Why is it that entrepreneurship is on the sales and sales leadership transformation agenda? There are three critical drivers for entrepreneurship:
Customer: The customer's role in the buying cycle is changing radically, transparency enabled significantly by the internet search means that customer is able to do much research on the potential suppliers and their competitors well in advance of the purchasing decision. They are better informed and therefore better equipped to review product features and benefits, pricing and competitors offers. Sales people are required to respond appropriately.
Sales in a New Era: The new era of selling requires a much more agile approach where sales people are smarter at leveraging the assets of their companies to bring new and unexpected value to their customers at the same time as maximising value to their own companies. They need to think quicker and smarter than their competition and proactively seek to create value. This often r
