2015 Opens with Our 11th New Year Intercessory Watchmen & Women on the Walls
Looking back on 2014, so many dreams of Exploits Ministry were fulďŹ lled in our various overseas convocations both in the Philippines and in India, where we held an unprecedented event in
the history of the state of Rajasthan with our Bible Workers Congress, the largest Gospel event in that region. Truly with the help of our faithful partners, we are preaching the Gospel in Jerusalem, Judea

and Samaria and to the uttermost parts of the earth (Acts 1:8), which is our biblical mandate. And 2015 opened with our 11th annual Watchmen and Women on the Walls intercessory convocation marked with so many hallmarks from heaven as we committed the New Year to the Lord with all of its increasing pressures. We rededicated our lives afresh to standing with Israel in a world that is growing increasingly hostile to the Jewish State and seems already to be in strong delusion. How fortuitous to have Canon Andrew White, the Vicar of Baghdad, in our midst and other choice men of God such as Michael Freund as we believed God for maximum opportunities in this ongoing Year of the Lord’s Favour and an extended period of grace. 8 Keys for the Lord’s Faithful Watchmen
By Christine Darg During our recent Watchmen and Women on the Walls, Michael Freund, who is spearheading the return of the Lost Tribes from areas such as northern India, spoke, and we received an offering to help Michael’s work. Does not the New Testament teach in Romans 15:27-For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them our material blessings. is is our Scriptural responsibility. Isaiah 49:22 also teaches-- us saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I will li up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring thy sons in their arms, and thy daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders. And so we also prayed to Abba Father, for the Jews in the West, who still don’t have their passports, even while they see France burning, and anti-semitism everywhere, to get their houses in order and to return to the Land of the Bible, their ancestral home. I also addressed the pressure that is increasingly coming against the Lord’s watchmen on Jerusalem's walls – if you thought the pressure on your spirit was tough last year, it will only increase this year. e following keys are from my address at the January convocation: Eight keys for getting with God’s divine calendar and becoming effective end-time watchmen and intercessors: 1. A faithful watchman preaches good tidings to the meek. Who are the meek? ey know they have no righteousness of their own. ey are the poor in spirit, the opposite of the arrogant; the meek have a sense of their absolute need of the Saviour, their need of help from heaven. In this case, pray “Lord, help me to find the meek to preach to. I can’t waste God’s time casting his pearls before the arrogant!” 2. A faithful watchman comforts mourners in Zion. Israel is isolated and in deep distress. Who will speak the truth of God’s Word for them? Let’s say boldly and courageously, “here I am God, send me!” I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again—God instructed me in an epic dream and my own “burning bush” experience decades ago, when Israel was still popular, that I must
stand with the nation of Israel when all the nations of the world turn against Israel! 3. A faithful watchman preaches a free Saviour to all the world. ere are many religions but only one saviour—the soon coming king of kings and lord of lords, Jesus, Yeshua Hamashiach. A watchman is not so on sin but preaches repentance and forgiveness through the Saviour. 4. We have to be convinced that we’ve been raised up for such a time as this. is is our watch. e Lord is entrusting you and me to be on guard. e Lord needs us as intercessory gap-fillers in order for him to have mercy upon our nations and to save Israel. Ezekiel 22: 30-31 declares, I sought for a man among them who should wall up a wall for the land, and stand in the gap before Me, that I should not destroy it. But I did not find one. erefore I have poured out My fury on them. I have burned them up with the fire of My wrath…says the Lord. 5. Battled-hardened watchmen intercessors will have to continue to stay in faith. Doubt develops tragedies: In Israel’s history, the 10 spies’ unbelief produced a tragedy. I feel strangely detached from people who talk unbelief but I’m attracted like a magnet to people who believe God. You can spot unbelieving believers aer hearing them talk for just a few minutes. God looks for faith reactions. e Israelites stood on the threshold of the promised land, just as we stood recently at the gates of a new year. Words of unbelief anger and grieve God’s heart. Some words excite God’s heart. Unbelief brings God great pain. Faith brings Him great pleasure. ink about this: Twelve spies analyzed Canaan for 40 days. But tragically, the people accepted the Report of Doubt from the 10 spies instead of the Report of Faith from Joshua and Caleb, who had a different spirit. Each day of doubt was multiplied into years of heartache. Numbers 14:34 proves this. It says, “Aer the number of the days in which you searched the land, even 40 days, each day for a year, you shall bear your iniquities, even forty years to bear your iniquity.” Doubt is as contagious as faith. A verse that has captivated me for many years is found in Luke 18: 8, Yeshua looked down the tunnel of time and asked if there would be any who would persist in faith when He returns! 6. We’ve got to know we’ve been anointed and sent by God. Let’s go back in time for a moment and visit Nazareth and enter the synagogue with Yeshua. Let’s see him take the scroll and look up the passage from the prophets. He found the portion we know as Isaiah 61 and he began to read:
As End-Time Pressures Are Increasing The spirit of the Lord God is upon me: when I read, the spirit of the Lord God is upon me, that means my perspective is different from the world’s perspective. . . .I see and hear what other men and women don’t; I interpret events by a different standard. When the spirit of the Lord is upon you, you’re not like other men and women—you see as God sees. Because Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings to the meek— we need preachers—we don’t need philosophers, life coaches, we need preachers! He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound. Sin weaves its silken cords into iron bands. Men are slaves of lust and habit. Christ opened the prison for us; and the fetters we could not shake off, he struck from our souls. He hath SENT me. People don’t always call for you-- you are sent by God, and this year you must stay conscious that you’re sent, whether people welcome you or not; whether they honour you or not. You are sent by God as an intercessor and watchmen into this generation.…. to bind up the brokenhearted , to give the oil of joy for mourning…. always be cognizant that in every group there’s at least one broken heart. Every prayer intercessor should remember that there is always a crushed spirit in every group. Somebody sees no hope; somebody is exhausted trying to deal with a mate; someone is pining over a prodigal child, and so forth. You’ve got to know you’ve been anointed and sent by God-every time you enter an environment you are a potential atmosphere changer. When you walk into a place, God is also inside you and walking in, because you carry his anointing and presence. You can’t be a deliverer and a victim at the same time. So remove victim vocabulary from your conversation. Stop whining, “I don’t have an education, opportunities, I was abused in my childhood, I came from a broken home, etc.” A survey that I mentioned in one of our recent programs showed that most famous, highly productive people actually struggled within dysfunctional homes. So don’t adopt a victim attitude and vocabulary. Refuse it. is past year is over. Act like it. e spirit of the Sovereign Lord hath anointed me to set the captives free. I’m not a captive to the past, but I’m a deliverer. You’re not a victim, you’re victorious.
1 John 4:4 declares “You are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world!” 7. Here’s a seventh characteristic of God’s EndTime watchmen: Because these are especially dangerous times, learn to avoid contentious people. Proverbs 15:1 says “A so answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.” Protect your intercessory strength. Reserve your time from being diluted by contentious, argumentative people. Somebody is always going to want to start an argument, or a quarrel. But to be God’s faithful intercessor is the highest calling on earth. Like Nehemiah in the Bible, we must say to the Sanballats and to all our detractors, “I’m doing a great work. I cannot permit you to call me down from the wall. I refuse to allow your contentious spirit to break my focus.” I have to notice and purposefully detach our ministry from contentious people. e Apostle Paul learned and knew this. He said in Romans 16:17, “...mark them which cause divisions and offenses contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.” Proverbs 22:10 adds, “Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.” Let the contentious members who invade your circle go. Wave bye-bye, and peace and unity will prevail. 8. Finally, the eighth characteristic of Endtime watchmen: develop an inner persuasion that God is watching his watchmen always. You will need an experience with God that births a holy reverential fear of God. You refrain from evil because you know God sees everything. I heard a man of God say that ladies can’t get attractive enough to keep a man faithful. It’s not your looks, or your money-- it’s a healthy fear of God that keeps a man faithful to his wife, and keeps a wife faithful to her husband. If you don’t have a divine fear of God, you won’t be able to stand in this wicked and adulterous generation. A lot of people still see God as a big Sugar Daddy who is so on sin. I used to climb up on my father’s lap and charm him into giving me some change to buy candy. But God is not a Sugar Daddy for sinners and he can’t be charmed. He is not so on sin. e God of the Bible is to be respected and feared. Lord of the Harvest, we thank you that you have kept us and preserved us and brought us to this season of spiritual warfare for such a time as this.
The Writing is on the Walls Are Our Leaders Seeing It?
By Christine Darg Rembrandt lived in the Jewish Quarter of Amsterdam and derived the Hebrew inscription for this painting of Belshazzar’s Feast from a book by the learned rabbi and printer, Menasseh ben Israel. Yet the famous artist mistranscribed one of the characters and arranged the letters in columns, rather than right to le, as Hebrew is written. Perhaps this was a Jewish tradition that the words were unintelligible to any but the prophet Daniel because the letters were written vertically by God’s hand. Other explanations have been offered as to why the Babylonians were unable to interpret the words. But today we are concerned that the West is failing to read the “writing on the wall.” Yoram Ettinger, writing in “Israel Hayom,” observed that the West has blindly failed to see the handwriting. We need to know the Bible to understand the idiom. In Daniel Chapter 5 is the extraordinary story of King Belshazzar’s Feast in Babylon, and the so-called “handwriting on the wall” miracle. Reading the handwriting on the wall has become a proverbial saying to describe imminent danger or a last warning. To cut a long Old Testament story short, Belshazzar indulged in drunken revelry and debased Jerusalem’s sacred temple vessels by using them for profane service as common wine goblets. A disembodied hand suddenly began to write on the wall of the banquet hall. It was supernatural and alarming. e prophet Daniel was summoned to interpret. e language of a man of God will always be diametrically opposed to the opinions of politicians and commentators. Daniel translated the inscription that was written: mene, mene, tekel, parsin
“Mene.” e word literally means to number, or be numbered. But who has numbered? “God hath numbered.” Indeed all our days are numbered in the decrees of Heaven. “Tekel.” To weigh, or be weighed. “ou art weighed in the balance and found wanting.” “Peres.” To divide, or be divided. “Pharsin” is the plural: “y kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.” “In 2015, Western civilizations must read the writing on the wall, desist from ambiguity, denial and political correctness and embrace clarity, realism and political incorrectness, in order to survive and overcome the clear and present lethal threat of Islamic takeover,” Ettinger wrote. “When it comes to reading the writing on the wall, Western eyesight has been far from 20:20, dominated by modern day Belshazzars, ignoring modern day Prophet Daniels.” As examples, Ettiger cited British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain signing the Munich Pact on September 30, 1938, declaring “Peace for our time,” a “peace accord” which triggered the “war of all wars.” Furthermore, during 1977-79, President Carter didn’t read the writing on the wall, and supported the Ayatollah Khomeini’s battle against the Shah of Iran: “us, the US betrayal of the Shah eliminated a most effective and loyal strategic partner, gave rise to the most lethal, conventional and nonconventional threat to vital US interests in the Persian Gulf, the Middle East and beyond and generated a robust tailwind to Islamic terrorism.” Ettinger also noted that since the conclusion of the 1993 Oslo Accord, Western democracies have refrained from reading the writing on the Palestinian wall: hate education in grades K-12; unprecedented terrorism; systematic non-compliance with agreements; naming squares, streets and tournaments aer terrorists; monthly allowances for families of terrorists; responding to Israeli retreats with intensified terror.” Moreover, the 2015 failure to carefully read the Iranian writing on the wall could produce a nuclear conflict . . . . At stake is not only freedom of expression and the safety of European Jewry, but the survival of Western democracies. Solidarity demonstrations and eloquent speeches will not spare Western democracies the wrath of Islamic terrorism and domination, unless accompanied by clarity, realism and the willingness to take military, legislative and political action.
Let Us Go in and Possess This Year’s Opportunities!
By Christine Darg e world is a much darker place. e tears of God’s people are flowing under the tyranny of jihadists. e earth is groaning with the birth pains of Messiah. Israel is threatened 24/7 with the most vile hatred, as if the lessons of the Holocaust were never learned. Anti-Semitism is stooping to new levels of cunning. But we must face new opportunities and hardships, full of faith, like Joshua and Caleb, who spied out the Promised Land. is year there will be giants to battle, but we must exude a different spirit, saying, “Let’s go in and possess the land!” Caleb had this commendation from the LORD, “Now as to my servant Caleb, because a different spirit is within him and he has remained true to me, I will bring him into the land that he explored [as one of the 12 spies sent out by Moses] and his descendants are to inherit it.” (Numbers 14: 24) e New Living Translation renders this verse, “Caleb has a different attitude than the others have. He has remained loyal to me.” e majority of God’s people tragically stood at the threshold of the Promised Land and balked through unbelief. Even today the majority of unbelieving “believers” disbelieve God’s promises. Listen to the conversations of the average church-goer, and you hear the whining tones of unbelief. e Joshuas and Calebs who believe the LORD are definitely in a minority! “e people who know God will be strong and carry out exploits.” (Daniel 11:32b) Some will battle doctor’s reports in 2015, but let us believe the report of the LORD! We mustn’t conclude as the multitude complained to Moses, “e giants are too great to overcome.” Joshua and Caleb retorted, “ey are bread for us!” How resolute and fixed were their spirits! eir one desire was to gain the land. ey refused to be guided by popular opinion; only God’s opinion mattered. What does it mean to have “another spirit,” as the King James Version renders Caleb’s character? It’s an heroic spirit of faith, a reverential fear of the Lord, a spirit of might and courage, of truth and faithfulness; believing all the promises of God, being persuaded any opportunity offered by God is worthy of pursuit. A different spirit brings a faith report of any situation according to God’s Word. A man or a woman with a different spirit believes
Joshua and Caleb brought the grapes of Canaan and a good report!
that God’s opportunity is immeasurably superior to the past. While others were hatching conspiracies, Caleb was a support to his leader Moses. What frightens others makes a man or a woman of God run to the battle. 1 Samuel 17: 48 illustrates courage to confront giants: “en it happened when the Philistine rose and came and drew near to meet David, that David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine.” Today we are bombarded with endless advertisements for healthy eating options, hormonal treatments, vitamins, etc., but possessing a different spirit is a pathway to health! Because of the unbelief of his fellow Israelites, Caleb’s entry into the Promised Land was delayed; nevertheless he was rewarded with long life, vigour and health. At age 85, Caleb possessed the same strength he had at 40, and therefore he was fit to face giants. No problem! is teaches us that the person who fully follows the Lord will have strength, faith and courage in old age. Charles Haddon Spurgeon wrote insightfully, “We gain our old saints from among those faithful young ones.” Caleb’s spirit was characterized by: (1) Faith in action vs. grumbling and complaining (2) Courage vs. quailing (3) Decisiveness vs. procrastination (4) Fidelity to God vs. disloyalty Nothing is so important as divine approval. ose the LORD approves are greatly blessed, either in this world, or in the world to come. Have a New Year full of courage and faith!
3 Important Keys for Success in the New Year By Christine Darg Truly the heavens declare the glory of the Lord! e photo on this page is courtesy of the prayer alert emails of Martin and Norma Sarvis in Jerusalem. I’d like to share a few more keys for the new year: 1. God’s insurance policy is blessing the Jews. is principle is found in Genesis 12: 3, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse.” Tragically, many in the denominational churches still haven’t learned this great Bible truth and are defiantly trying to boycott the Jewish state that God himself has recreated aer the horrors of the Holocaust. It’s foolish to defy God almighty! Winston Churchill once said, “ose that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.” Nearly a generation ago, the Jewish people were under attack, not just in Germany but in many nations. Recently we’ve seen demonstrations calling for “Death to Jews!” praising Hitler and Nazis. e nations have failed to learn the lesson of the Second World War. God told me decades ago in a dream to stand with Israel and the Jewish people when all the world turns against them. Standing with Israel and the Jews is a key to favor in God’s eyes. Key number 2: return the tithe to God, or Satan will exact it by things breaking down, the, medical bills, and so forth. But you say, Christine, tithing was a commandment under the Old Covenant! Concerning tithing, Jesus said in the New Covenant, these things you ought to have done—in other words, Jesus viewed tithing as a lifestyle. Tithing documents our faith in God and proves that we have conquered greed. Since God owns all the silver and the gold and the cattle on a thousand hills, he really doesn’t need our money. What God seeks from
us is a sign of faith, and tithing proves that we believe that God exists and that He is a rewarder. Tithing proves that we honor God with our substance. Giving our first fruits to God is a protocol in the Spirit that shows respect. Tithing is actually liberating because it relieves our minds from the guilt of robbing God. He promises in Malachi 3 that when we prove his faithfulness by bringing him the tithe, he will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that we will not be able to contain it all! erefore, the only down side to tithing is having too many blessings to store. Key number 3: Make the Lord your primary physician this year. You don’t have to talk to people very long to hear either the voice of faith or the voice of fear due to unbelief. Faith for healing has to be built and maintained. You can’t go on a starvation diet of unbelief and then expect your spirit to be strong when adversity hits. And believe me, we’re in a battle in this world. It’s a relentless battle, and when you’re ambushed with sickness, you have to fight with the only offensive weapon God has given us in the armor of God—the sword of the Spirit, the word of God. You’ve got to fight with specific Bible verses. And you have to hold up the shield of faith against the symptoms or the doctor’s report and then you have to cut off the sickness in the name of the Lord with the sword of the spirit. On days of health, you must meditate regularly on the healing aspect of the Gospel, read healing testimonies, listen to healing preaching and meditate on what the Lord accomplished for us in the Atonement so that when a health challenge attacks, you’re not thrown into panic and unbelief. Strong faith is maintained by knowing and practicing this Word.
