Located on Clarks Hay in the charming village of South Cerney, The Eliot Arms is a 16th Century typical Cotswold stone hotel and pub that oozes character.

The seven snug and comfortable bedrooms offer a relaxing environment from which to explore this beautiful part of the country. The rooms have king size beds, flat screen TV’s, tea and coffee making facilities, wardrobe hanging space, and Roberts Radios.

The historical ground floor has been sensitively refurbished to give The Eliot Arms a modern but traditional pub feel. The finishing touches and final details saw lots of additional booth and banquette seating, classic furniture and art pieces come together to create a traditional, eclectic look.

Guests can enjoy the warmer seasons in the new outdoor drinking and dining area. The pub has really invested in the terrace by converting the car park into a much more popular space with lighting too so it can be enjoyed after dark.

With the amazing history and heritage of the Eliot Arms, there were plenty of opportunities to shine a light on the building’s past, even down to the pubs new branding. Part of the original inn was used as a Butchers shop to serve the surrounding villagers; this inspired the logo featuring farm animals which swings from a sign outside.

The Eliot Arms showcases a love for the classic British pub that bubbles with atmosphere and a vibrant buzz. Its traditional design makes it warm, comfortable, and lived in (in the best way, of course) by paying homage to the past whilst tastefully introducing bold features to strike a healthy old-meets-new balance.
