Supermodel Sandra Zemaityte In Search of Absolute Beauty
by Saif Rahman Sozib
International beauty contest winner Supermodel Sandra Zemaityte was invited to be a jury in Indian's top model show. Soon after, she was spotted in one of the most significant beauty events, Miss Polo International 2019. She charmed all the fashion loving people & jury by her true majestic beauty with brains, way of talking, and sense of positioning. She has received many offers of International brands after becoming Miss Polo International's success and she is preparing herself for the next steps in Hollywood! Her conversation with international fashion journalist Saif about different issues are as follows: 1. What is that one thing that you wanted to do since childhood but still remains unfulfilled?
My grandmother worked in an orphanage. When I was little, I would often join her to talk and play with all the kids. I saw their burning desire to be like me, to be the child who gets to go home to their family. So I made a promise to myself to provide care for at least one child once I start a family. This dream is still alive today but remains to
be fulfilled as I haven’t started a family yet. I know that making sure an adopted child never feels less loved or appreciated than biological children it is a great responsibility. I also know that adopted children are likelier to become victims of bullying at school, so facing a number of psychological challenges is inevitable. However, they are in no way less deserving to grow up in a family, feel love and support, and be taught how to deal with stressful
situations. Things they are unlikely to get growing up in an orphanage. If every family that has a chance to open their doors to an orphan did do so, then we wouldn’t have this number of orphanages. No one thinks what it would be like to be in their place. Surely being a part of a family and having a home would be your most prominent dream.
2. If you could change one event in the history of humankind, what would that be and why?
Many wars took place around the world, causing countless deaths. Changing the course of just one of them wouldn’t be enough. On the other hand, wars allowed states to divide territories, and some countries managed to become free and independent. Although there is one thing I would certainly change. When natural resources were discovered, I would have wanted for them to be declared human heritage. I know that middle-eastern countries would disagree, but I believe that the resourcebased economy would provide all humans with an opportunity to seek their highest potential; societies would grow and prosper while preserving and protecting the environment. Wars and hunger would be eradicated. 3. What's the best way to
spend a Sunday afternoon?
Sunday is my favorite day. I believe families and friends gathering around a breakfast table on a Sunday morning to be the most beautiful tradition. Getting to share what happened during the week, talking and engaging with each other, and seeing the smiling faces of your loved ones. Sunday is the day when I stay away from my phone and my laptop. Instead of news and social networks, I choose outdoor hikes, swimming or getting a massage. I allow both my mind and my body to rest. I tend to spend Sunday evenings enjoying a lovely dinner, with a good book or a film. I also put together a list of things that I must do to get closer to achieving my goals. That’s my perfect Sunday. 4. Who is your favorite designer, and why?
Today we really have an
impressive number of talented and creative designers. Tom Ford is one of my favorites. Although my all-time favorite designer is Coco Chanel. What an inspiring personality. Her ability to persevere led to turning what many thought impossible into possible. She made history. I read her biography, and it left me with a sense of great admiration for this woman. The Chanel fashion house is still among the highest rated worldwide. 5. What is your idea of a perfect night out? I think it could be an impromptu dinner, dancing, singing, and laughing through the early hours. Greeting the morning sun while enjoying a lovely view of the city with a warm cup of coffee in my hands and the taste of freshly made pancakes covered in the abundance of fruit and chocolate.
6. Who would be your ideal date?
Of course, it would be my future husband. We will remember this date for the rest of our lives. We will go back to this moment over and over again and share precious memories with our children. So this would be a perfect date. Doesn’t really matter where and when it takes place, because my date would be the worthiest man of all. 7. What’s the best chatup line you’ve ever heard?
It came from Jack Ma, the founder of Alibaba Group, during an interview in Israel, where he took a question from a student audience. His speech was most empowering. Jack Ma is an extraordinary person with an exceptional vision and a very unique approach. I watched this interview several times. 8. Is it true that personality is more important than proportions in modeling
right now?
I do agree that the era of anorexic models so exhausted they crumble on a catwalk is over. Now we enjoy a real understanding of the concept of beauty. At the end of the day, models are a commodity. When customers make their choice, they do not care who you are or how you are feeling today. In my opinion, today, we no longer have supermodels with really bright personalities like the icons of the past, including Monica Bellucci, Claudia Shiffer or Naomi Campbell.
10. You do make a fortune, so isn't money necessary?
Warren Buffett once said that wealthy people invest in time while poor people invest in money. Money does give you freedom. You become free from thoughts of how to make money and acquire the freedom to choose. Still, if you look at the wealthiest people in the world, they all had to work hard. Nothing came easy, so we have to work a lot and make sacrifices, but the most cherished moments are not for sale and are not available to buy.
9. What is the most important thing to you now money, fame, or sex?
11. Do you ever get paranoid about your appearance?
Show me at least one human born not as a result of sex. According to my point of view, sex is not just body pleasures, it’s the start of a new life. What could be more critical than something created by Nature?
You’ll hardly find a woman in this world who hasn’t experienced that. I am a perfectionist and prone to self-criticism. No one’s perfect, but it doesn’t mean you can’t get at least a little closer to perfection.

1. How did they contact you for the brand/product promotion?
Doctor B (Bulent Cihantimur) is the most famous and in my opinion, the best plastic surgeon in Turkey. He owns not only the aesthetic surgery clinic
but also the cosmetics clinic and his own brand name cosmetics. When it comes to model work, it is crucial to nurture your skin and hair accordingly, so you must make responsible choices. As he is the best specialist in his field for skincare
procedures, I visited his clinic some time ago. After meeting with Doctor B, he immediately offered me to become the cosmetic “face” and the Ambassador for his brand.
Why do you believe your personality & global face value could successfully promote those brands? Video below: h t t p s : / / w w w. f a c e b o o k . com/shafiur.rahman3
Even in a couple of contests, I have won awards for gorgeous hair. This is the best evaluation and the best answer why it is me who should be the “face” of the branded shampoo. I am also the “face” of the world. It's not only the cosmetics itself that I am the “face” of but beauty products that were
revelation for me. They help to nourish my hair and skin. Sometimes models advertise cosmetics that they do not usually use themselves; it is just their job, while in my case it's the opposite. I worship these beauty products and will not switch to using others. Affection, love, and respect can be felt in my works. What could be
better than a model devoted to cosmetics she advertises? I do it not as a job, I do it as an opportunity to send my message to all people. I love people who think and act in a non-standard way, who create and discover extraordinary things. These cosmetics are completely different, produced using exclusive technologies.
3. What is your next project?
I have been offered a role in a Canadian movie. Due to conditions being negotiated, it is not yet finally approved. An upcoming photo session and video clips are waiting. I am also planning a trip to Nigeria, where I will join Miss Polo International in children’s education project. This is followed by an evaluation of India's Top Model Show attendees. Today I am greatly interested in Bollywood industries. 4. Are you signing any recent contract with any international brand?
I have received quite a few suggestions. But I never lose my head. I must believe in a project or a brand. What matters to me is quality, not quantity. I am not interested in flowing downstream, I seek originality and exclusivity. 5. How did you prepared yourself for the next challenges for Bollywood? Any update?
In India, I received a lot of attention and encouragement to enter the Bollywood industries. If it were easy to make a remarkable career, everyone would do it! I know I must plunge into hard work and I am ready
for it. There is a lot of competition in Bollywood, but I possess that extraordinary determination to win. The focus is on dancing, so I attend the Pilates training and dancing lessons, I watch a lot of movies, attend meetings. People in India are already positioning me as a star, so their desire to see me in film will have to come true soon. Ludovica Mazzoni The Freshness Of Elegance by Saif Rahman Sozib
Growing up in maternal tailoring, where she learned the art of fashion, the Bolognese designer formed her brand in 2017, when, after "breathing," the atmosphere of the construction of clothing and aware that that would be her way to the future, she created the homonymous brand. Ludovica Mazzoni loves fabrics, and it is thanks to them, with their patterns and colors, that the designer draws inspiration for her collections, as well as feelings and everyday emotions. Her first collection portrayed a sweet and floral woman: tops, pastel-colored skirts, stripes and linen in soft tones and long dresses
in lace and cotton created a pleasant contrast with ethnicinspired accessories and vests, sometimes combined with fringed kimonos, giving life to a sort of artistic dialogue that united the Orient and Frida Kalo. The spring-summer 2020 collection of the felsineo brand is inspired by the "safari": presented in Milan during the International Fashion Expo, an event held at the Shopping Diva's showroom in Via Monte Napoleone, Ludovica Mazzoni impressed the public with dresses that, from the warm and soft colors of the desert, are distorted with floralbased shock patterns for long dresses, with large flounces and
accessories in jute combined with faux leather vests with large fringes. Ludovica Mazzoni stands out for her uniqueness, creating limited edition garments, making the difference, and making every woman who wears her clothes feel "unique."
Leonardo Giordano, born in Sicily 43 years ago, in a historic city that is fascinating for its temples, namely Agrigento, but I live in the suburbs of Milan. I am an employee of a textile company that produces fine fabrics of Italian fashion. Since I was a little guy, I had this bold curious passion for these plastic machines, where they develop photos. A few years ago I enrolled in a photography school, finished and bought my first professional digital SLR. In 2012 I studied portrait photography. I started almost immediately in a fashion photo studio in Milan, to perfect myself at a professional level. In 2015 I collaborated in a photography magazine (Nphotography Italia), I also photographed for weddings and events. 2018 started with the famous Fashion Week in Milan, in the same year also the Cannes Film and Fashion festival. In February of this year I had the opportunity to travel and participate in the fashion week of Couture Fashion in New York City, where I gathered some wonderful experiences. I hope that all these occasions experience with photography will lead me to future projects .... Leonardo Giordano.

Zannoni-Paiano The Perfect Combination by Saif Rahman Sozib Paola Zannoni, Yvonne Paiano; the artist, and fashion designer and as such they presented themselves at the International Fashion Expo, an event held during the last Milanese fashion week in the Shopping Diva's showroom in Via Monte Napoleone 21, organized by WiCom, a company that manages press offices and PR. Paola Zannoni, an artist from Livorno, was born as a painter, and her style appears highly expressive in the subjective evaluation of colors and shapes. It is precisely the images that, spontaneously deformed, want to represent the many inner transformations of modern man, sometimes distressed and frustrated by existential problems, sometimes exalted and calmed by idyllic visions. What is surprising in Paola Zannoni's works is not only the arrogance of
the image, sometimes monstrous and demonic, that is represented and denotes a high strength of character, but also the skill with which she organizes the combination, the contrast of colors. Sometimes they are numerous and well amalgamated, sometimes the color is only one but such are the nuances that are created that it is a pleasure to look at the image transmitted, to receive the message of joy or sadness, of discouragement or satisfaction that the color sends us as a piece of known music. As if the transposition on canvas of the depth and purity of human content that only this painter can represent in such an original way were not enough, she also creates beautiful floral motifs on canvas and linen for the packaging of scarves and foulards and dresses.
It is precisely from Zannoni's paintings that many fashion designers take their cue to create an extratemporal dialogue between figurative art and fashion, among them, the Vercelli-based designer Yvonne Paiano, who during the last Milano Fashion Week was in the spotlight for the public in the sector of high artistic value clothes for her spring-summer 2020 collection. Precious silks, printed with the colors and shapes of the works of the Tuscan painter, were the protagonists of the exhibition space Zannoni-Paiano, worn with skill and elegance by the models. A unique collection, refined, with exclusive garments capable of highlighting the sophistication and elegance of those who will have the pleasure of wearing them.
I Get Inspired By Myself: Bespoke Nitin Mehta by Saif Rahman Sozib
1. Please say something about your initial years your education, family background, career.
My education has been all over India as my Father was in the Army. But last four years of schooling was in DPS Ghaziabad where my grandparents used to stay. After my school, I went to National Defense Academy, Khadakwasla, Pune and the Indian Military Academy Dehradun, and was commissioned in Indian Army in June 1995. I am a B. Tech ( Mechanical ) and then specialized in the maintenance of Helicopters. I have served in the Army for
21 years and took premature retirement in May 2016.
about. Then I got my portfolio finished, and things started rolling.
2. You have an army background, how did modeling turn up?
3. At middle age, how was it breaking the ice into modeling a stream which was totally different and generally has teenage entrants?
Well, in the Army, I was a very straight forward officer. I never ever thought that I will ever get into this field of modeling and acting. After my retirement in May 2016, I thought of growing my beard as I was always a cleanshaven guy. I was approached by somebody at the airport with a small role in his movie with my current look in beard, the project eventually did not happen, but it just opened my mind to explore this field which I had no clue
At this age, yes, it is difficult to break the ice, moreover my Army lifestyle also, but I took the plunge to seek what I have got in me. I was totally new to this field and did not know how to go about, how much is the remuneration, how do I get more work? But I just kept crawling every single day and learned about this field. It's been tough, but I have enjoyed every single day
4. Who are your role models who inspire you in life?
I don’t look for some role model to get inspired. My parents have given me high values and have taught me to keep moving. I get inspired by myself by seeing how far I have come every single day. 5. For people in your age bracket making sixpacks and following a fit regime is difficult. What's your views and tips for people who aspire to become like you?
Yes, getting six-packs at my age is difficult but not impossible. It is all in the mind. Whatever is your goal, you have to be honest about it, dedicated, hardworking, perseverance, and disciplined. There is nothing which you can't achieve, the biggest barrier is YOU only. 6.
What's your daily routine and the diet plan you follow.
My day starts with my exercises. I work out 56 days a week with cardio, strengthening, HIIT, and some weight training. I follow a diet plan to keep healthy. I don’t skip meals and always keep myself hydrated. Well, I also groom aspirant models, so when I am not on any shoot, I conduct classes for them. 7. Where does the Indian fashion industry and on a global scale according to you and what's your advice to improve its ranking?
Indian Fashion Industry is on a very high platform globally, but we have to scale a considerable difference. We have loads of talent in our country, but they do not get proper guidance to progress and move ahead. We need to help others grow, which will eventually help all of us to be at a different level globally. I have seen so many people like this during my interactions, who have talent but are
not able to move ahead just because they are not aware of how things work. This prompted me to start my Grooming classes for young talent. Every individual is different, so I don’t compare myself with anyone. I am very clear of myself that I need to achieve the goals which I have set for myself. 8. Your valuable, inspirational message for visitors to our portal.
Nothing is impossible in this world; the only limitation is YOU. Age is just a number, so do what you love at whatever stage of life you are because the day you stop challenging yourself, you are DEAD. Turning Dreams Into Reality For Many Talented People by Saif Rahman Sozib
Khrystyna Dmytruk is not only a very beautiful artist but a very talented Makeup Artist, a mentor for many new generations of MUA’s and a believer!
After winning the Trophy Award as the BEST Makeup Artist for the Challenge Look Avantgarde, Khrystyna has demonstrated that doing what you do with passion, love, and commitment can only bring you the satisfaction and the rewards that you deserve to get! Let’s get to know Khrystyna and her story….
How would you describe yourself ? What about your friends?
How I can describe myself ? Hmmm‌ Kris - Makeup Artist/Educator of The Lipstick Makeup Institute, Head Makeup Artist of Arab Fashion Week, Key Makeup Artist of Modest Fashion Week. A woman that loves her job, as it’s her passion & hobby. She always trying
to learn something new and share it with others. If to be honest for me, communication and to be surrounded by people that understanding & always ready to support, you are the most important thing to be a progressive, successful and self-confident person. How did you discover your passion for makeup? Love to art in all its aspects was always in my
blood. From childhood, I was drawing, painting, playing around with colors and structures. So when my auntie opened her first beauty salon in Ukraine, I started to make my first makeup applications (for my friends, friends of my friends and later on for clients) and at that time I was just 13.
When did you decide to have a career as an MUA? I can’t tell you that I’ve ever decided. My job just chooses me. In some mysterious way, a life transformed my hobby into something much bigger. What’s your favorite part when applying makeup for a person? And what is the makeup style you like the most? In my opinion, you can’t
divide makeup application into separate parts, as it’s the single process. For me, it’s not possible to choose favorite parts while applying makeup & also I like all styles of makeup. You’ve had the chance to work with hundreds of faces. Which type of face requires careful skills? Yes, that’s true, I’ve worked with hundreds of faces. I would say that it’s not the type of look, but more skin type. To be able correctly to detect
and recognize which kind of skin your client or model has, is super important. Plus, as a makeup artist, you have to understand that face shapes, eye shapes are different from person to person. You can’t use same products, one countering technique or one eye makeup for everyone. In conclusion, I’ll add that as makeup artist you must learn, practice, and understand all mentioned above.
When you look at a professional makeup done by someone else, what gets your attention first? First of all, I’m always paying attention, if the work is clean, second of all on blending (couture
& eyeshadows). You are indeed a gifted MUA. Your work is getting colossal recognition worldwide, and you have also been awarded in the past months, including at the World Fashion Festival
Awards. How does it feel to see your efforts and passion being recognized and appreciated? It feels and means that in my profession, I’m moving in the right way.
What’s the most significant accomplishment you’ve had as a professional MUA? My students & graduates of The Lipstick Makeup Institute. I’m so happy and proud to see their achievements. Besides this, in October this year, some of them are
participating in the World Fashion Festival Awards 2019. What was your biggest challenge until now in your career? The Lipstick Makeup Institute to become the No1 makeup academy not only in GCC but all over the world.
You are also a mentor for many make-up artists that have just started their careers. What is your advice for them? Never give up, always learn and practice & no matter what believe in yourself. Photo credit: YH Studios DXB (photography)
LET THE COLORS GUIDE THE WAY TO SUCCESS by Saif Rahman Sozib
Manuela Ioana Gulean(13) is a beautiful young model coming from Sibiu (Romania) who is ready to take over the most prominent fashion runways in the world. She is really excited about this new experience, but let’s find out more from her from the next interview. What are your hobbies? I do have a lot of hobbies, but the main
ones are animals, fashion, contortion and athletics and also biology and physics. How would your best friends describe you? I think they would describe me as a very nice person. I can’t say that I’m a perfect friend, but at least I try my best. How does it look a typical day of your life? Well, I wake up in the morning, I take a shower, and I brush my teeth. Then I go to athletics training and right after that I go to school. Not much. What is your favorite food? I do love a lot of foods, but if I needed to pick one out of them all, it would definitely be fried rice. What music do you like?
I don’t really have a type of music that I only listen to. I like to mix music according to how I feel that day. I do play the piano and guitar. What is your favorite movie/story? My favorite movies are all of the Divergent series. Are you superstitious, or do you have any rules you live by? Well, my rule in life would definitely be, treat people the way you want to be treated.” Why are you passionate about fashion? I am passionate about fashion because it is the only world where I can express the way I feel without being judged.
Why be a model and a designer? I feel like a designer can create and inspire other people in fashion. That’s the main reason I chose it.
Are you self-taught, or did you study modeling? I did take a modeling class, but I think that fashion doesn’t really need a school. It merely is just creativity.
What is inspiring you in your designs? Daily life. I just think that if you pay enough attention to your everyday life you can see a whole new world.
Have you been on the runway internationally? If yes, where? Not yet outside my country, but soon I will be modeling in Dubai at the World Fashion Festival Awards, for the Best Young Model Awards, and I will participate with some of my designs to the category Best Collection of Fall/Winter 2019.
What skills, according to you are necessary for a successful designer? I think every designer is right in their own way, but creativity is the primary skill in fashion How would you describe your personal fashion style? I define it as a colorful world full of amazing people. I don’t have a specific style. I combine techniques and I make an outfit that suits me. What made you take fashion more seriously and make a career out of it? The fact that I can express how I feel in colorful materials.
What advice would you give to young models? My advice would be that you need to follow your dream even if it seems impossible What advice you would have wanted to receive when you have started to be a model? To not stress so much on little things. What is your ultimate goal? I wish my brand would be known in the whole
world, but I still have to work a lot to achieve it. What is your motto? Colorful. Everything is colorful because the world is tired of all of this sadness. Life isn’t always a paradise. Any favorite designer? Coco Chanel, she is the Iconic designer when you think of fashion. Her work impressed me a lot. What was your biggest fear when starting the runway for the first time? People. They sometimes tend to judge a little bit too much, and that pushes me down sometimes. Have you ever competed with other models? No, I haven’t. But I hope in the future I will have this type of experience. Who is your biggest supporter(s)? My mom and my Grandma. They are always there for me. Photo credit: Personal archive

It was my pleasure to paint Karen Crosby’s portrait riding with her favorite character. I painted this portrait in January 2009. To me the delight was in the composition. Ed Morales
It is my delight that Rogers Chocolate is just 23 miles from my studio. My studio is on a mountain overlooking the City of Victoria, BC, across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the home of Rogers Chocolates. Rogers established circa 1885. My painting depicts how I would have painted a period advertisement for this magnificent chocolatier. It was my pleasure to give this painting to my granddaughter, Bella Crosby, a few years ago. Hers to keep forever. Ed Morales

The featured Artist Cornelia Steckhan - Corky Art by Saif Rahman Sozib
In a short time, the German artist Cornelia Steckhan was well known in the world of contemporary art. She made a massive impact on the art world with her expressionist paintings. She earned many prizes in San Diego 2014 California, Florence 2016 - Italy, Dubai 2017 - VAE, Florence 2018 - Italy, New York City 2018 - NY, Rome 2018 - Italy, Milan 2018 - Italy. One of her greatest successes was winning The Conceptual Global Art Award in Dubai. She had a lot of exhibitions in the USA, Mexico, Europe, Middle East, and Asia. Her latest showing was in the middle of untouched enchanting nature in the south of Sri Lanka. A small but fine event in a tropical environment. Where art, jungle, animals, sun, and rain merge.
“I love to share my imagination and feelings through my paintings,
and I am inspired by everything I encounter on this incredible journey of life. My paintings are not finished and fixed, they change to the same extent as the thoughts. When they are finished, they continue to change according to the mood of the viewer. I do paint the things as in my flow of thoughts, not as I see them. Cornelia travels extensively, absorbing art and architecture from various cultures. She is an abstract painter and photographer inspired by color, pattern, texture, and light. She is not committed to a genre. A lot of ideas and concepts growing in her mind. For example, the protection of the environment and wildlife, universe and aliens, faces and eyes, landscapes and many others. Thoughts she takes from her travels and
brings them with every stroke of her brush to the canvas. So new paintings have been created. Conceptual 3D Art: Cornelia does not only work on canvas with standard colors. For 3D paintings, she also uses materials such as kelp (marine algae), coffee ground, eggshells, sand, small seashells, structure paste, and finely grounded chalk. Teaching: With great success and recognition in California, Cornelia also taught to paint for the elderly and for children, even for autistic kids. It gave her pleasure to see with what eagerness even handicapped children were at work. She was also a jury member in a painting competition for children.
This year at the very end of October, a new journey will take the artist to Dubai again. There she will not only do her own works and exhibit. One more, she'll teach children how to paint. She follows no strict rules, lets the fantasy of the kids free develop. Only a kid can explain what a picture express and says. Cornelia Steckhan - Corky Art - All rights reserved. www.corkyart.biz

COMMITTED TO NATURAL We use only allnatural ingredients, and we also use certified organic ingredients whenever possible.
Our soap is perfect for blackhead, sensitive skin, and in some cases, psoriasis. Why choose natural soap? •
Today there are very few right soaps on the market. Most body cleansers, both liquid and solid, are actually synthetic detergent products.
•
Take a look at the list of ingredients for an average bar of soap in your local store. It could contain sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), an anionic surfactant used in laundry detergent that will dry out and irritate your skin. It may also have sodium Laureth ether sulphate (SLES), a cheap foaming agent that can become contaminated with the suspected carcinogen Dioxane while being manufactured.
•
If it’s labelled as antibacterial, it probably contains Triclosan (TCS). This chemical is classified as a pesticide by the Environmental Protection Agency. Three-quarters of antibacterial liquid soaps and a third of antibacterial bar soaps contain Triclosan, which is thought to be contributing to increasing bacterial resistance across the world.
Benefits of BIO Soaps: •
Bounty Himalaya manufactures our soaps using the old-fashioned cold process. They use the time to cook our soap vs heat. This means that all the benefits of the essential oils and natural additives we add still retains its efficacy.
•
Our cold process soaps are aged and cured for at least 60 days to make it extra gentle to the skin.
•
True saponification happens when Oils and fatty acids react with Lye. Natural Glycerines is created in the process which is loved by our skin.
•
Our Soaps are not as alkaline as the store-bought soaps. Our soaps are saturated with additional natural Oils which provides natural conditioning
