Welcome to our first Mini Mag of 2021!
We are super excited to feature Easter celebrations and our Easter marketplace in this issue as we unfortunately missed out last year. 2021 seems to be shaping up a little better than 2020 (well for now anyway) and parties are back in full swing especially as restrictions have eased for parties and weddings.
At Confetti HQ, we have lots planned for all kinds of party planners which we cant wait to share with you so keep following us as there is lots of goodness ahead. Keep safe and here’s hoping that things continue to get better. Have a wonderful Easter!

5 ECO-FRIENDLY BOTANICAL BABY SHOWER IDEAS We are always looking for ways to be more environmentally friendly when planning celebrations. There are many ways to create a ‘greener’ baby shower for a special mummy-to-be that doesn’t include brown kraft paper. We’ve put together 5 ecofriendly tips for throwing a super cute, eco-friendly and on trend Botanical Baby Shower!
STEP 1. LOCATION Home is where the heart is, and not only will hosting a baby shower at home help keep the costs down, it is also more personal to the mum-to-be. By having the celebration at home it will also give you more control to easily incorporate more eco-friendly decorations, reduce excess waste and unnecessary costs. A garden setting at home or in a local park is a perfect fit for Botanical themed shower.
STEP 2. INVITATIONS Going paperless and sending digital invitations via email, text or social media is one of the easiest ways for your celebration to be more eco-friendly. You could also choose invitations made from natural or recycled materials or create something to keep, like adding the Baby Shower details to the back of an art print or photo for your guests to frame.

STEP 3. DECORATIONS Eco-friendly decorations don’t have to be boring, choose a biodegradable and compostable DIY balloon garland, recyclable paper partyware and decorations that are reusable, biodegradable and made from all-natural materials with no harmful finishes or chemicals. Decorate with fresh or dried florals and greenery - potted herbs and flowers can also double as guest take home favours.
STEP 4. GIFTS Take the pressure of your guests to bring beautifully wrapped gifts, instead request no wrapping, welcome pre-loved clothing and toys or include a list of needed baby items, request a contribution to a big ticket item like a crib, pram or savings account or simply ask each guests to bring a pack of eco-friendly nappies in different sizes. A NOBLE GOAL For as long as I can remember, I have watched and supported Telethon in my hometown of Perth. I have always been inspired and deeply touched by the Telethon Little Stars. Being a mother of two boys who both started their lives in NICU, my husband and I have a great appreciation for the care and medical attention they received. This intensive and high dependency care for the

Since 1968 Western Australians have raised over $349 million through Telethon for the kids of WA. The money raised has helped make significant advances in treating some of the life threatening diseases that face our children today. Telethon also provides equipment, resources and critical services for children across WA. Each year, telethon selects two children to be ambassadors to represent the kids of WA. In 2018, Kaide Stratton and Charlotte

For inspiration, we wanted to infuse the boho trend with the pastel trend, thus ‘Kady’s Karnival’ was born. She has loved Llamas from day one so I just knew that Elvis the llama would be the perfect addition and special guest to her party.

There was lots of hands-on DIY! We were up all night gluing the pompoms to the top of the party hats, but I think it was so worth it. Kmart is also very on trend at the moment so I was able to get a lot of the little details such as extra balloons, garlands, plates and cutlery. I also selected a colour pallet which I sent to all the vendors beforehand to ensure that we were all on the same page and that it would all come together beautifully. h

The dress-up area featuring stunning fairy wings and flower crowns was the perfect space for Miss 4 to explore and the gorgeous lace teepee with themed children’s stories and soft toys provided a perfect space for the little party babies. A Party isn’t a party without amazing food and cake! The client wanted a table graze for big and little people separate to the picnic area and away from the little hands. Gather and Graze Perth brought this to life with a magical unicorn themed feast! The client couldn’t resist the darling twin rainbow unicorn cake from the Dessert Quarter which was an absolute work of art that fitted perfectly on our vintage sweetheart cake table. Creating magic is our absolute joy and this party was nothing short of a dream. h

To bring about some of the boho side to this styling, we opted for our peacock chair, macramé drapery, rustic tables, bohemian floor mat and jumbo floor pillow. Other décor pieces, like our pampas grass, vases and place mats also played an important role in tying everything together. It was like the perfect pieces to a puzzle! The end result of this styling was exactly what we envisioned and we hope it inspires others with their mini party creations. h
