HAY House

Visiting HAY House is always a highlight of my trips to Copenhagen. This year’s 3daysofdesign was exceptional, showcasing a revamped HAY House that blends bold use of colour with Danish design sensibility and quality. The immersive exhibition, including upcoming launches, the ASICS collaboration, and the LOCALE 21 restaurant takeover of the fourth floor, beautifully illustrated HAY’s innovation and heritage.

Islands of Wellbeing

Set against Copenhagen harbour, Fritz Hansen’s ‘ISLANDS OF WELLBEING’ showcased extraordinary design in visionary architecture for outdoor lounging, hospitality, and workspaces. The collaboration between Fritz Hansen and Cobe architects at Operaparken and Papirøen and the premiere of Fritz Hansen’s outdoor collection beautifully illustrated the future of wellbeing through innovative design.

PP Møbler Workshop Tour

I’ve always been a big fan of PP Møbler’s work, so visiting their workshop was a real treat. I was blown away by the incredible craftsmanship behind shaping their products’ complex forms, something machines just can’t do alone. Watching the craftsmen work with each piece of wood, adapting to its unique grain and using their hands to perfect the shape, really showed me the irreplaceable value of their skill and dedication.
