Visit to the History Museum in Satu Mare Discipline: history Objectives: ❖ Observation of the historical evolution of the city of Satu Mare and the region ❖ What studies must a student follow to become a museographer Description: The students visited the section dedicated to the history of Satu Mare at the History Museum of Satu Mare. The exhibition covers periods from antiquity to the communist period. The students had the opportunity to experiment with archeological sites in the region with the help of virtual glasses.

Voroneț Monastery

Voroneț Monastery, named "Eastern Sistine Chapel", is a medieval monastic complex built in the village of Voroneț. It is one of the most valuable foundations of Stephen the Great (1457-1504). The church was built in 1488 in only 3 months and 3 weeks, which is a record for that time. The exterior painting of Voroneț, dating from the reign of Petru Rareș, is made at a high artistic level, being considered the most successful ensemble of Moldovan feudal art.


Putna monastery Putna Monastery is an Orthodox monastic shrine, one of the most important Romanian cultural, religious and artistic centers. It was nicknamed "Jerusalem of the Romanian Nation" by Mihai Eminescu and was founded by Prince Stephen the Great (whose tomb is here) in 1469. Also here is the cell of the hermit Daniil Sihastrul.


Suceava Fortress

The Fortress of Suceava was part of the system of fortifications built in Moldova at the end of the 14th century, at the time of the Ottoman danger. The fortress was built at the end of the 14th century by Peter I Musat, was fortified in the 15th century by Stephen the Great and destroyed in the 17th century (1675).


In the footsteps of the poet Mihai Eminescu in Iasi MIHAI EMINESCU (1850–1889) is the most important figure in Romanian literature. The mansion of the ruler Al. I. Cuza in Ruginoasa Alexandru Ioan Cuza was the first ruler of the United Principalities and of the national state of Romania. By his election as lord of Moldavia and Wallachia, on January 24, 1859, the Union of the two principalities was realized. Elected ruler, Cuza led a sustained political and diplomatic activity for the recognition of the Union and then for the achievement of constitutional and administrative unity. This was achieved in January 1862, when Moldova and Wallachia formed the modern unitary Romanian state, officially adopting the name of Romania, with its capital in Bucharest.


Neamț Fortress Neamț Fortress is a medieval fortress in Moldova was built during the reign of Petru Mușat (1374-1391). Located near the highest peak of Pleşului Peak, the fortress is part of the category of medieval monuments of exceptional value in Romania.


Humulești - the memorial house of the writer Ion Creangă The Ion Creanga Memorial House in Humulesti is the cradle of the childhood of the great storyteller Ion Creanga (1837-1889). Near the house in Humulesti is the "Ion Creanga" Theme Park, a place where visitors can meet beloved characters from children's stories written by Ion Creanga.
