First Bible Women Congress In Hyderabad, India ‘’Jesus didn’t command women to be silent but to go into all the world as His witnesses. The Great Commission belongs to women as well as men. Two-thirds of missionaries in church history have been dedicated, brave women.’
By Christine Darg
The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host! Psalm 68:11 Amplified
To the glory of the Lord of the Harvest, we held our First Bible Women Congress in India in May 2013 for a thousand women ministers and intercessors. They were empowered, commissioned, anointed with oil and equipped with the certificate at left to go where I cannot go because of time and resources to evangelize many homes, towns and villages. The Lord gave me a vision to empower Bible women as a KEY to reach all of India because many pastors cannot make home visits due to Hindu and Muslim cultures
that currently prevail in this nation of more than a billion souls. The Bible Congress is a new strategy to multiply the spirit of evangelism that rests upon Exploits Ministry. If we are to win the world in our generation before the Second Coming, the two great nations that are on the rise, India and China, must become Christian nations! We are grateful to Pastor Kumar (photo below) who describes himself as a Messianic Jew, who organized our event in a strategic governmental location. The purpose of the Congress was to elevate female evangelists as did Jesus with Mary Magdalene, the woman at the well, Joanna, Susanna and Mary of Bethany, whose prophetic anointing of the King of Kings was a memorial to be mentioned wherever this Gospel is preached. In my charge to the women, I asserted, “The Apostle Paul is not my Lord! Jesus didn’t command me to keep silent but to go into all the world to be His witness! If women are restricted inside churches, never mind: Jesus told me many years ago, ‘Get me outside of church compounds and from behind locked gates and church walls to the marketplace wherever the people are!’” Amen! Let’s go for souls!”

Our First Bible Women Congress was held strategically in a governmental location in the state theatre across from this historic Parliament building of Hyderabad, capital of Andhra Pradesh state.
Mrs. Susheela George, my ministry partner in Arabia, was invited to address the Congress, and she gave powerful testimony to how God uses female educators in his Harvest Fields. Team members Nancy Crowell, soloist Paula Gilbert and sacred dancer Joyce Neech distributed gift cards from Jerusalem to each delegate.

Help Your Unsaved Loved Ones To Call Upon the Name of the Lord! By Christine Darg We often receive requests for prayers of agreement for salvations, particularly for elderly parents or loved ones about to depart this life. I encourage everybody to lead loved ones in a simple prayer, calling on the Name of Jesus, to procure assurance of salvation and peace for all involved. As I often declare in our Gospel meetings around the world, there are many prophets but only One who merits an empty tomb: Jesus! All other prophets are still in their graves! In fact, the resurrection of Jesus authenticated his ministry and declared him to be the son of God with power. Everywhere on the map there’s trouble, and Bible prophecy predicts an increase of calamities. The very real and present danger of dirty bombs and terrorism hang over us like the proverbial sword of Damocles. What protection is there in this world and in the world to come? My text, Acts 2:21, gives the answer: “And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” That was the Apostle Peter’s declaration on the day of Pentecost. Peter quoted the Hebrew prophet Joel 2: 32. In this verse “LORD” refers to the name for God, yod hey vav hey, YHVH, Yehovah, but Peter, Paul and the early church didn’t hesitate to apply the sacred name of the LORD Yehovah to the exalted Jesus. In fact, Paul also referenced Joel in Romans 10: 13, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” What do we learn from Acts 2: 21? First of all, salvation is in Jesus. (His Hebrew name is Yeshua.) A key cross reference is Acts 4: 12, which states emphatically “for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” The terms of salvation in the Bible could not be made more plain. God requires for us to repent and to call upon the name of Jesus, believing in His merits and trusting in His righteousness. Secondly, the offer is universal, that is, ALL who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, regardless of colour, creed or our country of birth. This teaches that salvation is simple, plain, free and universal for “all” who call upon the name of the Lord Jesus. “ALL” is all-inclusive! But our responsibility is to call while He may still be found! If you harden your heart and fail to call upon the Lord, the Bible says you may suddenly be cut off, and it will be too late. That is why the Bible teaches “today is the day of salvation,” (2 Corinthians 6:2) not tomorrow, not next week, because there may not be a tomorrow for you. What else do we learn from Acts 2: 21? We learn that Jesus was not just a prophet. He was legally given the title LORD for his obedience in dying sacrificially for our sins on the Cross. Romans 1: 4 states that Jesus was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead. Furthermore Paul summarizes the Gospel in three simple words: “Jesus is Lord.” (Romans 10.9; First Corinthians 12.2). The title “Lord” was granted by Father
God to Jesus especially as the One who was exalted from death. As Peter preached at Pentecost in Acts 2: 36, “Therefore let all the house of Israel know for certain that God has made Him both Lord and Messiah.” When we believe and confess that Jesus is Lord, we acknowledge that He has been raised from the dead in power so that He now rules from the very throne of God, far above all powers and principalities. Jesus is Lord of the nations. He’s Lord of Great Britain whether or not the British acknowledge Him these days. He’s Lord of the Americas despite apostasy in North America. He’s lord of the giants, China and India, although they’re still discovering Him. He’s Lord of Arabia, and some day all who bow towards Mecca will bow to Jesus. Before Jesus became the Saviour of the world, the only method whereby men and women could be saved was through sacrificial animal blood in the Jewish Temple. But Jesus prophesied the destruction of the Temple system, and it WAS destroyed in 70 A.D. Now God’s simple method of salvation is to call upon the Name of Jesus, the Lamb of God. After Jesus was crucified and raised from the dead, the apostles applied Joel 2: 32 to the Lord Jesus. “All who call upon the name of the Lord” is a Hebraism, signifying to invoke the Lord Himself, his Presence. If I call my husband, “Peter!” that means I want him and his attention. So it is when we call the name of the Lord, we invoke HIM and his divine Presence. In 1 Corinthians 1:2. Paul quoted the Joel passage, “To the church of God in Corinth, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ….” Some of the most fundamental doctrinal verses in the New Testament are found in Romans 10: 13-14, where Paul declared, “‘Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Quoting Joel 2:32 in the New Testament demonstrates how highly the apostles regarded Jesus as God in the flesh. They AND the Holy Spirit, who inspired their words, had no hesitation in applying to Jesus the names and attributes belonging to the Almighty. Bear in mind, the apostles were Jews. Paul was a Hebrew of Hebrews, educated at the feet of Gamaliel, so they didn’t apply Scripture carelessly to Jesus. They knew exactly what they were claiming…..that Jesus was more than a teacher, rabbi or prophet, that he was was the Messiah, the anointed son of the Blessed One--and in those days rabbis did believe Messiah would be divine. The Gospel remains simple and summarized with a three- word phrase, “Jesus is Lord.” For example, in Acts 16, a desperate man, the Philippian jailer, asked the apostles, “Sirs, What must I do to be saved?” The apostles

did not specify any penance. They did not say he must fast and pray. They did not reply that he must give all his money to the poor. They did not say he must make a pilgrimage. Their answer was simple: “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved—you and your household.” (Acts 16:31) We should make preparation. Saved people are praying people. Those who call upon the Lord in prayer, shall be saved. We need to develop the habit of calling upon the name of the Lord. I’ve heard scores of testimonies of people involved in road accidents but because they called on Jesus, they were saved, even sometimes when their vehicles were totaled, and they walked away without a scratch because they had the presence of mind to call on Jesus! A friend in Kuwait was involved in a car crash; the car flipped over and she could have been killed. But she had the presence of mind to cry, “Jesus!” The car was totalled. She was eight months’ pregnant. The whole family walked free because somebody had the presence of mind to call on Jesus, and the angels moved in. When we preach in India and Pakistan, we often travel on perilous road journeys. Some Indian drivers might cause more people to call upon the name of the Lord than some evangelists! In India there’s no such thing as breathing space on the roads. They tailgate. During our recent Gospel campaign in India, my husband was seated in the front of the car, and sometimes it looked to him like there wasn’t enough room to put a sheet of paper between our car and the vehicle in front of us! In these situations, we’re constantly calling upon the name of the Lord! A third point is that the offer of salvation is free. That is why the Gospel is called Good News for the poor. How can it be? Let me give you an example: suppose you had a big debt and every week you went to the bank to pay off your debt. But one day, the bank announced the GOOD NEWS that an individual had paid off your entire debt. You would be foolish to keep coming to the bank every week to make payments. The bank would say, “Stop! Your debt has been paid in full!” And that is what Jesus did for us on the Cross. He shouted a victory cry from the Cross after his suffering with the last bit of energy he could muster: “It is finished!” The phrase actually literally means, “Paid in full!” He was a bleeding sacrifice. God affirmed the blood of Jesus poured out at the Cross has fully paid the sin
debt for the entire world. Isn’t that marvellous? That’s the divine exchange at the Cross. Jesus’ work was dying for us. Our part—the only action required of us— is to repent of our sins, believe the Good News and to have the good sense to call upon the Name of the Lord for salvation. The Apostle Peter said in his sermon in Acts 2 that we must repent and open our mouths to call upon the name of the Lord. He also said we should be baptized. God commands men and women everywhere to repent. What does it mean to repent? It means to turn around, to change the wrong direction, and to turn back to God and be saved. A poll showed that most people want to go to Heaven but very few are sure they’re going. The apostle John declared in 1 John 5: 13, “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that you may KNOW that you have eternal life, and that you may believe on the name of the Son of God.” So if you’re not sure, or if you’re not sure a loved one is saved, you can make sure. Call on the name of the Lord Jesus to receive assurance and ask loved ones to do so. Bedtime is a good time. Be sure to petition the Lord to create a tender moment of opportunity! He will! It was reported in the news that a gunman pulled a pistol on a newly-wed couple, and the husband rushed between his bride and the gunman. The husband was shot, but saved his bride’s life. The Lord rushed in and was killed to save His Bride, you and me. Do him the honor of calling upon his Name! There are only two kinds of people in this world: those who have called upon the name of the Lord Jesus and those who have not yet called upon his name. Pray the Jesus prayer: It’s so simple, anybody can pray it: Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner! Regardless of your ethnic or religious background, this is a true saying acceptable to God: Jesus, have mercy on me a sinner! A final and important point: the Good News of the Gospel is that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved--the word “saved” also means delivered, healed, preserved and made whole, so the Gospel includes HEALING! Press into the Gospel for all its wonderful promises and refuse to settle for poor health when Jesus has paid the price for your pains and sicknesses by His stripes!

Impacting Nations for the Gospel and Israel PRAISE REPORT from the Prayer for Israel conference in Romania recently hosted by Alfa Omega TV: In the photo at right next to me is German prayer leader for Israel, Harald Eckert, and Tudor Petan, the founder of Alfa Omega TV, with his wife Mirela. Tudor said it was primarily through the influence of Exploits Ministry that his TV network has embraced the Israel message. Eight years ago Tudor invited me to speak at his first Israel prayer conference. Many Romanians have testified that our Exploits Ministry programs (translated into Romanian) have transformed their thinking. Alfa Omega have also printed thousands of my books into the Romanian language. The prophetic anointing upon the conference was deep. I prophesied that Romania will become a model “sheep” nation because of the national influence of Alfa Omega TV, and especially because of its emphasis upon blessing Israel. Peter also gave an interview encouraging Romanians to support the Alfa Omega TV network. No other Eastern European nation has an equivalent Christian satellite TV channel. Tudor and Mirela are some of the most dedicated and humble Christian broadcasters in the world.

Profiles in Courage: Joshua, the Servant of Moses By Christine Darg As we study one of the mightiest men of valour in the Bible, we learn that Joshua is the same name in Hebrew for Jesus. The name means, “God is Salvation.” What was Joshua’s equipment? He was a great general, but his main weapon was the Word of the Lord. His marching orders were to meditate day and night in God’s Word, and if he would be obedient, he would have not just ordinary success but good success. There’s a difference between regular success and then there’s a higher level—and that’s what the Bible describes as good success! So as you obey the Word of God and as you meditate in His Word day and night, you’ll experience not just success but GOOD success! Joshua also had the gift of faith. He had a declaration from God that every place his feet would trod, the land would be given unto him, and the Spirit of God wants you to believe that wherever you’ve put your feet in authority, no demon in Hell can kick you out! This is a Bible principle. The Torah actually taught that the act of walking through the land is a legal formality denoting acquisition! So as you’re walking over land you’re claiming for God, if he truly wants you to have it, you’re making a legal transaction according to God’s divine will and purposes. By faith Joshua also commanded the sun to stand still! Joshua 1:9 is such a precious verse because he was promised the very presence of God. Joshua 1:9 says, Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. If you have the presence of God, you don’t have to fear any devil, nor any man. The Lord said, “Only be strong and courageous for I, the Lord God, am with you wheresoever you go”. So if you have the guarantee of God Almighty backing you, you’ve got legions of warring angels surrounding you. This knowledge should inspire us to get more aggressive against the powers of darkness. We need to understand how to pressurize the enemy. When Satan starts to pressure you, just say, “Wait a minute, devil, I am turning this pressure around, I’m pressuring you-- in the Name of
Jesus, back off!” Do you recall that Joshua and his friend Caleb were the two men of faith, (remember there were twelve spies sent out on reconnaissance to study the promised land), ten of them returned with an evil report of unbelief, and only Joshua and Caleb were men of faith; they had eyes of faith. Numbers 14: 24 says they had a different spirit. And you and I should have a different spirit from the world. Remember when President Clinton shamed America by committing adultery? Everybody said, “We know he’s an adulterer, but we don’t care— just let him do his job.” All the world was saying, “Every leader messes around, what’s the big deal?” As the antichrist gets ready to come on the scene, people are acquiring the same mindset, but God wants true believers to have a different spirit. God said, But my servant, Caleb, because he has a different spirit and has followed me fully, I will bring him into the land and he shall possess it. God is looking for a generation who will fully follow Him. When they were sent as spies into the promised land, Joshua and Caleb not only brought a positive report but also they brought back fruit: the sign of somebody with a different spirit is fruit in their life and ministry. Joshua was also a confessor of victory and knew the power of words. Think about this: here he is, the greatest military general. His orders are to bring in the troops to take the walled city of Jericho. They have crossed the Jordan dry-footed at the flood season, and then God says, while they’re totally exposed to the enemy, this generation of men must stop now and be circumcised. The troops became vulnerable after mass circumcision but Joshua stands up by faith and says, “We’re going to win!” How did he have such faith? He had a vision from God, a word of victory from the Messiah himself, the Captain of the Lord of Hosts who appeared to Joshua with his marching orders! Joshua became great through humility. He waited on God to promote him after the death of Moses, but up until the time of Moses’ demise, Joshua did not overstep. He remained the servant of Moses. (This study will be continued in the next issue.)
