THIS MONTHS HIGHLIGHTS
It’s that time of year again and we are excited about the new candidates running for a position on the Board of Directors. The rally picnic was held on July 29th at Willow Metro Park. Activities were planned for all to have a good time. Music was provided by “Honey Drippers” and shade was available for those who cannot withstand long periods in the sun.

we had a great time dancing and chatting with our Co-op neighbors. Michigan houses the most members and we have “two” (2) positions available. We have more representatives on the Board of Directors because our membership numbers are much higher in Michigan than any other of the member states. The weather was perfect for the picnic and the food was absolutely wonderful. To our new members, be sure to sign up for next years rally and picnic and have a good time with us.!
BALLOTS Ballots for our Board of Directors will be in the mail this month. The Election Committee will be stuffing ballot envelopes on August 19th. We are encouraging all members to exercise their right to vote for the candidate of your choice. Flyers will be posted after August 19th for a “BALLOT MAILING DATE” . This is the day your Congress Rep will be handing out tickets for all those who mail their ballots. An Ice Cream Social is being planned for those who mail ballots and receive tickets.

LaBelle is confident that we have a good choice in Mr. Edwards. He spoke at the Rally/ Picnic with his position on CSI policy and the state of Co-ops. Congratulations, Mr. Edwards, for having the “right stuff”. SEE YOU THERE!
