De León STRONG, FRAGILE & FEMININE
Getting the ball rolling Patricia, congratulations on a big 2019 and congrats on what is shaping up to be a big 2020 for you, too. What’s it like to have not one but two very prominent recurring roles in ABC’s Stumptown and Station 19? It’s great to have started the year on a strong shows. Feel very blessed, a little chaotic though haha to be honest with you, a couple of times I would wake up at 4 am for a 5:30 am call time and I was like, “wait, I’m i going today for Stumptown or Station 19”. Station 19 is a spinoff of Grey’s Anatomy and is in its third season. For the uninitiated who have yet to discover one of television’s better shows, how would you describe the show and your character to them? The show for me and I believe for the audience as well not only how hard the profession of a fire fighter is and heavy responsibilities they have within their jobs but also that each one of them also have their own personal battles, struggles and challenges. Each episode leaves you with a very positive and humanized message, we all identify one way or another. My character Can talk too much about it but it will definitely will give a big twist to one of the characters in the series.
12 ! CPMAGAZINE ! BUSINESSWOMAN
Stumptown is another exciting project that you’re involved with and it’s based off of a well- known comic book written by Greg Rucka. How close does the show hew to the comic? Is it a pretty faithful adaptation? I believe they have done an amazing job to the comic. Cobie Smulders is incredibly talented and is doing such a great job so are the rest of the cast. They make it so fun to watch. Since we’re on the subject, what are your thoughts on the huge popularity of film and television based off of the comic book genre? I think is amazing really, I am personally more of a true story lover. According to my notes, you’ve also just booked a guest spot on the very popular show NCIS: Los Angeles. Kudos for this too, but it brings us to a very big question: Where on earth do you find all of the time to juggle such a busy work schedule? Hahahahaha the truth I sometimes do even know, but with a lot of help, as I have a very dedicated and caring team of manager and agents. This is every actors dream to stay busy, so when you get your chance, you take it all in and focus to give your best at everything. They say luck is when preparation meets the opportunity, and I’ve been preparing for a very long time.
