The the week Ealinger
1
Colin – “At the moment, we are super-focused on making Tribeca Studios in Ealing the best it can be. But if Ealing gives us the vote of confidence, we’d love to roll out across London. Maybe further afield too. “A Tribeca Studios in Tribeca NYC would be incredible!” What do people tell you they like most about your gym? Hayley – “The Tribeca family – instructors and staff. Everyone mentions how amazing the instructors are. I’ve been teaching classes for 10 years, so I know a lot of instructors, and the guys & gals we have at Tribeca are top of their game, but also so down to earth. “I challenge you not to want to hug them every time you see them. Or high-five them (we love high-fives at Tribeca).”
Tribeca whenever Hayley Balls and Colin Scott recently set up Tribeca Studios in Ealing Broadway to help people get fit according to their own timetable. In our Q&A they explain why it’s ok to turn up “whenever you feel like it” So how does it work then, the anti-membership gym business model? Hayley – “If customers love our classes, that’s enough! We pride ourselves on our range of classes, awesome instructors and great facilities. “Too many gyms rely on locking customers into long-term contracts. We’re turning that on its head. We want Tribeca to work with your life, pop in once a month or every day, we’ll just be pleased to see your smiling face! And you only pay for what you use.”

The Ealinger
Neither of you is from Ealing, so how come your business is on The Mall in Ealing Broadway? Colin – “Because Ealing is awesome! Busy, and getting busier with the Crossrail. And such a welcoming community that embraces new businesses. “We’ve been really touched by the number of people who have helped us. It’s a great place to set up business.” I can see the glint of ambition in your eye. You’re planning to open up another studio soon, aren’t you?
Q&A
Do you get a chance to use the gym yourselves? Colin – “Absolutely. We’re group fitness junkies, that’s why we’re doing this! My favourite is Ride Road, but I love mixing it up. “Hayley teaches a mean Body Pump class. I’d recommend it to anyone!” – Carlene Bender tribecastudios.co.uk @TribecaStudios tribecastudios
