Welcome to the 25th anniversary edition of Contact Photography which continues to present you with the latest selection of innovative and successful commercial freelance photographers. Each page shows a photographer’s work. Contact details on the page allow you to contact the photographer direct or, of course, you can look at more of their work via the listed web addresses. Our unique thumbnail category sections allow you to find photographers of specific expertise and the online portfolio each photographer has on our site gives you the opportunity to view a further 20 images from each photographer. The photographers’ pages are backed up by a services section allowing you to contact photographer, studio, location and stylist from the one book. The electronic online version of the book has direct links from categories to photographers’ pages as well as click through email and web addresses for all advertisers. The pocket size edition is the same book but in a handy quarter size format suitable for carrying to client meetings or flicking for ideas. We hope these features all further enhance the usability of Photography 25 as a whole and we hope you find them all useful and inspiring. Quick reference categorised index The quick reference section is located before the main index and uses thumbnails of images from the pages to create the quick reference categories. The purpose of this thumbnail index is as a guide for when you are looking for a photographer skilled in specific subjects or certain styles. For example, if you want someone who specialises in people and portraiture, turn to pages 251-252 and look through the thumbnail images - all by photographers who specialise in this area. Under each thumbnail image is the name of the photographer and their page number. Once you see a style that you like, turn directly to that photographerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s page to see more of their work and their full contact details. In the E-Book, you can click straight through to their page on-screen.

Photographic Services These services are all part and parcel of a shoot and it is hoped that the inclusion of them will significantly enhance the organisation of a shoot by placing all the people you need in one visual reference book. We have 24 pages of differing services, ranging from colour management companies, to modelmaking artists, studios for hire, food stylists and location finding houses, naming just a few. The Services follow the main pages of photographers. They are organised by the service they offer and include imagery to illustrate their work. There is an index of all services featured.

The most recent of these is our E-Book where you can view every page in the printed edition in its entirety online. Each email and web address on a page works as a live-link. You can zoom into particular areas of a page for a close-up look and also print out pages for reference. In addition pages can be emailed to colleagues for collaboration of ideas. The thumbnail category index described opposite is fully linked in the online version, so having found a certain image you can access the photographerâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s contact details with one click. Likewise the index pages link from name to main page. As the market requirements have changed, so too has the need for new skills both screen and print based.
