HOLIDAY TRADITION The Roscoe Village candlelighting tradition spans many years and hundreds of visitors enjoyed a pleasant evening for the first ceremony of the 2015 season. The tree that came alive with lights to the “oohs” and “aahs” of everyone watching was donated by the Steve Jones family and is unique in that it was once their Christmas tree. They wanted the tree to have a second opportunity to delight boys and girls of all ages as it did with their own children years before. Pictured helping Santa Claus light the candle is Sophie Meiser as the elf and sister Maddy read the story.
