hose were the words spoken by Richard Downing Airport Administrator Bethel Toler at last week’s signing of a grant from the FAA that will allow the airport to begin the much needed expansion of the runway to 5,000 feet. “Everyone has done a tremendous job – every-
one worked together to make this happen”, said Toler. Congressman Zach Space was on hand for the signing – and commented, “This is your money – our money. This is an example of something good coming from Washington D.C. and the Congress. This runway extension is very
important to not only Coshocton but to the surrounding area. As the economy changes, we need to adapt to the changing needs. This will allow this area to compete on a more regional level”.
