My name is Miyako Kuroda, the founder, and CEO of the Model Talent Agency of Chat Noir シャノワールのモデルタレントエージェン シー創設者兼CEOの黒田美耶子と申します。


Our company was established in Japan 23 years ago and has now offices located in Tokyo, Osaka in Japan, Singapore, and California. We have 22 years of consulting services in management planning, corporate operation in addition to modeling. There are more than 1,200 registered models, and now international models from 45 countries are enrolled to meet all client needs. I started the company at the age of 23, but initially, it was a series of hardships. But what I had was ambition and the sense of action and responsibility to move forward. In retrospect, I think that I have been running a company for 23 years. Of course, the American Lehman shock that happened more than10 years ago also affected Japan, And there was a big earthquake around Tokyo, and such a situation was a big blow to our event industry. At that time, customers, partners, and affiliates went bankrupt, and we struggled with debt.

However, now that we deal with over 100 clients every month and become a model office where 1,200 people are registered, it means that I am blessed with people. I may be a lucky owner who was born

with myself. I met a lot of people, and it was enough that many people helped me. People can not live alone. People feel and give love, trusted, and relied upon to be happy. If you are rich, you may be satisfied to some extent. If you can afford the money, you may be able to challenge the things you want to do or satisfy your desires. Women will be able to buy brand backs and wear diamonds. However, no matter how much you are satisfied, your money will not satisfy yourself, love. Human beings who live by thinking about loss and gain at the moment will always have a broken relationship.

I was lucky, so I received many loves from around me and taught me the importance of a loving life. A good business knack is, first of all, to act in love around yourself and to delight and fill the people around you. For what, for whom, and why should I succeed? I strongly want to be successful in my business because I want to make my family, my employees, my family of employees, models registered with us, clients, friends, and all around me happy.

これまでも沢山の人に出会い、仕事を頂 き、多くの助けを貰いました。 人は一人では生きていけない。人は愛を 感じ、与え与えられ、信頼しあい幸せを 感じるもの。もし、私が大金持ちなら、 物欲に満たされるかもしれません。

現在、1,200名以上のモデルが登録し、45 カ国の国際的なモデルが在籍しておりま すので、クライアントのどんなニーズに もお答えできます。

もし、沢山のお金があれば、やりたいこ とに挑戦したり、行きたいところへ行け たりと、自分の欲望を満たすことができ るかもしれません。 女性ならば、ブランドバックを購入した り、ダイヤモンドを身に着けたくなるの かもしれません。 お金も勿論必要ですが、いくらお金や物 欲で満たされても愛はお金で満たされな いことを私は知っています。

当初、私は23歳で事業を始めましたが、 最初は苦労の連続でした。 ただその当時は、私が持っていた、責任 感と野心、そして行動力だけで前進して いたように思います。若かったですから。 そして、気が付けばもう、会社を経営し て23年目を迎えます。 23年間は色んな事がありました。 もちろん、10年以上前に起こったアメリ カのリーマンショックも日本にある私た ちの業界にも影響を与えました。 また、関東では関東大震災が起き、イベ ント業界に大きな打撃を与えました。 リーマンショックの時も、震災の時も、 弊社のクライアント、協力会社や関連会 社が軒並み倒産し、弊社も大きな打撃を 与え、当時の弊社は借金まみれでした。 しかし、現在では毎月100社以上のクライ アントと取引が出来、1,200人以上が登録 しているオフィスである今を、改めて私 は、人に恵まれていると感じています。 私は、生まれ持って運がいいのかもしれ ません。

そして、利益や目の前の損得ばかりを考 えて生きてると必ず人間関係に亀裂が走 ります。 私は幸運だったので、多くの愛を受け、 愛に溢れた人生の重要性を周囲が教えて くれました。 そう、良いビジネスのコツは、まず、自 分の周りにまずは自らが愛を与え、周り の人々を喜ばせ続けることです。 何のために、誰のために、なぜ私たちは 成功する必要があるのでしょうか? 私たちは自分の家族、社員、社員の家族、 私たちに登録されたモデル、クライアン ト、友人、そして私の周りのすべての 人々が幸せになるために、私は強く私の ビジネスを成功したいと思っています。


Because we are supported, trusted, and loved by so many people, we have many business opportunities.

People alone cannot do anything. No matter how talented and genius every successful person has an encounter with people around self, and there is a success. Success in business is create a company that values people.

I think the success of the business is all about this. We will continue to fly in the world with the aim of being a company that values humanity. Of course, we had our ups and downs, for example, the recession in the U.S. in 2008 and the big earthquake in Japan on March 11, 2011, affected our business.


At that time, lots of events and shows were canceled, and some of our customers, partners, and affiliates went bankrupt, and we struggled with debt. What drives me to succeed in my business is Happiness because I want to make my family, my employees, model, registered with us, clients, friends, and all around me HAPPY. We have many business opportunities because we are supported, trusted, and loved by so many people.

To be a successful company, I feel the company should value people. I think the success of the business is all about this. We will continue to strive in the world to be a company that values humanity. Being native Japanese, English is my second language, so I hope my above message is clear for native English speakers. New challenge in USA! We recently opened the new office in California; Chat Noir Dispatch service. Our mission in the U.S is to do very well and succeed just as we succeeded in the Asia Pacific. I’m looking forward to doing a lot of business in U.S. However, such ideas were misunderstood only because they were from Japanese people, and there was a big fear that they could not do business with completely different cultures. Over the past few years, I noticed in contracting inbound work from not only the United States but also from Italy, France, Dubai, Shanghai, Thailand, etc., that the information was misleading. The world is beautiful and colorful with all nationalities. We will continue to strive and work efficiently in the United States while adding a Japanese style customer service flavor for all of our customers. Thank you all for reading about me. So much has happened since the first of the year, hard work, late nights, err mornings, with lots of creativity and fun. We are bringing the world together with amazing new talent through the efforts of our wonderful team. A special thank you to everyone for the research and editing and, of course, storytelling!

Photography is the biggest part of our enchanting color palate with eyes that sparkle with the excitement they pass on to us through digital and print. To our executive staff, thank you for making sure that all is done with finesse and charm. The largest team we have is our Facebook Friends, who cheer us on with love, likes and wow’s, thank you! Every day we begin our search for new and powerful connections to pass on to our readers. We started with eager hearts in 2008, and the rewards were astounding. Watching families grow is the best part, though, as special memories reflect in our minds of our own growth and succeeding. Katheryn Winnick is a Canadian actress, born December 17, 1977 in Etobicoke, Ontario. She started on television, appearing in many television series, before starring in the supporting roles in the cinema: Love without notice (2002), Love and Amnesia (2004), Playboy to seize (2006) and Amusement (2008) ). She is then known for her participation in the sixth season of the television series Bones (2010-2011), then continues her career in film, with feature films like Souls in Stock (2009, Kiss and Kill (2010), Love, and Other Drugs (2010), The Last Freed (2012) and Art of the Steal (2013).

Rami M Mouala Since l was a child l always liked the fashion field. l was very interested in drawing fashionable clothes and trendy designs then l took part in school plays because l always wanted to be a famous actor. When l entered the university l became very keen on fashion . So l intended to work in fashion agencies in Syria. As a result l became very talented in dressing models and statues. By coincidence l made a photo session with a photographer who encouraged me to do more and because l had the ability to show myself as a trendy model and a celebrity I continue down this path.

This depends on my career and character finally l hope to achieve all my dreams to be what l want to be... and work with the most famous designers and international agencies all over the world.

B E D I F F E R E N T, B E S T R A I U ’ Straiu’ is a registered Italian brand with Romanian origins. Ioana Samarghitan is the designer who turned her passion into a reality and business at the same time, making Straiu’ to be the first Italian Brand with Romanian motifs designs. It all started when she was very young, but we let you discover her story and the story of Straiu’ with the following inspirational interview. How did you discover your passion for fashion?

There are so many years since I’ve discovered my passion for fashion, it’s making me hard to count. I was about 3 and a half years old when I started to draw. And my way of play was to lay down and match pieces of fabrics, scarfs I dressed children and draws exclusively with “girls” I was creating on leftover notebooks of my parents. It was like “create a Paradise out of nothing.” This is how I was born! When did you put together your first collection, and how did it start?

The first collection “Straiu” was completed in 2018 for an important fashion festival in Romania. There were a unique feeling and endless happiness to see the support received from my hometown. This was for me (probably) one of the biggest joys of my life! What are you inspired by?

I get inspired by the Romanian national attire. By Romanian embroidery. I could talk for ages about this. But what you should know is that on every nation attire costume there’s not only embroidery but much more, .....there are stories, life stories, traditions for hundreds of years. When you look at a fashion show, what gets your attention first?

The first thing that attracts my attention is the degree of innovation. Basically, I look and search to find the same things I would also like to send across with my creations.


It doesn’t matter if the mother wants the fade to pink, the child wants fuchsia, but the joy their eyes are giving is priceless! I haven’t had many collections for children. However, this will change very soon. The dresses I designed for children do far brought both to children and me great happiness, enthusiasm, and motivation to continue! Why Straiu’? What’s the story of the name?

I am so happy you asked me this question. It has a beautiful story. Basically, I had everything ready: my mind was very clear what’s my dream and what I want to accomplish, the legal documents for the business were ready for submission, but I had no name in mind for my brand. More than 18 months, I was “searching” for the perfect name. I needed a short name but at the same time, a meaningful one to fully express my vision and my creations. One day, I woke up, and I had the name Straiu in mind. It was like a miracle. Straiu, in the Romanian language, is

an archaic word which defines the traditional attire, very famous in the are of Transylvania. This word was often used by my great-grandmother (from my mother’side) as I had the opportunity to spend my childhood near her. She was so dear to me, and I can’t believe how the inspiration came from “up there” divinely! Any successful brand is sustained by teamwork. Can you tell us about your team?

What can I say about my team....they are my family! Truly my family! It’s a family business where everyone has a contributing role, from the youngest to the eldest. My mother is a wonderful tailor, and my full trust goes to her (and her hands)! In the beginning, it was a bit hard, due to different visions we both had, but now we are guided by telepathy. We are a demanding team, meticulously, and detail oriented for everything to be perfect! Our artworks are mainly focused on uniquely! So, we don’t look at quantity, quality is what drives us!


Your collections are designed for both children and adults. What is the degree of difficulty to design for each of the two categories?

Children are very demanding, straightforward, they are pure souls who love colors, embroidery, and especially flounces. That’s why I often get my daughter’s advice, and this really helps! Children don’t like what the mothers are choosing for them, I am telling you this from my experience. You are truly a gifted designer. Your work is getting huge recognition worldwide, and you have also been awarded in the past months, including at the World Fashion Festival Awards in Dubai. How does it feel to see your efforts and passion being recognized and appreciated?

Although I’ve waited 20 years for my dream to come true, today I can truly say it was worth waiting. I am an emerging fashion designer. The brand ‘Straiu’ was launched last year. We’ve started with small steps and huge sacrifices, but with high hopes and enthusiasm. At WFFA SS19 I was

awarded at the category: Avant-Garde for one of the TOP 3 Best Dresses! Beside the Swarovski stones and traditional folkloric symbols, I have incorporated a part of my heart in my creations. Seeing my work and efforts being appreciated empowers me to carry on with my dream, with confidence and enthusiasm. I have been very happy, and I truly respect the Jury of WFFA for being able to understand my vision and give me the vote of trust for creativity and innovation! Being in competition with high-end and extremely talented designers from all corners of the world gave me more joy and pride to have won. Tell us more about your experience in Dubai at the World Fashion Festival Awards?

My experience in Dubai was amazing! I met different people from various cultures and mentalities, which opened my heart and eyes for NEW. WFFA was an amazing festival.


Being my second participation in a fashion festival (previously I have attended a fashion festival in Romania), I could make a comparison between those two, but I won’t share my opinion. All I can say is “hats down with huge respect” for the organizers of WFFA, who were every step of the way beside me and helped me fulfill my dream! There was nothing I missed, much more we received more than what we have expected, a huge team effort behind the WFFA! What is the ultimate goal of the Brand Straiu’?

The ultimate goal for Straiu is close

to the border of “impossible,” if I may say so. Many other Romanian designers have tried to integrate the Romanian folkloric symbols in modern designs, and afterward, they gave up. It’s hard, extremely hard because one needs to discover the heart of this concept, to understand it and then to adopt! I can assure you, once one fell in love with this type of style, there's nothing that one would want. It is mentionable that this is the first time a Bangladeshi has managed to head the prestigious body and that the honor returns to South Asia after 31 years.

Junior Chamber International is charged with the development of the Chamber movement and network in the Asia Pacific area. “Miss Europe World 2018” Climbs Europe's Highest Mountain for Charity Luissa Burton was constantly told that living with a chronic skin condition would make it impossible for her to ever pursue her dreams of becoming a professional model. Many thought that possessing such a visible disease in a world where perfection reigns supreme would only lead to inevitable heartbreak and discouragement. Now, to most, this hurdle may seem too high to surmount, but to someone like Luissa, it is simply another challenge she was determined to conquer. Luissa suffers from two chronic skin conditions--eczema and psoriasis-that, at times, can cover her entire body with a red blotchy rash. At its worst, even the simple act of walking down the street would often face her with such harsh critiques as being called a leper or considered dirty or contagious by passers-by. Despite the negative opinions of others, Luissa has made a choice to embrace her disorder as opposed to succumbing to social pressures and now wears her scars as ‘logos’ to her success. When asked about how she

is able to cope with this kind of appraisal from others, she responds, “turn your worst day into your best.” It is this attitude that has led to Luissas successful modeling career. After winning the Miss Europe World competition in 2018, Luissa knew that she wanted to take her newfound international platform and use it for good, and she also knew that she wanted to raise money to support others with skin disorders similar to her own, but didn’t know the exact method to go about raising the funds. One morning, soon after her crowning, she knew what to do. With the help of adventure photographer/cinematographer Aaron Shoemaker (Instagram: @wanderlost.productions, Facebook: @wanderlost, Holonis: @Wanderlost), Luissa decided that as her title was Miss Europe World, she would take her sash to the highest point in Europe, the deadly Mt. Elbrus in Russia, in support of The British Skin Foundations.


Being a long-time spokesperson for the foundation, it was a logical choice. Luissa is a very symbolic person. When asked why she would consider such an extreme undertaking, she replies, “It just makes sense. We all have mountains we have to climb, whether literal or figurative, and people need to see that no matter where you are in life, you can make a positive change if you’re willing to brave the climb.” Luissa hopes to use her story to encourage others to follow their dreams as well. Luissa Burton and Chloe Othen first met at the Miss Earth England competition in 2013. Chloe won Miss Earth England in 2013 where she went on to compete at Miss Earth. Luissa was Chloe’s runner up. Luissa then returned to the Miss Earth England competition in 2015 and won. They have remained best friends ever since their first competition because of pageantry. Many people think that girls are bitchy in competitions, but pageantry has built many life long friendships. In 2018 Luissa went on to win the international title “Miss Europe World 2018” and on June 28th, 2019 Chloe Othen won her international title “World Next Top Model 2019”. Combined the pair have represented England and the UK a total of 12

times internationally. This includes competitions in Albania, China, the Philippines, Ghana, Czech Republic and now Lebanon, to name a few. They both have competed for 10 years and show you what can happen when you NEVER GIVE UP! It is wonderful to see women supporting women. Great things can happen when women support each other, and these two friends are the perfect example. Bravo Chloe and Luissa!!!!!! She was a Miss University (pageant) in the Gyoungnam province in South Korea. In her 15 years in the United States, she has been a journalist and television personality in media, and a sought-after classical soloist for business, government (Illinois Secretary of State), community, fashion shows and the world at Millennium Park). She was the first bilingual reporter for the Asian American Network News (AAN) when the Korean-American Broadcasting Company (WOCH, CH-41) launched the network in 2005. With a heart to further peace and global brotherhood, Yesoe delights in using her musical talent, teaching, composing, modeling and public speaking and service abilities to enrich ethnically diverse community gatherings for world peace. She was an honorary correspondent for the City of Busan (2012-2013) and worked at the Busan Tourism Association where she had an opportunity to work for the co-sponsored event with the United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). Currently, she is the administrative assistant (hosting interreligious engagement events) for the Center for Religion, Culture, and Community at DePaul University. She has many leadership awards. Hilda Falati is a Romanian based

fashion designer with an Italian heart and an eye for couture. Her love for couture & the fashion world started earlier in life, but it’s only until recently that she managed to fulfill her dream of becoming a fully-fledged fashion designer. Back in Italy, she attended various highend fashion &couture courses, as well as pattern making and embroidery techniques which helped her develop a strong personal sense of style. She launched her eponymous brand: Hilda Falati Couture in Spring 2016.

Napkin Rings By Mona Shroff Mona has diversified her designing into Household area for the very first time. She says that even dinner table settings can be made classy and exclusive with her accessories. She preaches by her Brand Mantra LESS IS MORE in everything she designs and creates.

Mona got this idea of designing Napkin Rings when she was attending a Destination Wedding and didn't know what to gift the Newly Wedded Couple. It had to be something for both of them which they could use it for a long time and remember her. That is when she saw the displays of cutlery on the tables and decided to create something exclusive which was not restricted to anybody but would make any displays or table settings look classy.

Mona thought over her ideas for a few days before she started putting her sketches on paper. It was a whole different venture which was exciting but needed a lot of technical details. She wanted to maintain her brand image, style, and design as it had to match the Mona Shroff Collection.

She started initially with 7 designs of various styles of Napkin Rings with 18k Gold / Rose Gold and Rhodium plating. All her rings are HANDMADE in Brazil with Semiprecious stones as per her brand Trademark. Mona says that when any guests come home for dinner, they should feel special and these Napkin Rings will fill the void and complete the look of any table settings.

She has specially designed Gift boxes for 6 napkin rings to fit perfectly in its compartment. It is a perfect gift for Diwali, Christmas, House Warming, Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, and Special Celebrations. She has kept the prices very reasonable and affordable so that everyone can enjoy them.

I am Johanna Monti, Make-up artist freelance in France and Creative designer make-up, trainer and make-up artist for the brand Boho Green Make-up. A French brand, based in Lyon. I create collections for this brand and make up for it. My days are not like that's what I love in my job! I also sublimate the brides of my region, makeup celebrities for events, I also love makeup for fashion Editors!

I work 6 to 7 days a week, but it's more than a job, it's a passion, I vibrate for my job. My projects are to grow the brand for which I am hired, bio is increasingly trended, but it’s us to modernize, I am very proud to belong to this project!

I hope later to be a reference in the development of organic makeup and trend.

Suzzaan Kakar was born in Afghanistan Kunduz City. She was 4 years old when she lost my father in the Afghanistan war. After her father died, they left Afghanistan went to Pakistan, then they came to Australia by humanitarian visa. She started her career in Australia, and still she struggling to reach her goals. My weekly routine is part-time working in office and full time studying at University, and I’m looking after my mother and aside that I do volunteer work for cancer Council Relay for Life, and on weekends I do housework, and I have got 4 cats, I’m looking after them as well and apart from all these things I give time to social media as well.

I work in the account department and doing work on MYOB, FileMaker, and doing Invoicing, aside from that job, I do modeling, Fashion designing, and interior designing as well. What does your work entail?

How did you get started?

I started my designing while I joined engineering of fashion designing course. When I finish my study in Fashion designing of bachelor degree and masters, I will start my own labels in the Fashion industry. What do you like about what you do?

I like to complete my bachelor degree in fashion designing and masters then I wanted to be a successful fashion designer, and I want to bring Afghanistan history fashion to modernize.

The most challenging is at the moment for me is timing. What is most rewarding?

The most rewarding in the fashion industry is giving you happiness and enjoyment, and it gives you more chances to get ready for tomorrow’s fashion and in modeling give you confidence and power. What advice would you offer someone considering this career?

My advice would be to people if you love fashion, then be passionate about it and work hard and learn more about it.

What do you dislike? How much time off do you get?

I don’t like When I waste my time on something that doesn’t deserve it. How do you make money or how are you compensated?

From my modeling job and accounting job I do support my financial expenses. What skills are needed to do this?

First of all, I need to complete my studies, and it needs more work experience in the fashion industry and qualified to become a successful fashion designer. What is most challenging about what you do?

Every Sundays after housework and assignments, I get sometimes off. What else would you like people to know about your career?

I want people to know how I work hard to achieve my goal. What is a common misconception people have about what you do?

It is a very tricky question how would I know about people’s misconceptions about what I do, but yeah, our Afghan people in Australia They don’t know what I do because they are living in a backward world.
