GUBI invited visitors to discover and explore the intersection of color and texture – the point where shade and surface met, and the emotions they inspired. Alongside new furniture and lighting editions from designers like Pierre Paulin and Mathieu Matégot, GUBI unveiled fresh material concepts from contemporary studios such as Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt and GamFratesi in a colorful and graphic display. The revered Italian fabric house Dedar and sustainable leather specialists at Sørensen Leather collaborated with GUBI to showcase a tactile textile and leather installation. Additionally, for UNICEF, GUBI presented a collaboration featuring its iconic Pacha Lounge Chair in surplus fabrics to support children worldwide.

Setting the scene for guests at this year’s 3daysofdesign, HAY overhauled its flagship store, HAY House, located in an eighteenth-century building in the heart of Copenhagen.

HAY joined forces with Copenhagen’s new local favorite, LOCALE 21, to bring the best of casual Italian dining to HAY House. HAY curated products from all parts of its legacy to create the restaurant. Among others, guests dined with the Barro Collection by Rui Pereira, the Rey Collection by Bruno Rey for Dietiker in collaboration with HAY, STUDIO0405’s new Tiny Vase, and Marc Morro’s new Taburete 8 Bar Stool.

Nanimarquina unveiled its latest 2024 collections during 3daysofdesign at the Ruby Atelier Gallery, showcasing rugs as authentic artworks, transcending their utilitarian nature. Among the highlights were the Colorado collection by Inga Sempé, new designs from the Chillida collection, the Wabisabi collection by Nani Marquina, and the Pearls collection by Sabine Finkenauer. The gallery was transformed into a quasi-theatrical backdrop, seamlessly blending carefully selected pieces by Nanimarquina. Curated by Openhouse and styled by Henriette Schou and Pernille Vest, the exhibit presented Nanimarquina and Expormim in an elevated setting, showcasing them as curated pieces.
