Coastal Bend native Brianna Tieperman is an inspirational entrepreneur, full of determination and a great work ethic. Although she has been breaking real estate records and gaining a large social media following, she is quick to give credit to all who have helped her grow into the woman she is today and reach for the goals she is setting for tomorrow. With a twinkle in her eye, Bri shared that there is no pause button for where she is heading; she just hits play and goes, pushing forward with style and selling South Texas.
Bri started working at a Rockport boutique when she was 15. Owner Nancy saw potential in the young student. “She helped me blossom to who I am,” expressed Bri. “I attribute most of the people skills that I have today to working with her.” Nancy mentored Bri for the five years she worked there. After graduating from high school, Bri wasn’t sure what she wanted to do. Running the boutique’s social media helped Bri fall in love with the marketing side of business, so she started taking business and marketing classes at Texas A&M.
Books and lectures didn’t motivate or inspire Bri, even though she had thought about being in the medical field. She loved to learn from life. Her mom, who had worked her way up from a bank teller to a management position without going to college, encouraged her to find a job that offered future advancement. Her father, an entrepreneurial chiropractor who opened his own office, encouraged her to find something she enjoyed doing. Her parents modeled how to want something and then achieve it. Her boyfriend, James, helped her see the light at the end of the tunnel and stay focused on what she wanted for her future.
Bri accepted a job at the Portland Chamber of Commerce as a programs and events coordinator and learned a lot from her experience. She worked her way into marketing and then memberships and deepened her desire to connect with clients and help them accomplish their goals. She explored the world
Although she became a more wellrounded person while exploring various employment options and experiences, she hadn’t found anything she was passionate about. She had even thought about going to trade school, but all that came to mind for traditional women’s trades were things related to beauty. When she learned of an open apartment leasing manager position, she decided to give it a chance. As Bri found her passion in real estate, it opened a whole new world for her.
She took her time finishing her real estate coursework, wanting the end result but not being excited about the bookwork aspect. Her parents and James encouraged her to finish what she started and keep her focus on the end goal of becoming a REALTOR®, and it paid off as she started working for a small brokerage in Portland in September 2020.
Bri discovered that she needed a change and joined Keller Williams. She said it was one of the best decisions she has made. She connected with her mentor, Charlie Howell, who coached the new REALTOR® and saw that she would be a great asset to his team, The Paradise
Team. Initially, Bri wanted to be a solo agent, but in September 2021, she decided to join the team. She was thrilled at how well the team worked together and supported each other.
Although she doesn’t measure success monetarily, Bri is proud of closing $3M in volume in her first full year as a REALTOR®. She credits her mentor Charlie, broker Lori Garcia, and Seth Howk for setting her up for success. Bri is very thankful for the support KW gives to new agents. She learned firsthand the importance of having the right people in her life to keep her going.
This fall, Bri will celebrate two years as a REALTOR®. She enjoys working for herself, with a team, and is
thankful that she is encouraged to ask them questions and share her own insights. She loves that in this industry, she is always able to learn new things. Bri’s personality and social media presence help set her apart from others. She is very strategic with her videos and how she markets her properties and promotes her listings.
Real estate allows me to be myself and live outside of the box. I can use my creativity and the things I’m passionate about to help others and to sell South Texas as my clients say yes to the address!
From the outside, it may not look like she has a good worklife balance because Bri loves to work. Since she doesn’t have children, and her boyfriend is away for two weeks at a time because of his job in the oil field, she answers client calls and works on her marketing “after hours.” When James comes home, Bri still takes care of her clients, but she scales things back a little. She enjoys making memories with her family and spends a lot of time with her Pitty mix Endo and her Maltipoo Sookie, who are both “rays of sunshine.”
Bri has a heart of gold and wants to be remembered for being a light to others. It’s not just about the deal for her, and she believes in creating lifelong friendships with her clients. She wants them to know she is always ready to help them and that she is grateful for this path. REALTORS® help people make the biggest decisions in their lives, and Bri said it is an amazing feeling to be a part of making a difference for families and for her community. She also wants to make a difference in the lives of other REALTORS®, showing kindness and support since they are all in the same business and working toward the same goal.
“I’ve seen people cry at closings,” shared Bri, “and I thought to myself, I helped do this! I don’t regret exploring and finding what I truly wanted to do; I was tired of the workforce’s dress codes and rules. Real estate allows me to be myself and live outside of the box. I can use my creativity and the things I’m passionate about to help others and to sell South Texas as my clients say yes to the address!”
