The Alliance of Arizona Non-Profits each year sponsors a day to encourage people to give to local non-profits. This year two of Superior’s non-profit 501c3 organizations will be participating in the Arizona Gives Day on Tuesday, April 3, 2018. Rebuild Superior Inc. and the Legends of Superior Trails Inc. will both be participating in Arizona Gives Day for the first time. You can participate by helping these two local nonprofits by donating to their causes. Rebuild Superior Inc. is focussed on community development for Superior. They have been instrumental with blight mitigation, community clean up, business retention and most recently they were awarded a project of managing a hotel feasibility study for the Town of Superior. The local non-profit was founded in 2015. Recently, Rebuild Superior Inc. along with the Superior Chamber of Commerce recently worked with an LDS youth group to paint the homes of several deserving families in Superior. You can donate directly to Rebuild Superior Inc. at their Arizona Gives Day site: https://www.azgives.org/rebuildsuperior The Legends of Superior Trails Inc. (LOST) is another 501c3 participating. The LOST has been focussed on developing and maintaining recreational trails through Superior, connecting the Arizona Trail to Superior. They work hand in hand with the Town of Superior on overall trail development. Funding for their organization will be used to help further

develop trail interpretation and support trail construction from the Airport to the US 60 Park. You can donate directly to the LOST Arizona Gives Day site: https://www.azgives. org/LOST-LegendsOfSuperiorTrails “Both of these organizations provide many important community development services. I encourage everyone to find a way to give to them, any amount helps,” said Superior Mayor Mila Besich-Lira. Both organizations can accept donations outside of the Arizona Gives Day site by contacting them directly.
