Integrity requires honesty. Don’t tell lies, not even small ones. This just leads to more and more lies. I am honest. I do not cheat or steal.

Responsibility Monday
Tuesday
Responsibility is a job or a duty. It’s my responsibility to provide food at the picnic. You are responsible for all your actions, good and bad. If you take responsibility for something good or bad that happened, you agree that you are to be recognized for it. Take responsibility for yourself. You are important, so protect yourself. Choose your actions with care. They affect others as much as they affect you.
Wednesday
Some ways to create a safe school environment: • Settle arguments with words, not fists. • Walk away from people who are arguing. Forming an audience around others who are arguing makes a good target for violence and may encourage the argument. • Choose your friends. Stick with friends who are also against violence and drugs. • Stay away from trouble spots. • Trust your feelings. If there is a sense of danger, get away fast. • Learn and use safe routes for walking/driving to school and in your neighborhood. • Don’t carry guns, knives or other weapons to school. It is illegal and may cause you to incur an arrest record that could follow you the rest of your life. • Inform school officials immediately if you see another student with a gun, knife or other weapon. • Encourage your school to begin a peer mediation board.
Creating a safe school is everybody’s responsibility.
