, and the most exciting thing begins - work with designers and photographers. 5. Fashion show or shooting? Shooting, because in one outfit and in one location, several stories

can live in you that will replace each other in a matter of minutes. These stories can live on because they are baked forever.

success! No designer or photographer wants to work with a boor.

6. You are a very cool, beauty pageant coach. How does this experience help in modeling?

1) Your body is your face. Gym and healthy food control.

My colleagues may not understand me correctly, since modeling and beauty contests are entirely different polarities of the design and beauty industry. However, I have long ago learned for myself several similarities that can unite these different directions: Focusing on goals and working out important details to achieve an important result. The psychological health is the path to success in modeling and even more so in a beauty contest. Development of 3 qualities: humanity, contemplation, and good nature + 50 steps to your

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

7. Top 3 tips for a New Face male model.

2) Self-development is the engine of the process. Studying the material on photographing in any available form: books, magazine articles, the Internet, etc. Photoposes training in front of a mirror every day. Gradually translate your practice into a shot, at least a phone, work out the poses in a minute. 3) The world is your friend. Participate as much as possible in modeling projects across the globe, it will open the door beyond your imaginations, develop you more! The main thing is that it will lead to new acquaintances and new contracts!

Born in Italy, the very pretty Italian caught my attention with her beauty and pretty ebony black hair. Five years ago, the model was nominated for Milan Fashion Week, for the youngest Model in Italy and Europe when she was only fourteen. Good luck to this young Italian girl. Become a star model in Fashion Magazines. Recognize the value of this beauty and make it known in the fashion world.

CANNES 1944 2020 the Cap d'Antibes DCA crashed into Croix-des-Gardes after having flown twice at low altitude over the city center and dropped most of its crew (2 killed, 3 prisoners and 5 missing in the sea).

Main dates of the Liberation: The Bombing of the AnthĂŠor Viaduct on June 6, 1944

August 15, 1944: The landing in Provence; the Germans, at 4.30 p.m., blew up around twenty mines in the old port. They did not blow up the lighthouse because they needed it, but the Albert-Edouard pier and Place Massuque were seriously damaged. Every day, alerts and bombings take place on the Croix-des-Gardes, the Croisette, the old port, and the factories of Bocca. When, in Nice, the Germans shot 21 imprisoned resistance fighters, in retaliation for the disembarkation, the massacre of other Gestapo prisoners took place in Cannes at the Villa Montfleury.

August 18, 1944: all traffic is prohibited; the population demolishes the walls to try to get supplies. The Allied warships were off the coast: the Croisette and the Palm Beach, as well as the Villa Corne d'Or (Croisette), were damaged. Shells were raining down randomly in the city.

August 23, 1944: There are very few Germans left, they have fled or deserted; the telephone exchange of the post office Mimont is neutralized.

August 24, 1944: Liberation of Cannes by American troops, who arrive via the Bocca,CANNES.

M

y name is Shankar Bagalooru. I have been working as a teacher in a government lower primary school for 12 years. Books that inspire me to read magazines and newpapers, travel, play chess, all my hobbies, and watch good films worldwide. I dream of making my school a beautifully modeled school as a schoolteacher. There are 50 children in my school today from grade 1 to 5. Every day all the children come to school. Teachers give

their needs by parents or on their own learning will be done without any shortage of children and also conduct text and extracurricular activities. Also, I teach children about interest, such as playing chess, drawing, making models, putting rangoli, etc. So, once in two days, the children are also taught general knowledge. Our school children have also received first prize in general knowledge. We also conduct 20 classes every year for a better

school to go to the next level. So sometimes Sunday is also going to school. We also hold competitions for children at national festivals such as general knowledge, chess art, running, and rile hartals shooting. The goal is to make the school a smart school. We also teach drama in school, dance, take the children to different places every year. We teach in the same way. We show YouTube birds and show them good pictures.

W

e encourage children to do different kinds of albums (animal’s album, bird’s album) and encourage them to ask for their own quiz and reward them for their small achievements.

We also give children a variety of storybooks to read and allow children to show their writings. Painting, Cinema, Drama, Photo exhibition Yoga is also taught about health.

We do various ministers work in school parliament salvation for the children. Children do their work well (ex-prime minister, health minister, food minister, play minister), school adorns national festival; every event is done well.

As a teacher, I am not able to attend school because of COVID19. So I will teach the children from home to school and send them to write on WhatsApp. Then I go home to study the content I sent on WhatsApp, I will check and give them to read and write different things and take them to the environment whenever necessary. Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

T

beautiful home that makes the child interested in coming to school. I teach school and paint, care for plants, watering trees, clean the school, clean the garbage. Thru this, we have built the school into a second home for a beautiful child. The villagers help the school, and hence they are honored with a small gift. Teachers participate in the community program with great interest. The Department of Education also helps the school as much as possible. We provide the child with the department and the community's help to do various activities such as drawing, writing, and playing. I teach children a variety of interests, not just for lessons.

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

The department has congratulated the inner will foundation club for my schoolwork and awarded the nation Builder Award in 2018. The school has a beautiful playground, a beautiful classroom, a proper toilet, good drinking water, adequate play equipment, and a sufficient school wall with useful lesson tools.

Miss Progress International 2021 will return to Puglia next spring. by Saif Rahman Sozib

Castellaneta and the lands of the star of the silent films Rudolph Valentino will host the Ambassadors of Progress from 21 to 30 May. CASTELLANETA (TA) - The organizational machine of Miss Progress International-Women for Progress, the only event in the world that features women of all ethnicities, religious beliefs, and social backgrounds thanks to their commitment to the Environment, Health, and Human rights, restarts. For ten days, from 21 to 30 May, the international delegations from the five continents will be engaged in the discovery of the territory of Castellaneta, the birthplace of the excellent start of the Twenties' silent films Rudolph Valentino, and on excursions to Bari, Matera and the enchanting Itria Valley. Giusy Nobile, president of the In Progress Cultural Association, which holds the event's rights worldwide, and Giuseppe Borrillo, director of the competition that reaches its eighth edition, presented a sixty seconds teaser announcing the new dates (video: https://youtu.be/SU1EyUDK_uQ). It is not new information that pageant queens have to do charity. Without charity, the phrase "Beauty saves the world" has no sense. To be a real beauty queen, you have to be beautiful inside! Katrin Synenka, after her great experience in worldwide pageantry, decided to try herself in the local contest Miss Lviv 2020.

Congratulations on the new title! Please tell us why you chose to participate?

Thank you so much. The main target of this participation for me was a presentation of a social project. Each girl has to represent her own charity project. The best project gets the title Miss Kind Heart. Also, due to COVID-19, I missed so many different events and contests. What about your social project? Which kind of charity do you want to do?

With my partner and friend Mrs. Planet 2019/2020 Angela Andreyevskaya, I created a charity project, Light up the Star. The idea was born three years ago. This program's main idea is to teach underprivileged children and orphans how to do catwalk, posing, acting, choreography, etiquette, and charity for free. Photo credit: Personal archives Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

Those children that are without parents need the most attention and love. After this program they will believe in themselves and their future. When do you plan to start studying for poor children?

We hope to start the realization in September 2020. At the moment, there are repair works in location for comfortable studying. Furthermore, we need some help with the completion of the City Council. So your project was the best at the contest among other girls? As a result, after I presented the project at a contest, I won the main charity title - Miss Lviv Kind Heart 2020. This title will help for my team to realize Light up the Star! Thank you so much; you are beautiful and kind! Our team wishes you only the best in your projects! Viktoriia Bakai Modeling /Makeup artist by Saif Rahman Sozib

Hello, Victoriia! We admire your beauty and talent. 1. How do you compare work in front of a camera as a model and behind the camera being a makeup artist?

Before becoming a model and Miss, I worked with Chameleon Model agency a lot as a makeup artist, so I was always in the process of shooting models, and I got some knowledge from this period for myself. Experience helps you to sit on the two chairs at the same time (laughing). 2. We know you have a diploma in teaching Ukrainian and English

languages. Did it help you with modeling?

Yes, I graduated from a pedagogical university 3 years ago, and I cannot deny it helps me a lot all the time. In modeling, it is very important to connect between model and photographer. If you want to work in Ukraine, it's enough to know Ukrainian, but you have to learn English if you're going to work abroad. In this case, I was successful. 3. We also know you are a contestant of a modeling contest, and you took part in a Beauty contest. Which one did you like more?

Yes, I took part in a

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

Beauty contest, "Miss & Mister Planet 2019," held in Georgia. I won two titles – Miss Planet Ambassador and Miss Planet Press. It was my first real Beauty contest, except "Miss University" in 2014 being a student. In the right way, titles can give you many opportunities. As for modeling, it's a much creative process. You can change your styles, mood, energy in case of a purpose. You are engaged in a life of shootings, designers, fashion shows. It's a significant advantage.

© Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

4. Can you tell us about your start in modeling?

Of course, as I explained before, I was a part of a Chameleon Model agency team for some time. We went for so many work trips and contests with models and Miss. And once upon a time in Portugal during the modeling contest, I heard such words: "Why aren't you with the contestants. They are going to take a picture. Aren't you a model? But you look like one." I wasn't a model, just a makeup artist, and it was great to hear such a thing from a jury of that contest. At that time, I thought, "why am I not?". It was the beginning. 5. Fascinating story. It's like making you look for your powers from another side. What about the title of "Miss Planet 2019"? What did it give to you?

That was the contest that gives me an understanding of what to

Š Red Silk Carpet Sept Oct 2020

be a Miss means. Before it, I didn't know clearly what it was. Being a "Miss Planet Ambassador 2019" and "Miss Planet Press 2019," I have a great responsibility in front of other people, kids, contests, and of course, followers in social media. I am in the process of creating a project for people's weal, but I cannot say more about it now. I hope I will be successful with it. 6. Good luck to you from our team in your project! It's so important to do good things at this time. The next question is your Top -5 countries you would like to visit.

Oh, 5 is so little (laughs). Ok, I will try to name the most desirable. So, it's Cambodia, Peru, Cuba, Spain, Greece. 7. The last question is about friendship in modeling. Does it exist? What is your opinion?

I heard a lot about the hostility in modeling. But I cannot give an example from my own life. I became a model in my Chameleon Model agency. We lived different and sometimes challenging times together. We are like a family. This is the merit of our National Director and owner of Chameleon Models – Angela Andreyevska. Who is like a sister / mother, for all of us. There is no place for any dissension between us. We work together on different projects, always support each other, and are ready to help in any life situation. I don't know about other modeling contests and how it is going, but I hope I will soon. As you know, I am a contestant of the Best International Photo Model 2020, so I hope I will take part in Finals in Portugal.

My career has developed by practicing and participating in different cultural and artistic events and internships. Social has a significant impact on the way I have been developing my work.

5. How do you cultivate a collector base?

My most effective strategy for connecting with collectors has been to communicate enthusiastically about the work and ideas that I appreciate, highlighting (but not limited to) my own. It has also been essential to understanding the collaborative role that I play with the collectors and funders of my work; I think of myself as needing their interest, support (financial and conceptual), and ideas to do the best work I can. As I am a little uncomfortable with classic "sales," I don't try to do that. I play to my strengths to build these relationships in a genuine and long-lasting way. 6. How do you navigate the art world?

Actually, Social Media

great medium for navigating. It makes communication and interaction easier, even though my Instagram account is my own online exhibition. 7. How do you price your work?

I price my Artwork by considering medium charges, time of work, and originality of work. 8. Which current art world trends are you following?

I am following the new street art / conceptual art combined with contemporary trends. 9. Arab ladies still searching for their freedom of thought and living according to their own way. Your paintings could give them some sort of thinking of freedom, or as a creative person, do you have any liability to change society & change the peoples' perception

towards females?

This is a great question, freedom! Yes, I guess that's the way I called myself as a FLY ART. I believe that my art experience should be without any limits. I don't see myself as a feminist or feminine active in society. But as an Arab artist, I try my best to show more than Art, and the creative field can touch souls before minds because I am working on sensibility it's an emotional field that includes women and men at the same time. But if we talk about freedom of thoughts and the positions of the female on the Arab, we are on 21 century, and I think we now talking more about equality between genders.
