Pastime
If you are a first-generation video game player, you know many of the gaming naysayers out there are full of baloney. Recent reports show games can help cure depression and reduce stress, among other positive benefits. Gaming distracts the mind with problem solving, strategizing and sometimes physical activity. (Next time your wife hassles you about playing so much, throw that bit of wisdom down.) Cure what ails you and have fun at Gaming @ your library (see program above). Or game your heart out at home. We have hundreds of games on dvd.tscpl.org to check out before you buy.
