26 years ago, as a wide-eyed lad, arse hanging out of my trousers, I tentatively booked my first page in Contact 1. These were the days before computers, wax crayons had just been invented and I was determined to master them. All Contact artwork had to be

hand delivered, and how well I remember the 42 mile trek from Brighton to Leatherhead. I once enquired direction from an old man on route. “Leatherhead?” I asked brusquely, pointing ahead. I was roundly cuffed across the back of my head, as he roared “Pieface!” back at me.

Vector Artwork! Yes, all you see here was drawn in vector except for the stills from TV commercials. Even they were vector prior to going to the production company. Of course, being resolution independent this artwork reproduces at any size without loss of detail. You’ll find some

surprising magnifications on my website. I’m displaying my work in this medium to demonstrate the accuracy it allows. You might realise that it also demonstrates a little determination to produce a good job. For all that, I assure you that I’m quite happy to create images from pixels!
