1. Online registration begins March 23. Forms are available for download and must be mailed or dropped off at the Gymnasium. (Best option for submitting payments) CoralSprings.org/KampKool 2. Walk-in registration: Drop off the completed forms and deposit beginning March 23 at the Coral Springs Gymnasium. 3. Mail-in registration: For the seven-week program, mail must be postmarked on or after Monday, March 23. Complete the registration form and indicate the child’s first, second and third choice of camp sites/programs.

Multi-family registrations mailed in the same envelope will be returned. • Check and money orders only. Do not send cash. • Enclose a $100 deposit for each child. Please include a separate check or money order for each child. Make checks and money orders payable to the City of Coral Springs, and be sure to include your driver’s license number. • Include a non-returnable copy of your child’s current report card. • Once your registration form has been received, an invoice will be e-mailed to you stating your camp placement and balance due.

Important Information • Children are placed in camps on a first-come, firstserved basis. If a camp receives more applications than its capacity, the Parks and Recreation Department will use your second or third choices for enrollment. • Once your child is placed in a camp, the $100 deposit is non-refundable. • Children must be six years of age by September 1, 2020 to enroll in the program or as stated in the description of each camp. • There will be a $25 administration fee for changing camps. All requests must be in writing.

CODE EXPLORERS Code Explorers is the first Non-Profit in the Nation Preparing the Next Generation on the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies. Programs include: Engineering career explorations, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Internet of Things, Physical Computing, and Data Science. In 2019, the United Nations SDG Action Zone exhibited Code Explorers project Miami Empathy Tech – an Artificial Intelligence with Virtual Reality project for kids to learn empathy and sustainability. THEATER SKITS CAMP (AGES 5 – 12) Date: June 8 – 12 Cost: $45 per day $150 Monday – Friday Times: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. structured activities) Location: Mullins Park Veteran’s Building Special show will be prepared for families on Friday, June 12 at 4:30 p.m. What hidden talents might your child unleash in our Skits program? Our program develops social skills, builds confidence and provides an opportunity to explore movement and creative expression. Audition techniques and terminology will be learned along with scenes and routines. This program challenges imagination and memory though drama games and prepares students for the stage. Arts& crafts, tumbling and swimming will be also included in the weekly activities. $20 material fee paid to instructor on first day for swimming. Children will develop discipline, respect and self- confidence while learning self- defense. Colored belts are awarded by attendance, and there are no belt-testing fees. Any child can earn a black belt. Trust your child’s self-defense instruction with Scott Ashley, a law enforcement officer with more than 30 years of teaching experience. This camp is designed for children who are already members of a Swim Club or Swim team and also must have USA Swimming Membership. Level II: Fundamental Aquatic Skills Builds on skills learned in Preschool Aquatics OR Learn to Swim Level I. Learning objectives will include enter water by jumping, floating front and back and changing direction of travel. Level III: Stroke Development Course will build on skills learned in Fundamentals. The dolphin and breaststroke kicks will be introduced to prepare for the butterfly and breaststroke swimming. Level IV/V: Stroke Improvement & Refinement Course develops confidence and builds endurance in strokes learned in the previous classes and includes further coordination and refinement of all strokes. Skills introduced include: tuck and pike surface dives, and flip turns. Level VI: Skill Proficiency To refine strokes so participants swim them with more ease, efficiency, power and smoothness and over greater distances. Adult Swim (ages 13 and up) 45 min. Adult Beginner Basic Level I Course is design to teach teens and adults overcome their fear of the water and to learn basic skills to achieve a minimum level of water competency. Adult Stroke & Skills Improvement II & III Course is design for teens and adults to improve foundation skills and strokes to gain an overall level of comfort in the water.

The group also goes on trips to local attractions at an additional cost. Any Coral Springs senior age 55 or older can join this service. The bus is handicap accessible. Annual fee is $25. Summer in the Studio is back again, with new and exciting summer camp classes for children ages 6 to 15. The camp features creative weekly themes that will allow children to tap into the right side of their brains through artistic offerings such as papier-mâché, sculpture, painting, drawing, mosaics, pop art and optical illusions. Specialty classes include ceramics, animation, digital photography, Augmented reality, cosplay costumes and props, comic book design, interior design, kinetic art, and so much more! The Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital (SNC) is an environmental learning center and wildlife rehabilitation facility located in Sportsplex Park. The Center is open to the public for self-guided tours or any of our special programs. The SNC also operates a wildlife rehabilitation facility caring for injured, sick and orphaned native wildlife with the hope of releasing them back into the wild.
