Introducing...

Three months on and we are settling in rather nicely to our new kitchen. However, it is all very well having an ‘all singing, all dancing’ fancy kitchen but it is the people who work there that ensure that the food tastes good. The quality of the ingredients we use in our meals is, of course, vital but it is people like…

• Our Head Chefs Wayne and Damien (left) constantly tasting each batch to ensure the texture / seasoning is just so. • Sue (below right) who works in our finishing department being rigorous in ensuring that every component of the dish is weighed out exactly right. • Carol (below left), who runs the pastry section. She blind bakes all the quiche bases - big hassle but worth it. The list goes on and on but it is they who make the difference.

Over the coming months we will be introducing the good folk who work at the kitchen through photos in the stores which we hope you enjoy. They are dedicated and enormous fun to work with and what’s more, with the exception of Dale (below), we’re sure you'll agree they are a fine looking bunch.
