The pub has had a makeover including the addition of a lovely new bar and upgraded seating. The design has embraced traditional pub décor with quirky accessories – binoculars, model boats and artwork depicting the picturesque seaside town of Whitby.

The combination of wood works strikingly well; the bar is wooden; tables and stools are almost entirely wooden; there are wooden beams throughout; the walls are wood panelled; and even the lampshades that hang from the ceiling are wooden reels.
