It has been a little over 2 years since our beautiful journey as Amore'

Beautiful You Salon began.

We have taken many turns, spent time in some valleys, and learned some valuable knowledge along the way. The salon was birthed through a childhood dream and a calling from God I felt strongly within my heart.

Many women have visited and left, thinking a little differently. Some have come in broken, sick, and found healing and hope.

While others were facing the toughest trials of their lives and just felt supported in those moments of uncertainty.

We have truly been given a gift. As hairdressers, we have the ability to build self-esteem, restore what many women feel is gone forever, and just perk up a gloomy day or week.

Our image is so important. The very reason I wanted to do something different. Part of a mission statement is; inspiring women to dig deeper. We believe true

beauty starts within.

How we see ourselves is a direct connection to what we carry within our hearts.

Most women struggle with inner woundings, silent illnesses, substance or sexual abuse, low selfesteem, stress, and worry they aren't ever going to measure up.

Ads, commercials, and Hollywood has taught us to put some lipstick on the mess, and no one will know. To truly empower one another, we need to get into those hidden areas (especially those we want no one to see).

There is such a story within each and every scar we bear.

Your testimony comes to life; full of power and purpose when you share it with those around you.

Someone needs to know all you have gone through, so they see the light within their struggle.

The salon is set this July to be paid in full.

months with the wrong number on the sign, and as we all know, 2020's Coronavirus left the beauty industry nonessential, and our once filled chairs sat empty.

God told me an in 2019, our salon's debt would be paid by the end of year 3.

To say my faith has been tested in this area is an understatement... I know our guests faced tests of their own through this season as well.

It was once said to me, "anything not growing is dead." I have strived since then to see areas I was stagnant in and push myself beyond it. So far, it's paid off. Within a typical day of business, we have witnessed stories of babies coming back to life after they were stillborn, women praying through assault, asking for miracles, families reconnected, Repressed memories returning so they could be talked through. Many discovered the loss of their own identities and reconnected with themselves.

We have witnessed single moms who were homeless find housing and received 1st and last month's rent to move as a gift, as well as everything needed to make that house a home. Various illnesses healed within our walls. The unbeliever found hope in a very real God and a sisterhood that has developed outside of the salon that binds each one together.

The greatest gift we have been given while we walk the planet is one another. It keeps life interesting. I found if I'm present in each moment, even if it seems impossible, change still occurs.

So why not try?

Small steps forward a re better than no steps at all, right?

Pinup & Rockabilly Jessica Naomi Marshall & Jolene Kunde So, I did a thing… When I was messaged by a long-time dear friend and local business owner about being an ambassador and model for a new set she was pulling together, I could not pass up the opportunity when I found out the theme… Pinup & Rockabilly!

Since I can remember, it’s been my signature style/look, and I have always been obsessed with the era, the music, the glam, etc.

Let me tell you about my gal, Jolene. She took me, and at the time, my 2 children in when I was going through an incredibly rough patch in my life many years ago. My midlife crisis, if you will. She forgave me for mistakes I had made then that jeopardized our friendship and bond.

She has always been an encouragement, and light, and sincerely touches lives!

She is outstandingly talented in everything she does. She has an eye for those minor details and finds beauty everywhere.

We had an absolute blast capturing these moments together; I would do it again in a heartbeat. It's always been a lifelong dream of mine to do an Old Gangster themed photoshoot as a Photographer. The smoke in the alley backdrops, old model cars, and of course, the vintage clothing. After speaking with celebrity photographer Jerome Lynch about a similar Peaky Blinders Themed Shoot he was putting together with a few models. I knew this could be my chance, along with being photographed with other models.

I've recreated myself from photographer to model,

and the chance to shoot on this level is a Dream Come True!

We Had so much fun at Jerome's Studio that day.

Meeting the other models for the shoot for the 1st time, you'd think we'd known each other forever.

My name is Sophia, I'm 17, and I'm from Ukraine, Lviv.. I was selected to participate in the Future Fashion Faces World 2021 competition in Antalya, Turkey.

I am very grateful to Angela Andreyevskaya, the founder of Chameleon Models, and National Director, for the support and help and to Katrin Sinenka. and the best photographer, Yara Jaroscha dedication, and perseverance motivate me to achieve high results.

Also, I want to thank my parents, who are role models for me.

Of course, organizing the competition took me a lot of effort, especially

because it was my first experience.

Personally, for me, the competition began when we all entered the hotel.

We used to get up very early to put ourselves in order: we washed and styled our hair and did make-up (I'm incredibly grateful to skilled makeup artists Khrystyna Voitkiv and Lidiia Matliuk), then we had rehearsals and breakfast.

The participant of this kind of competition should always behave with dignity. Rehearsals sometimes lasted all day.

The atmosphere at the competition was really friendly.

Restaurateur Rajeev Bhasin started his career in the hospitality industry with the Taj group of hotels in the '80s. In 1991 opportunity brought him to Hongkong, and he started working as a manager in a reputed Indian restaurant, "Gaylord." After that, Rajeev was unstoppable, opening almost a dozen dining and entertainment concept restaurants everything from an Australian steakhouse, oceanside brasserie, finedining Italian Cucina…to a casual Vietnamese Café.

There literally seemed no limit to Rajeev's talent and determination.

In 2012 Rajeev started his own company and opened three of his own highly successful restaurants across Hong Kong.

"Tamarind," a delightful pan-Asian diner blending the flavors of 'Sianam' – Thai & Vietnamese "Namo" – Avant Thai highdining at its finest and "Gunpowder" where freshly prepared Indian dishes are served with a sexy, modern twist.

Rajeev explains his inspiration - "The Covid pandemic has made me look ahead to work towards satisfying the changing demands of Hong Kong

diners. Especially the millennials who are used to frequently traveling to the world's top destinations for food, wine, and adventure, due to the pandemic, are restricted and unable to experience new cultures and cuisines.

An all-time favorite has always been Spanish cuisine. Still, tastes and demands are elevating.

We're looking to create a Modern Mediterranean cuisine ("Mod-Med") that will feature the Spanish culinary basics and touches of foodie influences from across the Mediterranean coast – France, Italy, Greece, and perhaps even North Africa.

Rajeev's newest venue, "Quiero Mas" ("I want more"), has cobalt blue and warm-wood-hued interiors by the uber-creative Hernan Zanghellini. Diners will enter the penthouse-level main Dining Room through a warm and inviting cocktail lounge where they can select from the regional wine and champagne carte, Spanish G&T concoctions, and one of 'Barca's best' brews on-tap. Perhaps even a Grappa aperitif and a complimentary pintxo at the bar before dinner.

Alain Zirah and Anne Gomis, in co-production with Riviera First Events, invite you to the OFF DE CANNES ceremony which will be preceded by the Garden Party on July 14, 2021, in the Palais Clément Massier, on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, during the festival of Cannes.

The ceremony will reward the winners of the Great International Web Contest. It will be followed by a Color Dancing After party. The event will be rich in entertainment, Fashion Show, musical show cases, performers, signings by writers, lyrical artists, DJ sets, VIP Corner ... during lunch and cocktails.

Alain Zirah is a multitalented artist, photographer, writer as well as director.

Having been awarded several times, holder of a Who's Who Worldwide 2015 Awards in the USA. He has also received several awards for his works, in particular, the 2016 Art Freedom Prize for his novel Blood on the red carpet received in Paris and the Prize des Femmes de Lithé Litho at Le Castellet, in 2019.

In 2020, he received two London Awards presented at the WOW AWARDS, including Best Artist 2020, for his multiple talents as an artist. He joined the Family Films Awards in 2016 with Dr. Olympia A. Gellini, then became a co-producer and member of the World Film Institute in 2021 (Beverly Hills).

Anne Gomis joined the team in 2011 by creating the Great International Web Contest. Co-producer and manager of the OFF de Cannes, she has a rich background in the organization of events, in the musical field, and the world of the Arts. She obtained for the group IAM their label at Virgin and the first part of Madonna.

He has always been immersed in events with his mother, Helene Gomis, an organizer of multi-ethnic musical evenings in Marseille. We owe him the Miss Black then Miss Night competitions (17 nightclubs in competition) and the reconstruction of Marseille at the Château des Creissauds. Co-director and co-writer with Alain Zirah of the feature film Forbidden Visions (2013), she has been co-producer of the Family Films Awards since 2016 with Dr. Olympia A. Gellini. Then became a co-producer and member of the World Film Institute in 2021.

II. GOALS For 15 years, the OFF de Cannes has been helping artists, facilitating their meetings with professionals to whom they will be able to present their projects.

The OFF de Cannes brings international visibility to these artists. After having revealed them with the Grand International Contest of the Web and highlighted them during their ceremony in the most enormous palaces, the OFF de Cannes accompany them until their dreams are realized. Our mission is to explore Talent in an International Arena and Live the Dream.

III. THE GREAT INTERNATIONAL WEB COMPETITION This competition, which is added as a device in the OFF de Cannes to choose the most efficient and avant-garde artists in each artistic discipline: cinema (directors/actors), music, dance, writing, fashion (stylists, models, photographers), Fine Arts (photography, painting, sculpture).

With a jury made up of professionals such as Max Howard (producer of The Lion King), Alain Reeves (composer at the 35 Awards), Jay Shindell (SFX supervisor of Steven Spielberg), Steven Nia (SFX for Avengers Endgame), and many others, more than 9,000 artists were highlighted.

A committee proceeds to the preselection of 3 artists per category. The selected artists will then be presented to the jury for the final selection. The winners are presented and highlighted in the most prestigious places, such as the large salon of the Intercontinental Carlton in Cannes, the Majestic, and now the Palais Clement Massier.

Maria Jose Minguez, also known as "MJ Minguez," was crowned as "Miss Princess Of the World Spain" in June 2011, representing her country and competing internationally at Miss Princess of the World in Prague, capital of the Czech Republic with more than 60 countries. She made it to the finals, in Between the Top 9, as one of the biggest favorites worldwide.

She aspired to be the Spanish representative in Miss Universe in 2019 and got the 4th position in the national finals.

She is the 3rd finalist of Miss Multiverse 2020, and she was also crowned as a "Miss Alpha Female 2020" in the Dominican Republic.

Maria Jose Minguez works as an international model and recently took acting, yoga, and natural holistic nutrition courses.

Some Top brands she has worked for: Eucerin Middle East, Guess, Sephora Middle East, Smashbox, Mac Cosmetics, Emolyne Cosmetics, Bvlgari Shows ("Its Festa," in Dubai, December 2017), RNB Arabia, Layl parfums, Red Tag, Maria Lafuente (Spanish Designer, "El Corte Ingles," "Next," "Oppo Egypt," Janira lingerie, Vacheron

To be honest, it's really Depend on the day I like to sleep and rest enough. A day without a great sleep is a missing day as we can't live it with the proper intensity... So, if I have early shooting, I wake up before even 6am another day. It varies but most essential to make sure I sleep far away from what time I wake up as every day Is different.

never leave my home without a face mask for sure! And I would add to this "must-have": my phone, lip balm, and a bottle of water. I like to always feel hydrated, in and out, plus our phones are like a 3 in 1!

MY BEAUTY ESSENTIALS INCLUDE… No secrets with beauty essentials: eat clean, discover, and get to know which food feels better.

Peace of mind (meditation) and a happy heart are my essentials beauty kits.

I would also add to those essentials the Eucerin cosmetics (I really love their variety: vitaminCBooster, hyaluronic acid spray, and serum) and, as I said before: Rest enough!

MY BIGGEST FASHION PET PEEVE IS… In general, my biggest fashion pet peeve is mixing winter fabrics with summer ones. I don't find it comfortable at all, and I don't feel it really matches.

MY FAVOURITE TRAVEL SNACK… PROTEIN COOKIES / BARS, especially right now I'm in love with the "Lenny and Larry's cookies chips" (chocolate flavor, of course!).

IF MY DAYS HAD ONE EXTRA HOUR… If my days had one extra hour, I would meditate more and take extra time to relax and listen to myself and for sure to get in touch with everyone I love around the globe, and I can't always contact them.

ON A TYPICAL SATURDAY NIGHT, I… I usually watch Netflix (or at least this year, more than ever, ha-ha), also I like to have different dinners of what I eat the rest of the week. I like to enjoy Saturday nights with my beloved ones.

THE ARTICLE OF CLOTHING I'M CURRENTLY WEARING MOST… Sports, I love how the sector industry has been developed. It's how comfy I feel when I wear sports clothes and how beautiful and cute, we can look nowadays wearing them.

I'm especially addicted to sneakers!

MY BIGGEST FASHION REGRET IS… I don't have a big fashion regret ha-ha, but to be honest, when I was a child, I kept a little spinate the first time I got communion because I wore a beautiful dress chosen by my grandmother, but I preferred another one.

I can't complain that her

choice was elegant and classic, but I still wanted another dress (ha-ha-ha).

WHEN I'M STRESSED I… I might eat chocolates and sweets in general, that I might don't eat the food really much all day. My mother also says that she knows when I'm stressed because I keep scratching my hair.

WHAT I LOVE MOST ABOUT MY COUNTRY IS… Honestly, what I really love about Spain is the geographical situation as it's excellent any time I take a flight either to America or the Middle East, for example.

We have incredible weather all the year and many different city options to visit and live in, and I also love their beautiful Islands and Beaches.

And, of course, the Spanish breakfast and food!

All of those are equal for me! Love, love, love!

THE BEST ADVICE I EVER GOT… "Focus on improvement, never in changes."

Change is really hard, but we can always start by improving ourselves day by day; later, changes will come.

such an inspiration human for this world, and she helped so many people to live happier, healthier, and she guided so many others to improve and even heal their diseases.

With meditation, positive thoughts, and due to the hard times, she went through, she developed so much knowledge, and she's been an inspiration for overcoming.

My favorite place to shop is…

My favorite place to shop if referring to a City for sure Dubai, Tokyo, London, Paris... I Think big cities in general when we're talking about high-end brands.

Otherwise, for some other stuff, I like to buy things when I'm in my country in my town Orihuela, Torrevieja and Alicante capital because this way I support local shops and small businesses.

Miss Multiverse is a personality contest and reality tv show. The contest is going into its 9th year now. The next edition Miss Multiverse 2021, will again be filmed at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic in November/ December this year.

I am 15-year-old Rivyn Lua-Je’. I started modeling when I was 9 years old and walked in my first fashion show in 2015. Just a few months after that fashion show, I was New York-bound for NYFW, where I was able to walk in two fashion shows.This year I was signed with MMG-International Model, Talent, and Celebrity Management New York. I am so excited to see what will be coming next and in the future.I have to thank my family, friends, and the person that started it all for me, my mentor Mikayla Pekala. Also, RCCI for blessing me as their Youth Model of the Year 2018!Since starting, I have lost count of how many shows I have walked in. But I remember all the designers that gave me the opportunity to walk in their creations. Many are still in my closet as I

cannot part with them.

Maybe someday I will have a little girl that can wear them.I have been on my first and so far, only but hopefully not the last billboard with Young Detroiters Sports Wear. I love being one of the faces of a line that is for everyone.As well as modeling, I am on a competition dance team.

This is my 10th year competing. Dancing since I was 3 and doing every genre offered to me has been a blast.

But exhausting at times too. Because of COVID last year and this year have been so different. Last year we only competed once before lockdown. From there, it was virtual, talk about weird. We have made it to finals for the previous 6 years and made it again this year.

We will be once again defending our National Championship title that

we have won 5 of the 6 years. Wish us luck as we finally get to go back to the regular way they are held in person, and we are able to interact with other teams.In my spare time, I am a typical teen. Sleep late, do schoolwork, spend time with my friends, and love a good horror movie. Oh! I like to try new recipes I find on TikTok. Some have not turned out too bad.What does my future hold? I really don’t know right now. I wanted to be a pediatric surgeon, but I have decided that is not for me after all. I would love to still work in the medical field and be able to help people.

Maybe a 9-1-1 operator.

What I do know is I want a family someday, a long time from now.

Until then, I plan to take each day as it comes and see what tomorrow holds.
