Everyone Can Listen to the maltese falcon
From the page to your ear, the words of The Maltese Falcon come to life through the voice of tough-guy actor Michael Madsen. There’s no limit to the number of readers who can listen to Dashiell Hammett’s words through their computer speakers, mp3 players or other portable listening devices. The novel follows private eye Sam Spade through a plot running down killers, femme fatales, and an iconic black bird. Visit www.tscpl.org/audiobooks and log into OverDrive using your library card account number. Originally known as books on tape, audiobooks have evolved and now come in various sizes and shapes, including mp3 versions (like for your iPod). Use your detective skills to discover what format works best for you. The library offers you all sorts of ways to use your techie tools, including downloadable ebooks, videos and music.
