Welcome to our festive menu! I know I say this every year, but I really think it’s the best one yet. At COOK, we believe relationships are what makes life rich and fulfilling. Now that might sound a bit warm and fuzzy, but there’s compelling evidence to support it. Since 1938 the Harvard Grant study has tracked 268 men through their lives. They found that it was the warmth of their relationships – more than money, fame, success or anything else – that has made them happy. (There’s a great TED talk about the study, if you’re interested.) The festive season brings plenty of opportunities to get together with friends and family. Along with that comes the potential for the odd meltdown in the kitchen. Hopefully, that’s where we can step in and give you a helping hand. Because what counts isn’t a virtuoso, solo culinary performance, but the time, intimacy and laughter you share with the people you love. Whether you’re eating COOK food or not, I hope you’re able to make time for what matters this Christmas, enjoy the company of family and friends, and remember the Harvard Grant study. Peak Christmas slots open on Sunday 15th October to place an order for delivery or collection on December 22nd, 23rd, 24th. For these three days only, there’s a minimum order value of £50. They get booked up quickly, so order early. To edit items in your order you can call us or go to ‘Your Account’ online. Please note, between December 1st and 16th you will only be able to add new items, not remove any. No changes can be made after December 16th.

Home Delivery • We’ll add extra days to our local home delivery service from shops during Christmas week. • If you are outside our local delivery areas, our national courier service will be delivering up until Friday 22nd December and then again on the 28th, 29th and 30th for New Year’s Eve. Talking Turkey We only make a limited number of turkeys, so tick one thing off your list and get yours early. If freezer space is limited, the earliest you can take your turkey for 8 or 12 out of the freezer, ready for Christmas day, is 21st December. Just keep it in the fridge until Christmas morning.
