Change at the top of hardware store

SUNSHINE Mitre 10 Store Manager Robbo McInnes is moving on. The well-known face in the Cooroy store is moving into a new role in the company. Robbo said he will be working in store development and inventory. “My home base will be the Nambour store, when I’m not off doing other things.” Robbo has been at the Cooroy store for two and a half years. “This is my second stint here. So business is thriving.” The Gympie resident has been with Mitre 10 for 25 years, and while he won’t be around the Cooroy store anymore, he will still be around Cooroy on occasion. “I have a lot of friends in town.” Replacing Robbo as store manager is Tony Northey. Tony first worked with Robbo in Buderim in 2010, and then was his secondin-command at the Kunda Park store in 2019. While Robbo said he didn’t have the final say, he did suggest Tony be his replacement at Cooroy. Tony said he is excited to be working in the Cooroy
