The Considerate Hotel of the Year 2014 Awards.. ..will take place at a Gala Lunch on Friday 13th June at the Langham London. The results will be placed on the CH website later that day and there will be a comprehensive awards edition of the news bulletin on Tuesday 17th June. WRAP seeking your feedback on hotel resource efficiency WRAP, the organisation that helps people reduce waste and recycle more, is asking hoteliers to provide them with feedback about activities being undertaken to reduce food waste. As part of their Hospitality and Food Service Agreement, WRAP are interested to hear about your success stories, staff training, policies and actions taken to reduce food waste in your hotels. Linthwaite House Hotel awarded a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence! The Arundell Arms Hotel We are delighted that our auction lot of a 2 night stay in a double room and fishing for 2 rods for 2 days raised £800 for the Salmon & Trout Association. This helps fund great work in conserving the aquatic environment. We have entered the same lot for this year's auction so let's hope it gains the same level of support. The Cavendish London starts the week with the brilliant news that their restaurant Petrichor been awarded another Sustainable Champion Gold Award by the Sustainable Restaurant Association. Scoring 95% for "Fair Trade", 94% for "Sustainable Fish" and 99% for "Responsible Marketing" - Congratulations Team! Macdonald Windsor also received a Certificate of Excellence from Trip Advisor Congratulations to our lovely Head Housekeeper Jo and all those who completed the Cancer Research Race for Life at Windsor Racecourse on Saturday!
