Humane Society of Cottage Grove is an all-volunteer non-profi t tax-exempt organization. However, there is not a shelter for animals provided in the community. For more information on many animal issues, call 541-9423130 or go to www.humanesocietycg.org. Address is P.O. Box 61, Cottage Grove, OR 97424.

You may contact the police department for dogs found inside Cottage Grove (541-942-9145) and Lane County Animal Services for dogs found outside city limits (541682-3645). For dog licensing inside city limits, go to city hall. Proof of rabies vaccine is required.

Lost Pets: If you lose a pet, you might also notify KNND Radio 1400 am at 541-942-2468 and the CG Humane Society Lost & Found at 541-9422578, in addition to posting notices at local veterinary offi ces and on craigslist and social media.
