Our high energy co-ed youth lacrosse classes build self-esteem and confidence through an innovative and tested child development curriculum. The future of lacrosse starts here. WHAT IS LITTLE LACROSSE ACADEMY?
Coppermine is thrilled to partner with the Little Lacrosse Academy to offer our youngest athletes lacrosse classes that are simple, safe, and fun. Have your Lil’ Athlete learn the fastest growing sport today! CRADLE BABIES (1-2 Years, Parent/Child Class) Together, toddlers and their parents explore lacrosse through basic movement in a fun and engaging way that builds an appreciation for physical activity and helps develop fine and gross motor skills. Classes include parachute activities, endless songs, games, and bubbles!
FIDDLESTICKS (3½-4 Years) Establishing independence in play is a key component of Fiddlesticks. Children explore movement (with and without the ball), develop agility, and master a groundball pickup while having fun and building a love for the fastest game on two feet in a noncompetitive, nurturing environment.
TINY TOTS (2-3½ Years, Parent/Child Class) Focused on learning lacrosse FUNdamentals, this high-energy class introduces children and their parents to organized games that develop the concept of teamwork, foster listening skills, and build hand-eye coordination.
LAXAROOS (4-5 Years) The perfect next step to teach your Lil’ Laxaroo the fundamentals of scooping, cradling, shooting, and teamwork. Classes are fun and fast-paced with small sided games to help prepare children for player development.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT BOYS & GIRLS 6-10 YEARS
Lacrosse Player Development offers a fun, high-energy environment where players improve their abilities and advance their skills. These gender-specific classes are fast-paced, teamoriented “practices” that provide the ideal “next step” in our lacrosse progression. Lacrosse fundamentals will be a major focus and rules/strategies will be introduced through competitive drills and scrimmages. PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (Boys & Girls 6-10 Years) For players looking to improve stick work and technical skills through repetition and game scenarios such as 2v1, 3v2, and 4v4. OUR ATHLETES
Our current athletes are extremely hardworking and passionate about the sport of lacrosse. They excel at the opportunity to compete against the top teams in the highest divisions. Coppermine provides an ideal environment for players who are looking for a better, more intense club experience and who are ready to take their talents to the next level.
OUR COMMITMENT LEVEL
Coppermine Lacrosse Club offers year-round programming for our athletes that includes weekly training sessions, competitive league play, club level tournaments, and strength and conditioning. Our program is broken up into four seasons and varies based on graduation year: • Fall (September-November): 6-8 weekend practices (1 per week), 2-4 tournaments, sports performance training. • Winter (December-February): 4 indoor practices (1 per week), indoor & outdoor league games on Sundays. • Spring (March-May): 15 weekday practices (2 per week), 8-10 NGLL league games. • Summer (June-July): 15 weekday practices (2 per week), 3-5 tournaments.
OUR COACHING STAFF
Coppermine takes pride in our coaching staff who have extensive experience playing, coaching, and developing athletes at all levels of lacrosse to include collegiate and professional. Our coaches, like our players, are passionate about the sport and believe in its limitless potential to build leaders. We work closely with local universities and other collegiate programs to provide specialized programming for our athletes at all ages.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT BOYS & GIRLS 6-13 YEARS
Coppermine Basketball Player Development is the perfect environment for boys and girls to develop and improve their basketball fundamentals and game IQ. Ball handling and shooting drills are emphasized as players progress through different levels of our programs. We encourage good sportsmanship and strong work ethic while achieving goals! PLAYER DEVELOPMENT BASKETBALL CLINIC (U7-U13 Boys & Girls) This clinic is designed to improve players’ ball handling, passing, perimeter moves, shooting, defense, and agility as they continue to play or gear up for their upcoming season. Players will raise their level of play through skill training, repetition and smallsided games. All players will be divided by age and skill level for optimal training.

Our high energy co-ed youth soccer classes build self-esteem and confidence based on a proven child development curriculum. WHAT IS LIL’ KICKERS?
Each child explores their senses and stimulates their imagination with this nationally renowned curriculum based Lil’ Kickers Program. These child development soccer classes are centered around fun, promoting selfconfidence and learning the world’s most popular sport. BUNNIES (18-24 Months, Parent/Child Class) Together, toddlers and parents explore basic soccer and fundamental skills through the use of sensory tools. Classes include parachute activities, bubbles, lots of fun games, and the cone towers!
COTTONTAILS (2.5-3.5 Years, Adult Interactive) Build fundamental skills such as balance, coordination, and ball skills in a fun environment. As children progress, parents can take a less active role, helping their child transition into Hoppers classes.
THUMPERS (25-35 Months, Parent/Child Class) Parents and kids play organized games together to develop listening skills, balance, ball skills, and foot-eye coordination. This class helps children transition into our Cottontails class.
HOPPERS (3-4 Years) Three and four year-olds get a fast-paced, fun exposure to the most popular sport in the world. Classes focus on foot-eye coordination, dribbling, scoring and balance.

PLAYER DEVELOPMENT BOYS & GIRLS 4-10 YEARS
This program is perfect for those players looking for a more competitive soccer environment and small sided games to enhance their soccer skills. Training clinics focus on skill development while perfecting the fundamentals of proper passing, dribbling and shooting techniques. PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS
10 MONTHS - 8 YEARS
Our preschool gymnastics programs use movement to build a foundation for learning and gaining self-confidence. Classes build strength, flexibility and coordination, as well as spatial awareness, language and listening skills in a fun environment. PLAY GYM (10-16 Months, Parent/Child Class) Tumbling on the giant trampoline plus guided activities with songs, props, bouncing, rolling, crawling expeditions and free play, allow the little one to grow and develop along the way. One parent/caregiver per child is required in this class. TINY TUMBLERS (16-36 Months, Parent/Child Class) Children develop balance, flexibility and listening skills through the introduction of simple directions, use of obstacle courses, and time on the trampoline and swing. One parent/caregiver per child is required in this class. TUMBLE TOTS (3 Years) This movement education class is an independent class that focuses on building confidence and listening skills and provides a fun, safe and challenging environment for our tiny gymnasts. Fitness and motor skills are developed through the use of obstacle courses, games and gymnastics stations.
GYM KIDS (4-5 Years) This movement education class continues to strengthen skills introduced in the Tumble Tots class while introducing new challenges. Obstacle courses, gymnastics stations and the use of gymnastics apparatus, are used to create a safe and fun learning environment. We recommend this class for 4 year olds who have already mastered the Tumble Tots curriculum. GYM KIDS+ (5½-6 Years) For those participants that have completed two or more GYM KIDS classes and are looking to continue their skill sets at a more challenging level. REC PROGRAMS
6 - 17 YEARS
At Coppermine our coaches believe Gymnastics should be fun & educational as we provide a positive learning environment that will improve your child’s gymnastics ability, and enhance their self-confidence, strength, flexibility, coordination and work ethic. FUTURE STARS (Co-Ed 6-8 Years) Future Stars is a gymnastics class for the child interested and physically ready for a more progressive gymnastics course. This program transitions participants to the more challenging gymnastics equipment, as well as introducing and focusing on the basic skills needed to progress to more advanced skills.
GALAXIES (Girls 8-12 Years, Advanced) This class is for the gymnast who has mastered the skill prerequisites of Asteroids & Comets. Participants will focus on more advanced gymnastics on all apparatus, including routines, running tumbling passes, high and low bar skills, and acro and dance series on beam. Instructor recommendation or skill evaluation is required before registration.
ASTEROIDS (Boys & Girls 9-12 Years, Beginner) This introductory class will focus on the fundamental techniques and skills needed for vault, bars, beam (girls), floor and trampoline. Boys will be introduced to the parallel bars, pommel horse and still rings. Skills covered include rolls, handstands, cartwheels, kickovers and pullovers.
TUMBLING I (6+ Years, Introductory) An introductory tumbling course for those still learning or trying to master rolls, cartwheels, handstands, back bends, kickovers and round offs.
COMETS (Girls 8-12 Years, Intermediate) Comets is an intermediate level class that will continue to build upon fundamental skills, flexibility and strength. New challenges are provided through stations, drills and sequences. Back walkovers, back handsprings, back hip circles and transitions to high bar are some of the skills covered. Skill evaluation is required for this class.
TUMBLING II (8+ Years, Intermediate, Instructor Approval Required) An intermediate to advanced tumbling class for those who have already mastered their basics as well as round offs, front walkovers and back walkovers. This class will focus on progressions to learning back handsprings, front handsprings, running tumbling and tucks. TEEN GYMNASTICS (13-17 Years) Teen Gymnastics incorporates trampoline, floor, bars, beam and vault for each participant’s skill level. Strength, flexibility and balance are reinforced to challenge gymnasts as they progress through skills.

Our youth dance program is designed for beginner dancers moving them through the basic techniques and exercises while creating a love for dance and having fun expressing themselves. CREATIVE MOVEMENT (2.5-3 Years) Our youngest dancers explore movement with fun props and ageappropriate music. This class lays the foundation so students can progress to our Intro to Dance classes.
BALLET & JAZZ (6+ Years) This fun combination class engages our dancers in a captivating atmosphere while learning technical dance in both Ballet and Jazz techniques.
INTRO TO DANCE (3-6 Years) A continuation of Creative Movement, dancers learn foundational skills and terminology for Ballet and Tap. Gross, fine, and cognitive skills develop through structured, creative activities.
JAZZ (8+ Years) This class develops classical Jazz technique with age-appropriate popular music. Emphasis is on energy, rhythmical accuracy and style. Dancers learn and utilize Jazz dance terminology with correct body alignment and placement.
GYMNASTICS AND DANCE (3-7 Years) An extension of Creative Movement, dancers explore the foundation of classical Ballet and the beginnings of dance-specific acrobatic skills. These skills include: mat, strength, flexibility, and basic gymnastics.
HIP HOP (4-11 Years) Students are introduced to the vocabulary and style of Hip Hop movement. No dance experience is required for this high energy class. Hip Hop is about personal style and expression for anyone with a passion to move.

The Bike Whisperer can help your child learn to ride a bike just as we have done with the 400+ kids and counting so far! Our 2-hour private lessons get kids up and riding their bikes which leads to greater self-confidence & improves self-esteem dramatically! We suggest bringing a bike that your child is on the verge of outgrowing. Oversized bikes present an additional obstacle for new riders to overcome. Your child should be able to touch both feet nearly flat to the ground with the seat at it’s lowest setting. Training wheels must be removed prior to the lesson.

BEGINNER LEVEL
Players develop racquet and motor skills while creating a passion for the game. Beginner students will learn techniques such as racquet grip, swing, preparation and developing hand eye coordination while learning basic shot differentiation.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
Players’ skills will be fine-tuned through drills, strength training and court movement. They will learn the technical aspects of the game such as scoring, match play and fitness.
ADVANCED LEVEL
Players will begin to understand game plans, strategic play and develop their mental aspects of the game. Players will demonstrate court awareness through coverage and agility, with an emphasis on match winning shots. Advanced players will continue to grow their skills through competitive play and drilling.
ELITE PROGRAM
Players will work closely with Lefika and focus on developing a winning mindset. The Elite level emphasizes silver and gold level match play and techniques. The Elite program also encourages varsity play with collegiate squash opportunities.

Coppermine now has 12 indoor & 6 outdoor courts! YOUTH TENNIS (4-6 Years) For our new tennis friends who want to learn basic tennis fundamentals and improve hand eye coordination, body control, special awareness, and exercise fine motor skills. Red & Orange Balls will be used.
THE TENNIS INSTITUTE (6-18 Years) Directed by Lenny Scheuerman & Thiha Htwar offers an array of player development clinics for all levels in a positive environment that promotes a confident attitude towards competition.
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT (4-12 Years) Learn the fundamentals of tennis focusing on forehand, backhand, serve and volley in various drills and fun games while retaining an understanding of tactical court positioning.
THE ALL COURT TENNIS ACADEMY (4-18 Years) Lead by Terrance Scott, develops a solid foundation starting with proper grip and correct swing patterns. Training through progression and repetition ensures all information is retained.
JR DEVELOPMENT INTER / ADV / MATCH PLAY (9-16 Years) Improve skills as players are introduced to advanced stroke mechanics and develop a sense of shot selection, decision making and problem solving in a competitive situation as they build confidence on the court. Match play features organized matches based on skill levels to prepare players for tournaments.
SELBY TENNIS (4-18 Years) Directed by Greg Selby, this clinic uses the USTA progression series balls (red, orange, green dot, and yellow) as the player gains more confidence through this clinic. Each phase is taught by professionally certified instructors, with over 20 years of experience.
TENNIS ACADEMY (10-18 Years) For players who are committed to competing in tournaments and Junior Team Tennis. This program is limited in size to help these players accelerate their game and progress to the highest level.
