Operation Moses : Supporting Israel Pro-Life This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. —Deuteronomy 30: 19 By Christine Darg Since 1948, more babies have been aborted in Israel than the number of children who perished in the Nazi Holocaust. On the cover of our magazine this month is a sweet photo of one of the precious babies in Israel that our Exploits Ministry partners have helped to rescue. When you support Exploits Ministry, please know that one of the important ministries that we support in Israel is “Be’ad Chaim,” which means Pro-life in Hebrew. The work began about three decades ago in 1988 when founders noticed statistics indicating that just under one in three pregnancies in Israel were being aborted, the same proportion of world Jewry that Hitler had killed. Watchmen on the walls sounded the alarm! The pro-life work has grown with 13 counsellors covering the country. Many of the referrals come through social media campaigns to increase public awareness of alternatives to abortion. Be’ad Chaim’s mandate is to defend the rights of the unborn and their mothers. Links have been developed with social workers and the Israeli Army who also refer girls, and there has been opportunity to meet with several Knesset members to discuss the need to stop abortion. Be’ad Chaim
has even won an award from the Knesset, the Israeli Parliament, for their outstanding contribution to women’s health in Israel! The Be’ad Chaim hotline number enables women to talk to an advisor and to think through their decision. They, and perhaps their partners and family members, can also talk further with a counsellor near their home who will give real support to keep their baby. In 2006, the pro-life organization began Operation Moses to provide needy mothers with a crib, stroller, baby clothes - whatever the new baby needs - plus diapers and baby formula for its first year of life in the Holy Land. The mothers keep in touch with their local office each month and can receive emotional as well as practical support, such as parenting courses. Exploits Ministry has been privileged to participate in Operation Moses to help to save a number of babies. Although Operation Moses started small (saving 15 babies in the first year), it currently supports 500 families throughout the country. The cost to sponsor a baby for one year is $1,800, but through faith and generosity of supporters, the Lord has supplied, and in 11 years, over 2,000 lives have been saved through Operation Moses. Breakthrough In Arabia!
By Christine Darg Wherever religious tolerance opens in the Islamic world, we want to be there. A new landmark is being planned in the United Arab Emirates that will feature a church, mosque and synagogue. The historic project, the “Abrahamic Family House,” is expected to open in 2022. Of course, prophetically this heralds the coming one-world religion, but we do want to be wherever there is an opening to share the Gospel. We are planning with pastors for an Arabian Prophetic Summons in early 2020! Please pray! We must be quick to seize opportunities! The photos on this page are from our ministry this summer when we ignored the heat and took the great opportunity to minister on the Arabian peninsula, and we sensed the increasing freedom to preach the Gospel there. In fact, unprecedented breakthroughs are happening in this area of the world where we were privileged to be involved in a powerful revival in the 1990s, as documented in my book, “The Jesus Visions: Miracles Among Muslims.” This time we were asked to teach overseas workers on the topic of “Blessings Or Cursings.” Subsequently, we put my messages into an eBook (photo at right) of more than 60 pages available for $2.95/£2.40 at the Amazon website. I hope it will be a helpful resource for our ministry partners. Why is one person blessed with success and another suffers? The Bible has answers and warnings we need to

A Fresh Touch from the Lord Editor’s Note: This is an excerpt from one of Christine Darg’s TV productions. As the believers in Jerusalem continued to pray, they made a specific petition in Acts 4: 29, “And now, O Lord, hear and take note of the threats we have received, and give us, your servants, great boldness in preaching your word.” Yes, Lord, that’s what we need today—great boldness. And then they asked God to stretch forth his hand with healing power so that more miraculous signs and wonders would be done— they prayed for great exploits through the name of Jesus. Amen and Amen! What a powerful prayer. Why aren’t we using this prayer? What do you need today? Do you need a miraculous healing? Then let’s ask the Lord—“Stretch forth your healing hand with great power that miraculous signs and wonders will continue to be done through the name of your holy child Jesus!” Their prayer was so powerful that the place where they were meeting literally shook with the presence of God. He was saying “Amen” to their prayer by sending an earth tremor, signalling his approval of their faith. The place was shaken that their faith might not be shaken! God granted the believers greater degrees of his Holy Spirit; and they were all filled with the Spirit, enabling them to speak the word of God with great boldness. Do we not need this infilling of the Holy Spirit today as we are surrounded by much apostasy and opposition to the Gospel? The whole Church was strengthened by this event because courage is contagious. When we pray boldly, the natural order of things can be shaken, mountains can be moved, enemies frightened and back down, and churches revived. The angel of the Lord is able to shut the
mouths of lions or supernaturally break chains. This is how we move from strength to strength and from faith to faith. For example, in the Hebrew Bible, David the shepherd boy who became king was emboldened to challenge the giant Goliath in battle because God had already taught David how to fight beasts. David wasn’t afraid of Goliath because he had already delivered his flock from the claws of a lion and a bear. Faith grows by using it. This is the law of use of the gift of faith! It only takes one living word that you really believe to effect healing! When you find a Bible promise and declare it in faith over your life, or over the life of somebody else, God sends that word and delivers you or that person from destruction. The apostles were not wealthy, they certainly didn’t have social status, but God was with them, and that’s all that mattered. When they preached, the Lord confirmed his Word with signs — this was God’s method and means of encouraging them. And God hasn’t changed. He wants to encourage us to step out under his direction.
