A child’s train set magically comes to life and the engines compete to become the fastest in the world. The underdog, Rusty the steam train, has little chance until he’s inspired by the legend of The Starlight Express. Will he defeat his arch rivals, Greaseball and Electra, to win the love of first-class coach, Pearl? Laurie Bertram as Rusty
Amber Bourne-Williams as Pearl The Hush House, built to test military jet engines, features a spectacular exhaust tunnel and is used regularly as a film and TV location. Starlight Express is the largest theatre event ever staged here and is followed by Eastern Angles Swallows and Amazons adventure, We Didn’t Mean To Go To Sea, from 23 June to 9 July. The production team and cast thank Bentwaters Parks, Eastern Angles, Rollerworld Colchester and Three Musketeers for their kind assistance in presenting Starlight Express at the amazing Hush House
