BIANCA GRACIE |GRAMMYS/APR 3, 2022 10:30 PM Lady Gaga transformed the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas into her own personal jazz lounge, as she performed Love for Sale highlights "Love for Sale” & “Do I Love You" at the 2022 GRAMMY Awards. It came easy to the pop icon, as she’s no stranger to the Sin City stage (her Lady Gaga Enigma + Jazz & Piano residency at MGM Park Theater began in 2018).
The performance served as a tribute to Gaga’s Love for Sale (and longtime) collaborator Tony Bennett, who announced his retirement last year as the
95-year-old is currently battling Alzheimer’s disease. Though he couldn’t be in attendance, the jazz legend opted to virtually introduce his latest partner-in-music.
First channeling her inner Judy Garland, Gaga performed a glitzy rendition of the album’s title track. The performance then got more somber as the singer paid tribute to Bennett with “Do I Love You," as clips of the pair recording and performing together played onscreen. It was a naturally touching performance, with Gaga getting choked up when looking at the 95-yearold’s hand before hitting her final note. Gaga was already a winner

before she stepped on stage: Love For Sale won awards for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album, NonClassical at the Premiere Ceremony earlier in the evening. The album’s single “I Get A Kick Out Of You” also earned nominations for Record Of The Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video. The album itself also scored nods for Album Of The Year and Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. Check out the complete list of winners and nominees at the 2022 GRAMMYs. Popular Designers From All Over Europe on Serbia Fashion Week
Spring edition of Serbia Fashion Week will be held from April 26th to 30th in Novi Sad. At two locations: the Novi Sad Fair and the SKCNS "Fabrika", the audience will see many fantastic fashion shows, exhibitions, seminars and accompanying programs. The most popular designers from Serbia will present their new collections, but also from the region of the former Yugoslav republics and countries from all over Europe. During the evening of the grand opening of Serbia Fashion Week, part of the "European Capital of Culture 2022" project this year, will be a fashion show by Slovenian designer Sanja Veličković. It comes from the city of Ptuj in the former Yugoslav republic of Slovenia. “Looking back, I can say that I was born to create my dreams and make
others happy. Soon, the wish became reality and in 2009 I opened my studio in Ptuj. I started creating under my brand Sanja V Design, with tagline - Wear your dreams!
I was always different, unique, loyal to myself. I had first independent fashion show in 2005. I was creating dresses for beauty competitions, like Miss Slovenia, Miss Universe Slovenia, Famme Fatale Slovenia, Vine queen Slovenia, and Vine queen of Ptuj. In 2011, I had a fashion show and exhibition in New York. Since 2015, I created two dress collections every year and had fashion shows in Ptuj in towns around Slovenia.
In 2016, I took a new step I presented the Frida Kahlo collection at SFW - Serbia Fashion Week in Novi Sad. Since then, I am a regular guest at SFW, where my collections were also awarded. The awards were followed by invitations in Paris (live 2017 and digital 2020), Milan Fashion Week 2019, Kazakhstan at Aktau Fashion Week, Malta Fashion Week, etc.
© Red Silk Carpet™ April / May 2022
In short, between 2016 and 2019, thanks to the awards, I had the opportunity to present my creations around the world. I try to create my own trends, so uniformity doesn’t appeal to me. The goal of my clothes is to find the right person to wear it. For me, is important that wearer feels good in my creation. My design always offers functionality and comfort, so my customers don’t even think about throwing clothes away just because they are old and no longer “modern.” My collections are created spontaneously, everywhere, thoughts simply come to my mind. I put them on paper in a form of sketch, I choose appropriate materials, make cuts, sew. First, I try them on myself, then models wear them on fashion shows. After, they patiently wait in the studio for the right person to come around, to wear them, to wear their dreams,” said designer Sanja Velickovic.

In addition, the program includes interesting exhibitions, but also seminars where eminent domestic and foreign experts will speak. Day 1 Before the start of fashion shows, the President of

Day 2 The program continued with an explosion of creativity on the catwalk. Almost all designers have found inspiration for their new collections from the cultural heritage of the countries they come from, skillfully combining modern and traditional elements. The second night of Serbia Fashion Week was marked by original and impressive shows that were accompanied by applause.
At the very beginning of the evening, the collection inspired by the cultural heritage of Serbia was presented by designer Silvana Tošić. Her creations are a perfect blend of glamor and tradition, and the show itself was fantastically complemented by the sounds of traditional music.
Designer Katarina Vidović presented an elegant, modern collection inspired by Queen Victoria.
This was followed by a fashion show by Greek designer Georgie Chioni and her brand SkiN IT Fashion. Clothing pieces from this collection exude rock and punk. After that we watched a fashion show by Montenegrin designer Kristina Marović, whose collection includes motifs of folk costumes from all over the Balkans.
In the continuation of the program, the audience enjoyed the creations of designers Milica Tričković and Jelena Zorić, who combined their creativity to create a new brand, Lovely Apple. Their collection is innovative and explosive, the color they used brings serenity, but also a breath of extravagance.
In the last block of the second evening, the Swedish designer from Morocco, Imana Belmkaddem, and one of the most famous Serbian fashion designers, Marija

Sabic, presented themselves.
The collection of the creator Iman Belmkadem exudes her native Morocco, the fashion show was accompanied by appropriate music, as well as the choreography of the models.
“I used traditional winch fabric. This fabric is usually used in luxury decorations or traditional kaftans, and in this collection, I used it for a very modern wide jacket with Swedish design,” said Imane Belmkaddem. Hers fashion show watched from the front row Moroccan Ambassador to Serbia Mohamed Amin Belhaj.
At the end of this fashion evening, designer Marija Sabic presented her collection. The models wore elegant and glamorous models of delicate colors complemented by fluttering scarves.

Day 3 On the third night of the spring edition of Serbia Fashion Week, the audience enjoyed the fantastic creations of Serbian and foreign designers. We have seen collections rich in different ideas with cuts and fabrics, but what they have in common is that they skillfully combine the most valuable from the past with elements that belong to the future.
Designer Latinka Djordjevic opened the program, recognizable by creations that have no seams. She used merino wool and silk, which is why the designer sought inspiration for the design in nature. "I am inspired by a healthy lifestyle. I have always wanted to live in a completely natural way, which is why I created a collection dominated by handicrafts ", said Latinka Đorđević. After that, something completely different followed. The guest from Hungary, Anet Csizmazia, presented the collection she designed for the ZIA Budapest brand. The audience enthusiastically watched the fashion show
"The focus is on creating a more beautiful and better world. We make timeless and quality creations that will forever be a part of your wardrobe ", said the guest from Hungary.
In the second block of the show, we saw the collection of Dutch designer Carmichael Bifield, who presented clothes in a modern style that make innovative creations with colorful prints.
Designer Valentina Dukić presented her collection of glamorous wedding dresses, as if they came from a fairy tale. Models on their fists looked like modern princesses. Everything looked magical and fairytale-like, and the audience rewarded it with a big round of applause.
At the very end of the evening, designer Boško dominated the catwalk Jakovljević, who presented his new collection, which he designed for the Martini Vesto brand. In the first part of this great collection, we saw clothes of intense colors and prints, while the second part is more reduced and

calmer with the dominant black color.
Then, at the end of the evening, a fashion show by designer Jelena Malešević followed, which presented an extremely interesting and original collection. The futuristic, avant-garde design of her creations is different from everything we have seen since the beginning of the 19th edition of Serbian Fashion Week. A unique blend of past and future.
"The name of this collection is Time Less, which means its timelessness. I found inspiration in the prehistoric civilization of Vinča ", said Jelena Malešević.

promote mutual understanding and strengthen the sense of Europeanness.
The most important legacy of the project is to put culture in the very centre of social development and redefine culture as a key for economic development based on knowledge, innovation and creativity. Many capitals of culture took the opportunity to develop cultural infrastructure during and after the project, provide wider access to culture, improve the image of a city, develop the tourism economy and strengthen cultural and creative industries.
In 1985, Melina Mercouri, Greek Minister of Culture, and Jack Lang, French Minister of Culture, had an idea of choosing the European Capital of Culture once a year, intending to connect people in Europe and raise awareness of common history and values. The same year, the project was launched by the EU Ministers of Culture resolution. This initiative soon became one of the most prestigious events in Europe. Since then, more than 40 European cities have borne the title of European Capital of Culture. Each year, the selected cities are examples of the richness and diversity of European cultures.
