CORNWALL, Ontario – The first annual Sap & Suds event is fast approaching. This event in support of Rachel’s Kids celebrates two popular Canadian staples, maple syrup and beer. Taking place Jan. 11 and 12 at the Cornwall Civic Complex, Sap & Suds will feature 15 to 20 vendors including larger breweries like Labatt and Molson. Trevor MacDonald and Cory Dixon have been selected as chair and co-chair respectively for the event. “Trevor is one of our 100 Souls members who believes in what we do in the community,” said Kim Lauzon, Executive Director of Rachel’s Kids. MacDonald runs a local distribution company in Cornwall and says that giving back to the community is something that he and his company believe in. “Rachel’s Kids is such a good cause,” he said. “Giving back to the community is a big part of our community and a personal goal of mine.” MacDonald and Dixon will be working in the community to help promote the event. “If you’re not a beer drinker don’t let that discourage you,” said MacDonald. “There is
